Cillian Murphy

Biography

Cillian Murphy (born 25 May 1976) is an Irish actor. He made his professional debut in Enda Walsh's 1996 play Disco Pigs, a role he later reprised in the 2001 screen adaptation. His early notable film credits include the horror film 28 Days Later (2002), the dark comedy Intermission (2003), the thriller Red Eye (2005), the Irish war drama The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006), and the science fiction thriller Sunshine (2007). He played a transgender Irish woman in the comedy-drama Breakfast on Pluto (2005), which earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination. Murphy began collaborating with filmmaker Christopher Nolan in 2005, playing Dr. Jonathan Crane / Scarecrow in The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005–2012) as well as appearing in Inception (2010) and Dunkirk (2017) and portraying the lead role of J. Robert Oppenheimer in the biographical epic Oppenheimer (2023). By the year 2023, Murphy has already worked with Nolan for around 20 years and six films. He also gained prominence for his role as Tommy Shelby in the BBC period drama series Peaky Blinders (2013–2022) and for starring in the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II (2020). In 2011, Murphy won the Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Actor and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for the one-man play Misterman. In 2020, The Irish Times named him one of the greatest Irish film actors.

Michael Bowen (born June 21, 1953) is an American actor. Films he has appeared in include Jackie Brown, Magnolia, and Less Than Zero. Bowen also had a recurring role as Danny Pickett on the ABC television series, Lost. Bowen (also credited as Michael Bowen Jr.) was born to actress Sonia Sorel (1921–2004) and Beat painter Michael Bowen. He is half-brother to Robert and Keith Carradine. Jeremy Lindsay Taylor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (born Sydney, 19 September 1973) is an Australian actor. He finished his education at Newington College in 1991 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in drama and sociology, from the University of Newcastle. He has an older brother, Mark, and an older sister, Pip. Jeremy is very close to his family. He is known for his long-running role as Kurt Peterson in Heartbreak High. Since then he has appeared in Something in the Air, McLeod's Daughters, Stingers and Blue Heelers. In 2006, he guest-starred in the Doctor Who audio adventure The Reaping. Taylor appeared in the feature films Tom White and Em4Jay and Bad Bush. His theatre credits include the Melbourne Theatre Company's Take Me Out. Taylor joined the cast of Canal Road in Series 1, Episode 9 as Cain Harvey in 2008. In 2009, he appeared the UK.TV mini-series False Witness. In 2007, Taylor co-starred with Lisa McCune, Ian Stenlake, Saskia Burmeister, John Batchelor, Matt Holmes, Jay Ryan, Kristian Schmid, Kirsty Lee Allan, and David Lyons in the hit Australian drama Sea Patrol. Hers remains the shortest acting performance in a film to win an Oscar. In her winning role in the 1976 film Network, she was on screen for five minutes and forty seconds. She also received an Emmy nomination for her role in The Dain Curse. Straight can also be recognized as Dr. Lesh in Poltergeist. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Kevin Short (sometimes known as Kevin Williams) is an actor, writer, director, producer and musician. He grew up in Greater Manchester, gaining his first professional job, and his Equity card, at the age of fourteen. He played 'Alan Platt' in Granada Television's 'Coronation Street'. This appearance led to training at Jepson College of Dance and Drama in Oldham, Lancashire, and later, to his training in weekly Repertory at The Coliseum Theatre, in Oldham. Kevin combined a highly successful early performing career with an equally successful writing/directing/producing life. Critically acclaimed appearances in London's West End, and at the Royal National Theatre, and on BBC, ITV, and C4 television, alongside a prolific writing and directing career. Oscar® nominated Morgan Spurlock became a household name after the runaway success of 2004’s SUPER SIZE ME. The feature length documentary film, Spurlock's first, was named to more than 35 "Top Ten" lists and is one of the highest-grossing documentaries of all time. Wang Yibo (Chinese: 王一博, born 5 August 1997) is a Chinese actor, dancer, rapper and singer. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boyband UNIQ. In 2019, he gained increased recognition and popularity with his portrayal of Lan Wangji. Yibo entered the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list for the first time, ranking 71st; Forbes China also listed him under their 30 Under 30 Asia 2019 list which consisted of 30 influential people under 30 years old who have had a substantial effect in their fields.
