Han Hyo-joo
Biography
Han Hyo-Joo (한효주) was born on February 22, 1987 in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. Her mother worked as an elementary school teacher before becoming an inspector for public schools and her father worked in the military. As a child, Han Hyo-Joo was good in sports and enjoyed track & field. In her sophomore year of high school, Han Hyo-Ju moved to Seoul and attended Bulgok High School. Although her father, conservative & strict, opposed her move to Seoul she was able to go forth with her wishes. After high school, Han Hyo-Joo majored in theatre at Dongguk University. According to Han Hyo-Ju, her personality fits her blood type-A classification: calm, doesn't get angry easily, & able to endure without a lot of expression. In 2003, Han Hyo-Ju won the grand prize for the Miss Bing-geure contest, which attracted the attention from the entertainment world (Bing-geure is a Korean food company). In 2005, Han Hyo-Ju received her first acting roles in the MBC sitcom “Nonstop 5” and the movie “My Boss, My Teacher”. Her debut performances went largely unnoticed. In 2006 Han Hyo-Ju received her first leading role in the KBS2 drama “Spring Waltz”. Director Yun Seok-Ho of “Spring Waltz” stated that he first got the idea to cast Han Hyo-Joo after browsing the Internet and coming across her picture. Yun Seok-Ho felt she still held the purity of a child and a sense of mysteriousness which suited her character well. Han Hyo-Joo also stated that working on “Spring Waltz” was difficult, largely due to her inexperience in acting. Han Hyo-Joo's first leading performance in a feature film came with the 2006 independent film “Ad Lib Night,” helmed by well-regarded director Lee Yoon-Ki. Han Hyo-Joo's experience working on “Ad Lib Night” went far more smoothly than her first leading role in a drama series. Han Hyo-Joo recalled that the one month shoot seemed to zoom by and wished it could have lasted longer. Her performance was enthusiastically received by critics and Han Hyo-Joo received “Best Actress” awards from the 26th Korean Movie Critics Organization and the 20th Singapore International Film Festival. Han Hyo-Joo's commercial break-out role came with her performance in the popular 2009 SBS drama series “Brilliant Legacy,” alongside actor/singer Lee Seung-Ki. The drama series, mixing a healthy dose of Korean melodrama with a Charles Dickens' “Great Expectations” like storyline, captured the attention of Koreans throughout the summer of 2009. “Brilliant Legacy”regularly received ratings in excess of 40% and catapulted Han Hyo-Joo as one of the more popular young actresses in Korea. With her popularity, media reports and gossip magazines began to speculate on who Han Hyo-Joo was dating. In 2010, Han Hyo-Joo branched out of her comfort zone and took the lead role in the MBC historical drama series “Dong Yi”.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On 31 October 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Vadim Jean (born Bristol, 9 December 1963) is an award-winning English film director, producer, and executive producer.
After graduating with a degree in History from Warwick University, he found work on Mike Figgis' Stormy Monday, before establishing his own production company in 1989 covering a wide variety of subjects, from sport to corporate videos.
He first came to public attention as a director when Leon the Pig Farmer, won him the FIPRESCI International Critics' Prize at the 1992 Venice Film Festival, the Best Newcomer award from the London Critics' Circle, the Most Promising Newcomer at the Evening Standard British Film Awards, and the Chaplin Award for the best first feature from the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
He repeated his critical success in 1999 when One More Kiss won the Audience Award at the Atlantic Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Film at the Emden International Film Festival.
His Hollywood debut was Jiminy Glick in Lalawood Glick in Lalawood starring Martin Short as his celebrity interviewing alter-ego, produced by Gold Circle films. The film also features Steve Martin and Kurt Russell as themselves. It was selected as the closing gala at the 2004 Toronto film festival.
Most recently he directed In the Land of the Free... a feature documentary narrated by Samuel L Jackson. It tells the story of three men known as the Angola 3 who between them have spent over a Century in solitary confinement in the Louisiana State penitentiary. It was nominated best documentary at the 2011 London Evening Standard British Film Awards. (London Evening Standard 5th January 2011).

