Minako, a Tokyo housewife, is depressed that everyone has an active life outside the home except her. Taking her inspiration from TV reports of a hitch-hiking chainsaw murderer, Minako decides to spice up her life by finding a young lover and running off with him by faking her kidnapping. While her family frets and worries, Minako has a wonderful time. Eventually, though, she decides it's time to go back to her family. Her lover, however, isn't ready for the fun to end, and Minako's fake kidnapping soon becomes all too real.

After their airplane crashes behind enemy lines, four soldiers must survive and try to find a way back to their battalion. However, when they come across a local peasant girl the horrors of war quickly become apparent.

This family-friendly miniseries tells the tale of a young boy who is transported from the present to WWII-era England, where he attempts to reorder events and change history.

Routinely exploited by her wicked stepmother, the downtrodden Samantha Montgomery is excited about the prospect of meeting her Internet beau at the school's Halloween dance.

A young boy Lukram, hailing from the state of Manipur, situated in the Northeastern part of the country, is a football enthusiast and enrols in a Lucknow-based college to realise his dream of playing for the Indian national team, but his dreams start to crumble when he is subjected to blatant racism and zonal politics that is prevalent in this sport’s team-selection process.

Brokeback Mountain is a 2005 romantic drama film directed by Ang Lee and based on a short story by Annie Proulx. It has been adapted for the screen by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry. Offering a study in yearning, this story is about love and loss, unrealized dreams, and lives wasted by denying passion and accepting convention. Eventually, the two formed a friendship, but none of them was able to verbalize it. One night, the relationship between Ennis and Jack turned physical, and the characters agreed that what happens on Brokeback Mountain stays there. They decided that once the summer is over, they will never see each other again. They both had women to marry, but ultimately, neither could forget that magical summer they spent together. Brokeback Mountain shows everything that love has: the thrill of the first kiss, the passion of the first physical contact, the jealousy, the pain of loss. One wants to believe in such pure love, one wants to live and breathe it. But, for some reason, the film leaves behind completely different emotions. And it's not even about the actors' play or the work of the director – they all did well. The point is, probably, that the film is too lifelike. Brokeback Mountain is a story about one love and how to keep it alive in our difficult world. And the final shots – the endless green field – is a symbol of the endless ever-flowering love that exists outside the trailer of everyday life.

This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

Beyond the Last Frontier was the first entry in Republic's "John Paul Revere" western series. Journeyman actor Eddie Dew stars as Revere, a Texas Ranger who goes undercover to smash an outlaw gang. Meanwhile, the villains install an informer amongst the Rangers, meaning that Revere will have to take care of this guy before he can complete his assignment. While Eddie Dew was OK in the lead, his thunder was stolen by the young actor cast as "Trigger Dolan"-future superstar Robert Mitchum. The plot was a bit too complicated for a film of this nature, thus future John Paul Revere installments were a bit easier to follow.
