Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Glynnis O'Connor

Biography

Glynnis O'Connor (born November 19, 1955) is an American actress, perhaps best-known for her work in the mid-1970s, including her lead actress roles in the TV version of Our Town and the films Ode to Billy Joe and Jeremy, all of which co-starred Robby Benson. O'Connor was born in New York City, the daughter of stage, film and TV actress Lenka Peterson and Daniel O'Connor, a film producer. She appeared in the 1976 tearjerker, the John Travolta - Diana Hyland feature film, The Boy in the Plastic Bubble. As of the late 1990s and continuing into 2004, she has had a recurring role as Anne Paulsen on Law & Order. In 2007, she starred in the independent feature film "P.J.", co-starring John Heard, Vincent Pastore and Robert Picardo, and is also appearing in the film Our Last Days as Children. One of O'Connor's four brothers is director Brian O'Connor. She is presently married to Douglas Stern and has two daughters, Lindsay and Hana Stern.

Johnson was born in Hastings, Minnesota and attended California State University, Long Beach. He has directed and co-written the two comic book based films Daredevil and Ghost Rider. His early writing credits are for the film Grumpy Old Men and its sequel Grumpier Old Men. He is often given credit for writing the screenplay for the Marvel film Elektra, but he only produced an earlier draft not used for the finished film. He was writing the pilot for the TV adaptation of Preacher for HBO, however as of August 26, 2008 the project had been canceled by the new head of HBO. John Novak

John Novak (born September 9, 1955 in Caracas, Venezuela) is an actor and anime voice actor who frequently does voice work for the Ocean Group based in Vancouver, Canada. He has also starred in the Wishmaster sequels Wishmaster 3: Beyond The Gates Of Hell, and Wishmaster; The Prophecy Fulfilled replacing Andrew Divoff as The Djinn. He appeared twice in the TV series Sliders as a shyster lawyer, Ross J. Kelly. He most recently starred as the Sheriff in Bloodrayne 2: Deliverance. Novak is probably best known, in Canada at least, from Kokanee beer commercials, as he plays the Park Ranger who is constantly trying to prevent the Kokanee Sasquatch from stealing the beer. Clayton Rohner

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Clayton Rohner (born August 5, 1957) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Rick Morehouse in the 1985 comedy movie Just One of the Guys. He also starred in the 1986 film Modern Girls as Clifford and Bruno X. He is a main character in the 1994 film Caroline at Midnight. Other credits include the films April Fool's Day, Destroyer and The Relic. Clayton starred in the short-lived science fiction series E.A.R.T.H. Force and G vs E. He starred in the 2005 film role in Formosa. Clayton's most recent film role is in the 2006 film Trespassers. His most recent TV role was Jared Pryor in the short-lived ABC midseason replacement Day Break. Rohner starred on the TV series Murder One as Detective Vince Biggio from 1996 to 1997. His television guest appearances include Star Trek: The Next Generation as Admiral Jameson in the season 1 episode "Too Short a Season", Beverly Hills, 90210, Charmed, Crossing Jordan, Angel, and Weeds. He also appeared in the award-winning miniseries Into the West. Rohner was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Whitman college.

Ajith Kumar is an Indian film actor who works mainly in Tamil cinema. In addition to his acting, Ajith Kumar in a sabbatical, participated in the 2004 British Formula 3 season as a Formula Two racing driver and was ranked the third best motor car driver in India at his peak. He began his career as a supporting actor in a Telugu film before gaining critical recognition in the Tamil thriller Aasai (1995). A succession of high-grossing films followed where Ajith was usually depicted as a romantic hero, with Kadhal Kottai (1996) and Kadhal Mannan (1998) being the most notable. He later forayed into method acting, as seen in Vaali (1999), Mugavaree (2000), Kandukondain Kandukondain (2000) and Citizen (2001) before establishing himself as an action hero with popular films including Amarkalam (1999), Dheena (2001), Villain (2002), Varalaru (2006) and Billa (2007). He has won three Filmfare Best Actor Awards in Tamil, all for films which showcased him in multiple roles. In 2014, Ajith Kumar was listed in Forbes India's Top 100 Celebrities.

Laverne Scott Caldwell (born April 17, 1950) is an American actress known for her role as Rose on Lost. Caldwell, who earned a degree in Theater Arts and Communications from Loyola University Chicago, has an extensive background in feature films, television and theater. Her film credits include Mystery Alaska, Waiting to Exhale, The Net, The Fugitive, Dutch and Without a Trace. Caldwell had recurring roles on Judging Amy, and has guest-starred in JAG, Chicago Hope, City of Angels and Promised Land, all on CBS. Her additional television credits include The Practice, The Division, Any Day Now, Murder One, The Pretender, Grace Under Fire, Melrose Place, Lois and Clark, ER, Nip/Tuck, L.A. Law, Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case, Saving Grace, State of Mind, and The Cosby Show. On Broadway, Caldwell won a 1988 Tony Award for her role in Joe Turner's Come and Gone. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Mila Parély is a French actress best known for the roles of Belle's sister in Jean Cocteau's La Belle et la Bête and as Geneviève in La Règle du jeu. She gave up acting in the late 1950s in order to take care of her race-car driving husband, who had been injured in an accident. She also worked with such notable directors as Max Ophüls, Robert Bresson, Fritz Lang and G.W. Pabst. She returned to acting briefly in the late 1980s. Ed Herlihy

Biography

Ed Herlihy was a prominent American radio and television announcer. He was well-known for his distinctive voice and as the announcer for NBC's "The Kraft Music Hall" during the 1940s and 1950s. He was also the announcer for numerous commercials and shows, including The Jack Parr Tonight Show. Additionally, Herlihy appeared in bit parts in several movies and television shows like Pee Wee's Big Adventure. As Mr. Buxton, he was none too pleased when Pee-wee broke into his mansion and accused his son Francis of stealing his bike. Pee-wee gets his revenge by giving the upset dad a stick of spicy gum. Herlihy died of natural causes in 1999 at 89.

William Severn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia William Severn (Los Angeles, 17 January 1938 – Ventura County, 26 March 1983) was an American child screen actor. He was born William Churchill Roosevelt Severn, the son of Dr. Clifford Brill Severn (1890-1981) and his South African wife Rachel Malherbe (1897-1984). His parents had emigrated from South Africa to Los Angeles before he was born. He had seven siblings who were all child actors: Venetia Severn, Clifford Severn, Yvonne Severn, Raymond Severn, Ernest Severn, Christopher Severn and Winston Severn. As an adult, he was a world-known evangelist, based in Ventura, California. His ministry took him and his family abroad, including Indonesia during the 1965 revolution, Israel, and the UK. He broadcast in the USA by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. He died in 1983 from a sudden heart attack at the age of only 45. He was laid to rest in Pierce Brothers-Valley Oaks Memorial Park, in Westlake Village, California, beside his mother. William Severn was known in his early films as 'Little Billy Severn'. He made his first film appearance as Billy in Eagle Squadron, but his biggest role was as Peter Humphreys in Journey for Margaret.
