Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Manuela Hannelore "Ela" Weber (born 13 March 1966) is a German model, showgirl and actress. Born in Dettelbach, in 1984 Weber moved to New York City, where she started working as a spokesmodel for Playtex. In the late 1980s she moved to Italy, and after minor roles in variety shows such as Scherzi a parte and Stranamore her breakout came in 1996, when she started co-hosting alongside Paolo Bonolis, the Canale 5 quiz show Tira e molla. Among her other television appearances, between 1998 and 2000 she hosted the sport talk show Goleada, and in 2000 she hosted the awards ceremony of the FIFA World Player of the Year. In 2008 Weber participated to the Raidue reality show L'Isola dei Famosi. Weber also appeared in several films and stage plays. In 2018 she appeared as a housemate in Grande Fratello VIP, the italian adaptation of Celebrity Big Brother. Heath Miller

Biography

Heath Wallace Miller is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure in WWE under the ring name Heath Slater, and for his tenure in Impact Wrestling, under the ring name Heath. After debuting in 2004, Miller signed to WWE in 2006 and competed in its developmental territories Deep South Wrestling (DSW) and Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) before appearing on the first season of NXT in 2010. He debuted on WWE's main roster later that year as a member of The Nexus, becoming a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion with fellow Nexus member Justin Gabriel in the process. In 2016, he began a storyline which saw him form a tag team with Rhyno, leading the two to become the inaugural WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. He is the first wrestler to have won both the SmackDown and Raw Tag Team Championships.[a] He was released from WWE in April 2020, ending a 14-year tenure with the company. Miller signed with Impact Wrestling later that year. He would reunite with former tag team partner Rhino and win the Impact World Tag Team Championship in 2022. Overall, Miller is a five-time tag team champion between WWE and Impact.

Michael Stephen Manna is an American professional wrestler and podcaster, better known by the ring name Stevie Richards. He currently works for Lucha Libre USA and previously wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has also made appearances for Ring Of Honor (ROH). He has held over 40 titles in his career, including the WWE Hardcore Championship 21 times, the ECW World Tag Team Championship twice and the NWA National Heavyweight Championship once. He is the current (and first) Extreme Rising World Champion.

He was also a prolific voiceover artist, and provided the voices of Meadowlark Lemon in the animated TV version of The Harlem Globetrotters, Jazz the Autobot in The Transformers, the title character in Hong Kong Phooey, and Scat Cat in the 1970 film The Aristocats. Pedro Sienna

From Wikipedia Pedro Sienna (13 May 1893—20 March 1972) was a Chilean playwright, poet, journalist, art critic and theatre and movie actor who is also remembered as one of his country's pioneering directors in the early years of silent film. A native of San Fernando, Pedro Pérez Cordero used the professional nom de plume Pedro Sienna. He briefly studied at the Liceo Neandro Schilling at his birthplace, and completed his secondary studies at the Instituto Nacional General José Miguel Carrera in Santiago. He began his association with film by directing and starring in El Hombre de acero (1917) and Los Payasos se van (1921). In 1925, he wrote, directed and starred in the film considered a classic of Chilean silent cinema, El Húsar de la muerte (The Death Hussar). As a highly respected author, he wrote Huecas en la Sombra, La Caverna de los Murciélagos, Recuerdos del Soldado Desconocido, Memorias de la Vida del Teatro and the biographical La vida pintoresca de Arturo Bührle. On 27 December 1966, at the age of 73, Pedro Sienna was awarded the country's national art prize, Premio Nacional de Arte de Chile. He died in Santiago on 20th March 1972. He was 78.

Pier Paolo Capponi (9 June 1938 – 15 February 2018) was an Italian actor and screenwriter. Born in Subiaco, after his studies Capponi attended a theater school and later was chosen by director Vittorio De Seta for an important role in Un uomo a metà. His film career was divided equally between auteur films (with, among others, Paolo e Vittorio Taviani, Valerio Zurlini, Gérard Corbiau, Francesco Rosi and Nelo Risi) and genre films, in which he was sometimes credited as Norman Clark. On the big screen with some regularity for a decade, after 1977 Capponi focused his appearances on TV series and on stage. Estanislao Shilinsky Bachanska (August 10, 1911 in Baisogala, Lithuania — September 27, 1985 in Mexico City) was a Mexican comedian and the half of the 1940—1970 comedy duo Manolín y Shilinsky with Manuel Palacios Sierra. His career started in the carpa circuit when he joined the Carpa Valentina. In 1929 he coached Mario Moreno and helped him improve his Cantinflas character. He later married Olga Subarev, a daughter of the Russian family who owned the carpa, while Cantinflas married her sister Valentina Ivanova who the carpa was named after.

He has also appeared in Law & Order, Star Trek: The Next Generation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In film he has been seen in The American Astronaut, Illuminata, Donnie Brasco, and Carlito's Way. His voice work includes Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Sisto has acted in the New York Shakespeare Festival at the Delacorte Theater. In 1996 he received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his acting in the play Quills. He was also a prolific singer-songwriter who could play as many as 100 musical instruments, some simultaneously. His career, beginning in 1934, spanned four decades, including a regular role on CBS-TV's Petticoat Junction in the 1960s.
