Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Hande Erçel (born 24 November 1993) is a Turkish actress and model, known for her work in television and films. One of turkey's highest-paid actressess. After studying from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, she started her early modeling career, where she won the title of Miss Turkey in 2012, following this, Erçel made her acting debut with a role of Zahide in tv series The Wren. She gain popularity after playing Selin Yılmaz in Romance, comedy television series Güneşin Kızları for which she won the Rising Star of the Year at Golden Butterfly Awards. Erçel is best known for her roles in Romance series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (2016–17) and Romantic comedy, Drama series Sen Çal Kapımı (2020) in which her performance was highly acclaimed and won several accolades including Golden Wings Awards for Best Actress of the Year respectively.

Sharon Washington

Biography

Sharon Washington is an American stage, TV, film, and voice actress. She received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama and her BA from Dartmouth College. Sharon got her start doing soap operas such as the 1996 season of "One Life to Live" in addition to having a recurring role on the mini-series follow-up "Heaven & Earth: North & South, Book III". She has had guest star appearances in TV series including Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and in the final season of Madam Secretary. She’s also had recurring roles in For Life, City On A Hill, The Code, Gotham, Law & Order: SVU, and Damages. Other television credits include the Hulu series The Looming Tower, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, Golden Boy, White Collar, Royal Pains, NYC 22, Law & Order and Law & Order: CI. She has appeared in numerous television commercials both on-camera and voice-over and is an accomplished audiobook and documentary film narrator. Sharon played Lena in the webseries Hustling for which she was awarded an Indie Series award for Best Supporting Actress (2015). Her film appearances include Joker, The Bourne Legacy, Michael Clayton, Wiener Dog, Rocksteady, Taking Chance, Freedomland, The School of Rock, Half Nelson, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Malcolm X, and Die Hard With A Vengeance. On Broadway, she appeared as The Lady in the critically-acclaimed The Scottsboro Boys musical by Kander & Ebb directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. A role she originated at The Vineyard Theatre and The Guthrie. Other Off-Broadway credits include roles in Dot at the Vineyard Theatre, written by Colman Domingo and also directed by Susan Stroman; While I Yet Live by Billy Porter at Primary Stages; Luce by JC Lee at Lincoln Center Theater (LCT3); and Wild With Happy also by Colman Domingo at the Public Theater for which she received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination and an Audelco Award. She has worked many times on the New York Shakespeare Festival stage including playing Lady Anne to Denzel Washington's Richard III and Valeria to Christopher Walken's Coriolanus; as well as in the award-winning adaptation of Caucasian Chalk Circle directed by George C. Wolfe and Stuff Happens directed by Daniel Sullivan.

David Huynh

Biography

A Canadian transplant, David Huynh has had the fortunate opportunity to have performed on both Canadian and American theater, television and film productions. David was seen on Canadian television on YTV's "2030 C.E." and appeared in Kiefer Sutherland's directorial debut "Woman Wanted". His stage credits also include the role of Oscar in "Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang" and Berthold Brecht's "The Caucasian Chalk Circle". David has studied at The Prairie Theatre Exchange and was a member of the influential Manitoba Theatre for Young People. David was a student at The University of Manitoba, working on a major in Theatre and a minor in Film studies. In Los Angeles, David made his stage debut in Joe Jordan's "Dubya 2004" at The Sacred Fools theater, following a stint at The Underground Theatre's production of Landford Wilson's "Balm In Gilead" and on television as Sun Kim on the ABC program, "Invasion". Most notably, David is recognized as the title character of Juwan Chung's intense gangland drama, "Baby(2005)".

Jayasurya is an Indian film actor and comedian. He has starred in more than 75 Malayalam films. Jayasurya made his debut in 2001 in the Malayalam film Dosth as a junior artist. Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan was his break-out role. His performances in films include Swapnakkoodu, Pulival Kalyanam, Chathikkatha Chanthu, Classmates, Arabikkatha, Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, and Gulumaal. Jamie Elizabeth Tarantini (née Sampson, born August 14, 1986) is a stage, film and television actress. She is credited under both names. A graduate of the Theater Arts Performance program at Humber College in Toronto, Jamie studied devised and physical creation. Her performances spanned such roles as Malvolio (Twelth Night), Athena (Pentheus), the Witch (Hansel & Gretel). She was a recipient of the Edna Khubyar Award in her final year for theater excellence. In Toronto, Jamie trained extensively at the renowned Armstrong Acting Studios under Salvatore Antonio for film and television acting. Since moving to California she has continued training at the Bramon Garcia Braun Studio and The Village Acting Studio in Los Angeles.

Rikki Gagne was born in the small town of Campbell River on the east coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Her childhood was a mix of various sports including gymnastics and snowboarding. She proved to be a natural in any sport she set her sights to. In gymnastics she competed at a high level. In her snowboarding she also excelled. She was sponsored and was competitive in big air, half pipe and slope style. These skills translated into formidable assets in her stunt career. Her first stunt job in the film industry job was on Scary Movie 3. Rikki is now attached to a variety of independent films in which we can continue to enjoy her performances.

Helena Carter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Helena Carter (24 August 1923–11 January 2000) was an American film actress in the 1940s and 1950s. Carter was born Helen Rickerts in New York City, and her family was of Scottish descent. She attended Columbia University, studying for a teaching degree. During this period she worked as a fashion model, which led to her becoming a cover girl. She was offered a film acting contract by producer Leonard Goldstein, which led to a brief acting career. Her first film role was Time Out of Mind in 1947, which starred Ella Raines, Eddie Albert, and Phyllis Calvert. From 1947 to 1953 she would appear in thirteen films, during which time she also worked as a model. In 1948 she appeared on the cover of Life Magazine. One of her most recognizable film roles was opposite Randolph Scott in the 1951 western Fort Worth. Her final film role was in 1953 when she starred in William Cameron Menzies' sci-fi thriller Invaders from Mars. She married twice, the first ending in divorce. Her second marriage was to Michael Meshekoff, with whom she would remain until his death. She was living in Culver City, California at the time of her death at age 76 on January 11th, 2000.
