Asser Ashraf Fouad Yassin is an Egyptian actor, writer and film producer. He has been awarded Best Actor for several of his works. Yassin began his career on the stage of the American University in Cairo spotted by Director Khairy Beshara to play his first role on TV in Qalb Habiba in 2006, followed by the blockbuster The Yacoubian Building in 2007. His first major film release was Zay El Naharda (2008) where he was praised for his supporting role, playing the character of a drug addict. In the same year, Yassin played a leading role in the movie "El Waad" a.k.a. The Promise, facing the legendary actor and super star Mahmoud Yassin. In 2010, Yassin played the leading role in a Daoud Abdel Sayed movie Messages from the Sea, for which he was awarded Best Actor at the Carthage Film Festival, and Malmö Arab Film Festival. He was also awarded Best Actor for his latest release Aswar El Qamar (2015) by The Tetouan International Mediterranean Film Festival.

Ilia Volok

Biography

Ilia Volok (Ukrainian: Ілля Волох; born November 1, 1965) is a Soviet-born actor. He has appeared in over 90 films, television shows, and video games. Volok has appeared in more than 90 films and television programs. He starred as Vladimir Krasin in Air Force One and portrayed Master Org in Power Rangers Wild Force. Additionally, he has had recurring roles in General Hospital and The Young and the Restless. He guest starred in an episode of Friends in which reference was made to the Air Force Onewithout actually mentioning him as one of its actors. Volok frequently performs on stage. He co-wrote, co-created, and starred as the title character in the comedy play Fakov in America. He plays a leading part in Cat's Paw, an Actors Studio project. The character Vladimir Kamarivsky in theElectronic Arts video game Battlefield 3 is modeled after and voiced by Volok.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. William B. Davidson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia William B. Davidson (June 16, 1888 – September 28, 1947) was an American film actor. Davidson attended Columbia University where he played football. He became a popular football star. This fame eventually led to his foray into motion pictures after he had spent some time as a lawyer. He started in films in 1914 with Vitagraph and supported well known stage and film actresses such as Ethel Barrymore, Mabel Taliaferro, Charlotte Walker, Olga Petrova, Viola Dana, June Caprice, Edna Goodrich, and Mae West. He appeared in 318 films between 1915 and 1949. He was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and died in Santa Monica, California. His first Hollywood film was For the Honor of the Crew. Afterward, he appeared in many films, his best-known role was perhaps the Ship's captain in The Most Dangerous Game. He remained in show business until his sudden death after surgery in 1947.

Mohanlal Vishwanathan Nair known mononymously as Mohanlal is an Indian actor, producer and singer who is well known for his versatile and natural acting in Indian cinema. He made his acting debut in the unreleased movie Thiranottam (1978), which was followed by a role as the lead antagonist in his first release Manjil Virinja Pookkal in 1980, his onscreen debut. Antagonistic parts in several movies followed before Mohanlal established himself as a lead actor playing a wide variety of character types in comedy and action films amongst others. He was labelled a superstar of Malayalam cinema in 1986 after the success of Rajavinte Makan, in which he played an underworld don. Mohanlal became a film producer with the 1990 musical hit His Highness Abdullah and has also acted in a number of Tamil and Bollywood films. Of these, his notable roles were in Iruvar, directed by Mani Ratnam, and Company, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. As well as being an actor and producer, Mohanlal also owns businesses involved in film distribution, restaurants and packaged spices. Mohanlal is regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema and is a cultural icon in the Indian state of Kerala, where he was elected its most popular individual in a 2006 online poll conducted by CNN-IBN on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Kerala's formation. In 2001, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, for his contributions to Indian cinema. He has won four Indian National Film Awards — two Best Actor Awards, one Special Jury Award for acting, and one Award for Best Film as producer along with six Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor. In 2009, he became the first actor to be given the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army of India and in 2010 received an honorary doctorate from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala.

Cheenu Mohan

Biography

Cheenu Mohan was an Indian film actor who appeared in Tamil language films. He acted in films including Thalapathi (1991) and Iraivi (2016). He died on 27 December 2018 due to cardiac arrest. Cheenu Mohan began his career as an actor in the late 1980s, portraying small roles in Varusham Padhinaaru (1989) and Mani Ratnam's Anjali (1990) and Thalapathi (1991). After quitting his job in 2001, Cheenu Mohan then went on to portray the lead role in plays directed by Crazy Mohan and Maadhu Balaji. His involvement in theatre and his reluctance to move into television roles, meant that roles in the film industry had evaded him. He made a comeback by portraying a supporting role in Karthik Subbaraj's multi-starrer Iraivi (2016). Featuring as the antiques dealer John, who tries to hold together a breaking family, Cheenu Mohan received critical acclaim for his work in the film. A critic called his performance "fantastic in the melodramatic scenes". Appreciation for his performance in the film meant that he was later selected to feature in Manikandan's Aandavan Kattalai (2016) and Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai (2017).

Anitra Ford (born 1942) is an American actress. Ford was born in California. She was a model on The Price Is Right from its beginning in 1972 until the last days of 1976. She was replaced by Holly Hallstrom. Ford also appeared in the opening scene of The Longest Yard as Melissa, the girlfriend of Burt Reynolds' character, Paul Crewe. Anitra Ford was a popular fashion model on the West Coast in the 1960s—also modeling in New York. Her exotic looks paved the way for more diversity in the modeling industry than the classic looks of that era. Before becoming a model, she acted on the stage from an early age. In the 1970s, her modeling career led to acting in television and film. Ford's credits include the cult, B-movies: The Big Bird Cage, The Invasion of the Bee Girls (aka "Graveyard Tramps") and Messiah of Evil. Often camp and comedic, Anitra Ford garnered roles of emancipated women who were comfortable with their sexuality. Anitra Ford's television credits include: S.W.A.T., Banacek, The Streets of San Francisco, The Odd Couple, Love American Style, Starsky and Hutch, Baretta, Columbo and Mannix, and played the renegade Amazon in the TV movie "Wonder Woman" starring Cathy Lee Crosby.' Although she has made many appearances on both screen and stage, Manning is best known for her part as the companion Jo Grant in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who. Manning initially played the role regularly from 1971 to 1973 but also reprised the role in the Doctor Who spin-off The 'Sarah Jane Adventures' in 2010, and 'Power Of The Doctor' in 2022. As well as many roles in TV and in film, most notably as Barry, the Muslim convert in Chris Morris's feature debut Four Lions for which he was nominated for Best British Comedy Performance in Film at the British Comedy Awards 2011, he has worked extensively in theatre, most recently opposite Sir Antony Sher as Dr Harry Hyman in Arthur Miller's Broken Glass at the Tricycle Theatre, for which he won the 2011 Whatsonstage Theatregoers' Choice Award as Best Supporting Actor. Nigel played Mugsy opposite Ray Winstone and Phil Daniels in the original 1995 National Theatre production of Patrick Marber’s Dealer's Choice; Max in The Real Thing by Tom Stoppard which won three Tonys on Broadway in 2000; Ariel in the 2004 Olivier award winning National Theatre production of Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman, with Jim Broadbent and David Tennant; Nathan Detroit in Michael Grandage’s Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre in 2005, and Lenny in Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming with Ken Cranham and Danny Dyer at the Almeida Theatre in 2009.
