Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Natalia Dyer was born on January 13, 1995 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is an American actress known primarily for her role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix science fiction drama series Stranger Things. Her career began around the age of twelve in 2009, in the family comedic drama Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) starring Miley Cyrus. It was not until her late teens, did she land her breakthrough role on Netflix's horror drama series Stranger Things (2016). On January 29, 2017 at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards show, Dyer and the cast of "Stranger Things" became co-winners for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series". Craig Jones (born February 11, 1972),[1] also known as 133, is an American musician. He is the former sampler and keyboardist of the heavy metal band Slipknot, in which he was designated #5. Jones joined the band in early 1996, shortly after the band had finished the recording of its demo album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.. Initially, he was brought in to replace Donnie Steele, one of the two original guitarists, though he quickly moved on to the role of sampling and keyboards.[2] Following the departure of fellow bandmate and drummer Joey Jordison in 2013, Jones was the second-longest-serving member of Slipknot. On June 7, 2023, Slipknot announced that they would part ways with Jones,[3] though the announcement was removed the same day.[4]

Jennifer Tilly (born Jennifer Ellen Chan; September 16, 1958) is an American actress and poker player. She is most recognised as Tiffany Valentine in the Child's Play franchise (1998–), a role for which she is recognized as an "icon" in the horror film community. Her first notable acting role was on the sitcom Shaping Up (1984), which she followed with her film debut in No Small Affair the same year. She is known for her distinctive voice and comedic timing. Tilly is a World Series of Poker Ladies' Event bracelet winner, the first celebrity to win a World Series tournament. She is the older sister of actress Meg Tilly. An American actor best known for starring in a number of film, television, and theater roles since the late 1960s, including the films American Graffiti, Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Goodbye Girl, Stakeout, Always, What About Bob? and Mr. Holland's Opus. Interweaving her studies as a Photographer & Interior Designer and work as an Actress & Presenter, Katrina loves to combine with these creative strands when working with design clients. Studying Interior Design at Sydney Design School, she specialised in colour & textiles. After graduating she spent 4 years working with the renowned Interior Designer & Textile importer Tigger Hall. This job saw Katrina working alongside Sydney's top Interior Designers to help source exquisite textiles, lighting & products for high end residential & commercial interiors. It was this experience that led her to design her first collection of textiles & homeware products. When Katrina returned to NZ in 2018 she opened a retail space on Ponsonby Road, stocking not only her own line of soft furnishings but an array of the gorgeous homewares she'd been introduced to with her work in Sydney. Applying her Interior Design skills she's now working with clients here in Auckland and around the world to create spaces that make their homes unique. Post Covid (if it's not too early to say that!) Katrina has moved her retail store to an online only presence with the popular range of silk velvet and pure linen printed cushions available alongside her photographic work.

Taliesin Jaffe (born January 19, 1977) is an American voice director, script writer, voice actor, and former child actor. Jaffe was born in Los Angeles, California. He is known for directing and writing many English language anime titles for New Generation Pictures, most notably R.O.D the TV and Hellsing. He is also co-directing BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad with Christopher Bevins for FUNimation. Together with Amanda Winn Lee and Jason C. Lee, he recorded commentary tracks for the North American DVD release of the films Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion. Jaffe has also written many articles and spoken as a guest lecturer at universities and libraries. Gunduz Shamsaddin oglu Abbasov - Soviet and Azerbaijani actor, librarian and editor. In 1947 he entered the Azerbaijan State Art College named after Azimzade, from which he graduated in 1952. From 1957 to 1959 he served as senior editor of the Azerbaijan State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, from 1964 to 1966 he served as editor of the Azerbaijan Publishing House Azerneshr. From 1968 to 1970 he was in charge of the art department of the editorial office of the Literature and Art newspaper, from 1970 to 1971 he was in charge of the library of the music school, at the same time from 1970 to 1972 he was the administrator of the cinema "Gelebe".
