Taylor Russell McKenzie (born July 18, 1994) is a Canadian actress. Her accolades include a Gotham Award, a Marcello Mastroianni Award from the Venice film festival and nominations for two Black Reel Awards, an Independent Spirit Award and a Saturn Award. In television, Russell has starred as Judy Robinson in the Netflix science fiction series Lost in Space (2018–2021). Her film roles include playing Emily in the critically acclaimed drama Waves (2019), the romantic drama Words on Bathroom Walls (2020), the horror franchise Escape Room (2019–2021), and the romantic horror Bones and All (2022), for which she won the Marcello Mastroianni Award.

Dixie Carter

Biography

Dixie Virginia Carter (May 25, 1939 – April 10, 2010) was an American actress. She starred as Julia Sugarbaker on the sitcom Designing Women (1986–1993) and as Randi King on the drama series Family Law (1999–2002). She was nominated for the 2007 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Gloria Hodge on Desperate Housewives (2006–2007). Carter made her professional stage debut in a Memphis production of the musical Carousel in 1960 and made her Broadway debut in the 1974 musical Sextet. After appearing for two years as District Attorney Brandy Henderson on the CBS soap The Edge of Night (1974–1976), she starred in the 1976 Broadway revival of the musical Pal Joey. Her other television roles included the sitcoms On Our Own (1977–1978), Filthy Rich (1982–1983) and Diff'rent Strokes (1984–1985). She returned to Broadway to play Maria Callas in the play Master Class in 1997 and to play Mrs. Meers in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2004. She was married to actor Hal Holbrook, her third husband, from 1984 til her death. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Her starring roles include her Golden Globe Award-winning portrayal of the title character in Tess and her roles in two erotic films (Stay As You Are and Cat People), as well as parts in Wim Wenders' films The Wrong Move; Paris, Texas; and Faraway, So Close!. Sakura Ando

Biography

With parents in the show business perhaps it is not surprising that Sakura Ando would become an actress and, moreover, also end up marrying an actor. She was born to actor/director Okuda Eiji and celebrity Kazu Ando on 18.02.1986. Her great grandfather was prime minister Tsuyoshi. Her older sister is director Ando Momoko. She saw her father on stage at age five and decided to become an actress while in second grade. She was often ill as a child. Her disease made her dizzy, lose her balance and more throughout her childhood. Her brain would shut down. She would opt for her mother's maiden surname for her professional career. Sono Sion picked her for his film Love Exposure and gave her a major start on the big screen. She won an award as the Best Supporting Actress for her work in it at the 31st Yokohama Film Festival. Earlier her father cast her in his film Kaze No Sotogawa ('Outside The Wind') alongside her mother and sister. She has since appeared in multiple movies and serials and won several more awards. She married actor Emoto Tasuku in 2012. She had met him on a train in 2008 and had obtained her father's permission to date and marry. She was a boxer in 100 Yen Love, which was fortunate since she had practiced boxing when she was fourteen-years-old. She gave birth to her first child, a girl, in 2017. She won the award for Best Actress at the 42nd Japan Academy Prize for her work on 2018's Shoplifters. By then she was considered one of several top young actresses in Japan next to Yu Aoi, Miyazaki Aoi and perhaps Aso Kumiko. Interestingly, she had earlier decided to retire and focus on raising her child. She is a graduate of Gakushuin Women's College.

Jiří Menzel (Czech: [ˈjɪr̝iː ˈmɛntsl̩] was a Czech film director, theatre director, actor, and screenwriter. His films often combine a humanistic view of the world with sarcasm and provocative cinematography. Some of these films are adapted from works by Czech writers such as Bohumil Hrabal and Vladislav Vančura. Menzel, a member of the Czech New Wave, became internationally famous in 1967, when his first feature film, Closely Watched Trains, won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His controversial film Larks on a String was filmed in 1969, but was initially banned by the Czechoslovakian government. It was finally released in 1990 after the fall of the Communist regime. The film won the Golden Bear at the 40th Berlin International Film Festival. Menzel was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film again in 1986 with his dark comedy My Sweet Little Village. In 1987, he was a member of the jury at the 37th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1989 he was a member of the jury at the 16th Moscow International Film Festival. In 1995 he was a member of the jury at the 19th Moscow International Film Festival. He would be conferred with IIFA Lifetime Achievement Award in November 2013.

Omero Mumba was born in Dublin, Ireland on July 2nd 1989 and is the younger brother of Irish Actress and R&B superstar Samantha Mumba. Already Omero is confidently following in his big sister's footsteps, having appeared on stage with her many times. Omero also performed his rap music on their single "The Boy". On a UK TV appearance in January 2001, Samantha predicted that Omero would be a big star, and there's every indication that she's right. Omero had great fun making his first film The Time Machine (2002), and enjoyed every minute. After filming was completed he appeared in the US with Samantha and NSync. Having recently signed a recording contract himself, Omero also hopes to have time to 'do some of his own stuff' too.

Álex Perea was born on September 27, 1989 in Mexico City. He began his career making commercials. In 2000 he played Quique García Dávila in the telenovela "Todo por amor" by Argos Comunicación for TV Azteca. In 2003, he got the opportunity to star in the movie "Zurdo", alongside Eugenio Derbez, under the direction of Carlos Salcés, where he plays a child who is passionate about playing marbles. For which he obtained the prize of the silver Goddesses as a masculine revelation. In that same year, they gave him opportunities to work in children's soap operas such as De few, few fleas and Amy, the girl with the blue backpack, as well as participating in the series "Hospital el país" and "S.O.S.: Sexo y otros secretos" . In 2004 he filmed the short film "Smee", together with Martha Mariana Castro and her sister Danny Perea. In 2008, he resumed acting on the big screen, participating in the movie "Arráncame la vida." For 2009 Alex participates in the great Mexican series "Mujeres asesinas" in its second season in the chapter "Las Garrido Codiciosas" as "el Negro".

Tara Sutaria is an Indian actress, singer, and dancer who works in Hindi films and television. She started her television career as a child artist in 2010 with Disney India's Big Bada Boom and went on to star in the channel's sitcoms The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir (2012) and Oye Jassie (2013). In 2019, Sutaria ventured into films by playing a college student in the teen drama Student of the Year 2, for which she won Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut and was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