Deragh Campbell (born 4 May, 1989; Toronto) is a Canadian actress, director and screenwriter. She is known for her acclaimed performances in independent Canadian cinema. Campbell has won accolades for her work, including the Jay Scott Prize from the Toronto Film Critics Association and Best Actress in a Canadian Film from the Vancouver Film Critics Circle.
Her collaborations with filmmaker Sofia Bohdanowicz: Never Eat Alone (2016), Veslemøy's Song (2018), MS Slavic 7 (2019), and Point and Line to Plane (2020) — have screened at film festivals internationally. She has also featured in two of Kazik Radwanski's films, How Heavy This Hammer (2015) and Anne at 13,000 Ft. (2019), both of which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Philip Roth (July 6, 1930 – July 15, 2002) was an American television and film actor.
Roth appeared in over twenty television shows and movies beginning in 1961 with a small role in an episode of Tallahassee 7000. He had roles in several notable films of the early 1970s, such as What's Up, Doc? where he played 'Mr Jones', Catch-22 as 'Doctor', One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as 'Woolsey', and Harry and Tonto as 'Vegas Gambler'. He also had roles in numerous smaller films as well as several TV shows such as The Monkees as 'Howard Needleman,' Tales from the Dark Side as 'Sam Larchmont/Wilson Farber' as well as Cagney and Lacey as 'Sullivan'.

Cheryl Hall (born 23 July 1950, London) is a British actress. She is best known for playing the role of Shirley, the girlfriend of Wolfie Smith in the British sitcom Citizen Smith. She also appeared in Dear Mother...Love Albert playing Rodney Bewes' screen girlfriend and as a clippy in the On the Buses episode The Epidemic. She appeared in the Doctor Who story Carnival of Monsters (1973)[2] (and had, a couple of years earlier, been shortlisted for the part of the Doctor's companion Jo Grant before the part went to actress Katy Manning), and as an inmate in one episode of Within These Walls (1974) and was David Jason's love interest in the ITV sitcom Lucky Feller. She also had a small role in EastEnders. Film appearances included the Avarice segment of The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins and the all-star pop comedy Three for All(1975). Hall was the Labour Party parliamentary candidate for Canterbury in the 1997 General Election. She also served as a member of Kent County Council, holding the position of Leader of the Labour group for a period. She still acts occasionally, most recently in The Bill (2005). Harry O. Hoyt (6 August 1885 - 29 July 1961) was an American screenwriter and film director whose career began in the silent era. His 1925 film The Lost World, based on the book by Arthur Conan Doyle, is notable as a pioneering effort in the use of stop-motion animation. He was a brother of actor Arthur Hoyt who appeared in The Lost World.

Jean Arthur

Jean Arthur (October 17, 1900 – June 19, 1991) was an American actress and a major film star of the 1930s and 1940s. She remains arguably the epitome of the female screwball comedy actress. As James Harvey wrote in his recounting of the era, "No one was more closely identified with the screwball comedy than Jean Arthur. So much was she part of it, so much was her star personality defined by it, that the screwball style itself seems almost unimaginable without her." Arthur has been called "the quintessential comedic leading lady."
Arthur is best known for her feature roles in three Frank Capra films: Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936), You Can't Take It With You (1938), and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), films that championed the everyday heroine. Her last performance was the memorable—and distinctly non–comedic—role as the rancher's wife in George Stevens' Shane (1953).
Arthur was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1944 for her performance in The More the Merrier (1943).

Jordan began his career while completing his law degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, when Spike Lee cast him as Anthony opposite Josh Brolin in his 2013 film "Oldboy." In 2015, Jordan worked with Will Ferrell in Etan Cohen's film "Get Hard." In 2017, he played real life murderer David Gerard on the Investigation Discovery Channel's hit television show "Your Worst Nightmare." Also in 2017, Jordan was cast by Victor Salva as Kenny Brandon in Jeepers Creepers 3, the third installment of the Jeepers Creepers franchise.

Anita Louise (born January 9, 1915) was an American actress.
She made her acting debut on Broadway at the age of six, and within a year was appearing regularly in Hollywood films. By her late teens she was being cast in leading and supporting roles in major productions. As her stature in Hollywood grew, she was named as a WAMPAS Baby Star.
Among her film successes were Madame Du Barry, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Story of Louis Pasteur, Anthony Adverse, Marie Antoinette, The Sisters, and The Little Princess.
By the 1940s, Louise was reduced to minor roles and acted very infrequently until the advent of television in the 1950s provided her with further opportunities. In middle age she played one of her most widely seen roles as the gentle mother on My Friend Flicka.
