Crime boss Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) decides to sell his hugely lucrative business to American businessman Matthew (Jeremy Strong). Naturally, rumors of his departure are perceived as a sign of weakness by some competitors, and now a daring Asian mafia (Henry Golding) seeks to cause Mickey trouble, using complex schemes and sabotaging one of his marijuana farms. Neither Mickey nor his henchman Ray (Charlie Hunnam) are happy about such a turn and are trying to prevent a full-scale war and solve some minor life problems along the way. Guy Ritchie began his film career as the author of stylish crime comedies about the everyday life of the inhabitants of London, and for this, he was called the "British Tarantino." The label is as clear as it is superficial, since Ritchie's further creative trajectory shows that he is generally interested in slightly different themes and genres. In The Gentlemen, Richie again shows us a bunch of peculiar characters on the screen. Colin Farrell looks especially bright in the role of Coach, as well as Hugh Grant as a sneaky private detective. As for the main characters, McConaughey certainly looks great in the form of a cold-blooded, but ready to explode at any moment criminal genius. The film makes us feel the style of early Richie, in which a twisted detective plot is first built layer by layer, so that in the finale, all the threads are finally untangled. There is also surprisingly little shooting here: apart from a couple of spectacular scenes, the characters mostly resolve their issues diplomatically, although there is always strength behind this gentleness, which Richie regularly reminds us of. At the heart of The Gentlemen is a completely traditionally filmed and stylishly designed crime comedy, inhabited by vivid characters and with a kaleidoscope of spectacular scenes. It is the very Guy Ritchie, who, as it turns out, remembers well how he began his career in cinema.

Andrea VanEpps was born in Salem, Oregon, but as a toddler she moved with her family to a small town in Montana where she was first introduced to the stage and all of the physical activities that shaped her future in entertainment. As small as the town may have been it had a lot to offer. She practiced martial arts, shooting everything from the smallest pistols to semi-auto weapons (it was Montana after all), hiking and climbing all the beautiful mountains and rock faces that surrounded the valley and everything else that she never knew that people pay to do elsewhere. Amidst her pursuit of an acting career she discovered the otherwise unknown world of stunts. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the physicality and the precision involved in stunts. Betty Garrett (May 23, 1919 - February 12, 2011) was an American actress, comedian, singer and dancer, who starred in several Hollywood musicals and stage roles. She was at the top of her game when the Communist scare in the 1950s brought her career to a screeching, ugly halt. She and her husband Larry Parks, an Oscar-nominated actor, were summoned by the House UnAmerican Activities Committee and questioned about their involvement. As the drama played out, a very pregnant Garrett was never called to testify, but her husband was. With his admission of Communist Party membership from 1941-1945 and refusal to name names, he made it to the Hollywood Blacklist. After the incident, Garrett and Parks worked up nightclub singing/comedy acts along with appearing in legit plays. Although Parks never quite shook off the blacklist incident, he did win a role in John Huston's film, Freud (1962). Garrett went on to appear in roles in many television series.

Christophe Willem

Christophe Frédéric Durier (born 3 August 1983), better known by his stage name Christophe Willem, is a French singer and the winner of the fourth edition of Nouvelle Star (French version of Pop Idol) in 2006. Christophe spent most of his life in Deuil-la-Barre (Val-d'Oise), where his parents run a driving school. As a child, he learned figure skating and to play the piano. Later he learned to sing as part of a gospel choir "Young Voices". He also was composing songs at the age of fourteen. Before deciding to study to become a lawyer and calculus professor, he continued to practice music and in 2004 he appeared in a Richard Anconina film, Alive, where he played the role of Henri, a young man with a golden voice who is, nevertheless, not considered suitable for the lead role in a musical. Since his film career continued after this, he returned home, where he studied communication while working a number of part-time jobs, such as babysitting and helping in a theatre. Pushed by his family and friends, he decided to try out for the 2006 edition of Nouvelle Star. With an initial audition performance of Strong Enough by Des'ree, he surprised the judges, who did not expect such a quality voice from an admittedly ungainly-looking man. Nicknamed "La Tortue" (The Turtle) by Nouvelle Star judge Marianne James, he proved to be a popular contestant, and on 8 June, was crowned the fourth Nouvelle Star. Jimmy Conlin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jimmy Conlin (October 14, 1884 – May 7, 1962) was an American character actor who appeared in almost 150 films in his 32-year career. Conlin was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1884, and his acting career started out in vaudeville, where he and his first wife Myrtle Glass played the Keith-Albee-Orpheum circuits billed as "Conlin & Glass", a song-and-dance team. They also starred together in two short films, Sharps and Flats (1928) and Zip! Boom! Bang! (1929) for Vitaphone. Conlin made another comedy short without Glass in 1930 (A Tight Squeeze), but his film career started for good in 1933, and for the next 27 years, with the single exception of 1951, every year saw the release of at least one film in which Conlin appeared – at the height of his career, often more than a dozen of them. Recognizable by his small size and odd appearance, Conlin played all sorts of small roles and bit parts, many times not receiving an onscreen credit. In the 1940s, Conlin was part of Preston Sturges' unofficial "stock company" of character actors, appearing in nine films written and directed by Sturges. His roles in Sturges' films were often sizable and often came with good billing. One of his best performances came in Sturges' The Sin of Harold Diddlebock in 1946, when he played "Wormy", the racetrack tout who convinces Harold Lloyd to have his first drink, setting off the events of the film. The loyalty between Sturges and Conlin ran both ways, and when the former golden boy of Hollywood fell on hard times, Conlin remained a friend, stayed in contact, and helped out in any way he could. Conlin did not make many television appearances, but he did have a regular role as a bartender on Duffy's Tavern, a syndicated series from 1954. He made his final film in 1959, when he played a habitual criminal in Anatomy of a Murder.

Brian William Pillman was an American football player and professional wrestler best known for his appearances in World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation in the 1990s. Pillman had a legacy as "The Loose Cannon", a wrestling gimmick that would see him do a series of worked-shoots that would gain him a degree of infamy for his unpredictable character.
