Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Carsten Byhring

Biography

Carsten Byhring (born December 8, 1918 in Christiania, died April 6, 1990) was a Norwegian actor on stage, in television and in film. His career started in high school, when he performed a small pantomimer with comedic content. The cabaret scene he debuted in 1941, by Søilen Theatre in Oslo. In the period 1947-1959 he was employed at the cabaret scene Chat Noir, but made many guest appearances at the Central Theatre, The Norwegian Theatre, the Norwegian Opera and Oslo Nye Teater. Byhring appeared often in dramatic roles but was best known for his comedic talent, and he focused in particular monologue genre. He has released several classic character performances, his interpretation of Doolittle in George Bernard Shaw play Pygmalion is among his most famous. He had many film roles, but especially he is remembered as Kjell in the first 13 "Olsenbanden" films. He also produced and directed two films for children - Bear Patrol (1956) and On cruises with Terna (1958). Byhring was the older brother of Svein Byhring. In his last interview - which was made by See and Hear the spring of 1990 - said a parent with cancer Carsten Byhring that he had been a large consumer of cigarettes since he was 14. Yet he was unable to put away South State-cigarettes. "But I have at least begun to smoke filter cigarettes," he said humorously to See and Hear the interview. Alex O'Loughlin is an Australian actor, writer and director, who plays Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett on CBS' remake of the TV series Hawaii Five-0. He had starring roles in the films Oyster Farmer (2004) and The Back-up Plan (2010), as well as on such television series as Moonlight (2008) and Three Rivers (2009). O'Loughlin was born on 24 August 1976, in Canberra, Australia, of Irish and Scottish descent.His father is a physics and astronomy teacher in Sydney and his mother is a nurse. O'Loughlin suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder when he was a child. He enrolled at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney in 1999 and graduated in June 2002 after completing a three-year, full-time Bachelor of Dramatic Art program. O'Loughlin began working in short films and fringe theatre as a teenager in Sydney. One of his first acting jobs was an extra in a commercial, playing a Marine. After graduating from NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts), he began his career in Australian television and film productions. Some of his TV credits include roles in BlackJack: Sweet Science, Love Bytes and White Collar Blue.

Richard Treat Williams (December 1, 1951 – June 12, 2023) was an American actor, author, and aviator. Williams' accolades include nominations for two Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy, two Satellite Awards, and an Independent Spirit Award. He appeared in over 75 films and several television series. Williams' career included numerous stage roles. On June 12, 2023, Williams was involved in a motorcycle crash on Vermont Route 30, near Dorset. According to the Vermont State Police, a 2008 Honda Element in the southbound lane turned into the path of Williams' motorcycle in the northbound lane, who was unable to avoid colliding with it. Sean Cronin was born in West London to an English mother and an Irish/Welsh father. After forming rock band 'The Marionettes' in the 1980's he toured the world as their front man for 10 years (1985-1995) playing to sell out audiences with acts like Pearl Jam and Nirvana after 4 albums and world tours returned to England where he created one of London's most infamous nightclubs 'Club Wild' (1996).
