Nebahat Çehre

Biography

Hilal Nebahat Çehre is a Turkish actress, singer and model. She was elected Miss Türkiye in 1960 and represented Turkey in the World Beauty Contest. He played very different characters in many films since 1961. Between 1964 and 1968, he starred opposite Yilmaz Güney in 13 films. He worked as a singer between 1970 and 1991. His song "Büklüm Büklüm", composed by Sezen Aksu, became popular. He became known again for his roles in television series in the 2000s. Çehre, the only daughter of a family of four children, is of Laz origin on her mother's side and Georgian origin on her father's side. He lost his father at a young age, and his family immigrated to Istanbul when he was five years old. He started his education at Mimarsinan Primary School in Istanbul. She dropped out of her secondary education in Fatih. She studied at the Evening Girls' Art School for five years. After graduating from this school, she worked as a secretary in a knitting factory. In 1959, she was chosen first in the Turkey Beauty Contest organized by the Journalists Association and became Miss Turkey 1960. She represented Turkey at the Miss World Contest held in London. She worked as a photo model and model for a while. She first appeared on stage as an actor in the Children's Department of the Istanbul City Theater in 1961. In the same year, he started his acting career with the movie Wild Gülüm, directed by Ümit Utku. In 1962, she starred in the movie Aci Hayat, directed by Metin Erksan. In 1964, she starred in Osman Seden's Unforgiving Woman, Memduh Ün's "Dag Basini Duman Almis", and Nuri Akinci's Kamali Zeybek. When she was not chosen as the Beauty Queen in Turkey in 1965, she was sent to the USA to represent Turkey in the Miss Universe Contest held in Miami. She starred in 13 films between 1964 and 1968 with Yilmaz Güney, with whom she shared the leading role for the first time in Kamali Zeybek. The couple got married on January 30, 1967. Pire Nuri and Seyyit Han - The Bride of the Land were the last films they starred in together. They divorced in 1968. Çehre moved away from cinema during the sex movie craze that started in Turkish cinema in the 1970s, and after studying for two years, she worked as a singer. She received support from Zeki Müren in her stage life. After being engaged for six years, she married national basketball player Yavuz Demir in 1976. This marriage ended in divorce in 1979. Çehre, who moved away from the stage while she was married, did decoration and fashion-related work. After her divorce, she returned to stage life and continued singing until 1991. Her song Büklüm Büklüm, composed by Sezen Aksu, became popular. Çehre started acting again in 2004, appearing in the television series Haziran Gecesi. Grigori Aleksandrov

Biography

Grigori Vasilyevich Aleksandrov or Alexandrov (original family name was Mormonenko; 23 January 1903 - 16 December 1983) was a prominent Soviet film director who was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1947 and a Hero of Socialist Labor in 1973. He was awarded the Stalin Prizes for 1941 and 1950. Initially associated with Sergei Eisenstein, with whom he worked as a co-director, screenwriter and actor, Aleksandrov became a major director in his own right in the 1930s, when he directed Jolly Fellows and a string of other musical comedies starring his wife Lyubov Orlova. Though Aleksandrov remained active until his death, his musicals, amongst the first made in the Soviet Union, remain his most popular films. They rival Ivan Pyryev's films as the most effective and light-hearted showcase ever designed for Stalin-era USSR. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Kayhan Yıldızoğlu

Biography

Kayhan Yıldızoğlu (28 May 1933 - 9 March 2024) was a Turkish film and TV series actor. His father was an agricultural engineer of Circassian origin and his mother was a teacher from Crete. In 1955, he did his military service as a reserve officer. Upon his return, he became a foreign exchange commissioner at the Istanbul exchange office. While working there, she was invited to an acting audition by Muhsin Ertuğrul after completing his missing documents. When he was liked at the auditions, another era opened for Yıldızoğlu. Yıldızoğlu, who made his first film in 1966 under the guidance of Haldun Taner, generally played priest, doctor, commissioner and supporting roles in Turkish cinema. In 1969, he lived with Şener Şen in an apartment in Cihangir for 3.5 years. Yıldızoğlu has appeared in over 150 movies and also in television series. In the series Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu on Kanal D, he played a role nicknamed Yüce Majeste. Kayhan Yıldızoğlu was married to Suna Yıldızoğlu, who was also a movie actress. Yıldızoğlu died on March 9, 2024 at the age of 90 in Istanbul due to old age.

Ece Dizdar (born 23 November 1981) is a Turkish actress. Dizdar was born in Istanbul. During her childhood, her father went on missions as a submarine worker and she moved with him to different cities across Turkey and stayed in countries such as Pakistan, Belgium, and the UK. She usually studied at DoDDS American schools where she traveled. During her secondary school years, she studied musicals and dance in Belgium, and appeared on the stage by joining the children's conservatory for 2 years. After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Communication, she moved to London, completed her acting education at the ARTSED acting academy with a scholarship and started her professional acting career. Ece Dizdar translated plays such as Shopping and F… ing and Festen for Dot Theatre. She later worked as a voice actress for professional commercials and promotional works. She then continued her stage career in Turkey and England, and soon appeared in television and cinematic productions. Dizdar first became known through her role in the 2002 En Son Babalar Duyar TV series. She continued her career in TV with a role in the 2003 TV series Esir Şehrin Gözyaşları. After appearing in the TV series Hayalet in 2004, she took a break from acting. She returned to TV screens in 2011 after being cast in the series Karakol. In 2012, she played the role of Yeşim in the TV series Şubat. She then portrayed the character of Melda in the series Güneşi Beklerken and in 2015 appeared as Şevval in the series Beş Kardeş.

Jon Blake

Biography

An Australian actor who was primarily active in the 1980s. He appeared in several TV shows and films, including a leading role in Scott Hicks's Freedom (1982), before a car accident in 1986 left him severely disabled. On 1 December 1986, Blake was badly injured in a car accident while driving home after the last day of filming The Lighthorsemen in the South Australian desert. An oncoming car appeared in his path and he swerved to avoid it, crashing into a car which was parked on the side of the road. Blake was not expected to survive the accident. His only external injuries were a slight graze on his cheekbone and a cut to his temple, but he sustained permanent brain damage in the accident and was left paralysed and unable to speak. Blake died on 30 May 2011, aged 52, from complications from pneumonia.

Nelli Uvarova was born in Mažeikiai, Lithuania to a Russian father and Armenian mother. Uvarova graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography, one of the most prestigious universities throughout the film industry. In 1999, Nelly began to appear in the films, including the famous Boomer. Her debut film was Let’s fly directed by Anna Melikyan. For this role, she was awarded the prize of the international festival Rainbow and was also nominated for the Golden Mask award. The role of a charming ugly girl, (Katya) Yekaterina Pushkareva, in the TV series Not Born Beautiful (2005) became a real breakthrough in Nelly’s career and brought her national love and fame. During the broadcast of the series she had turned into a real star of Russian television. Uvarova played in TV series such as The First Circle (2006), Atlantida (TV series) (2007), Heavy Sand and feature films I Stay, M + F and some others. She played Natasha in Ex-Wife (Russian TV series) in 2013. Other television series she acted in include Tower: New People (2012).
