Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Kate Winslet

Biography

Kate Elizabeth Winslet (born October 5, 1975) is an English actress. Known for her work in independent films, particularly period dramas, as well as for her portrayals of headstrong and complicated women, she has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, three British Academy Film Awards, and five Golden Globe Awards. Winslet studied drama at the Redroofs Theatre School. Her first screen appearance, at age 15, was in the British television series Dark Season (1991). She made her film debut playing a teenage murderess in Heavenly Creatures (1994), and went on to win a BAFTA Award for playing Marianne Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility (1995). Global stardom followed soon after with her leading role in the epic romance Titanic (1997), which earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Titanic was the highest-grossing film at the time, after which she eschewed parts in blockbusters in favour of critically acclaimed period pieces, including Quills (2000) and Iris (2001). A co-founder of the charity Golden Hat Foundation, which aims to create autism awareness, she has written a book on the topic, The Golden Hat: Talking Back to Autism (2010). Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2009 and 2021. In 2012, she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). Divorced from film directors Jim Threapleton and Sam Mendes, Winslet has been married to businessman Edward Abel Smith since 2012. She has a child from each marriage.

Clarence's first feature film was in the 1974 movie Man on a Swing, his other films include After Hours (1985), Ruthless People (1986), The Hidden (1987), The Last Boy Scout (1991), and The Ride (1997). He stars in the award-winning feature film, All for Liberty (2009) portraying his ancestor, Captain Henry Felder, an American Revolutionary War hero of the Backcountry of South Carolina, based on his play, Captain Felder's Cannon. His starring role on a television series was ABC's 1980s hit series Hooperman as Inspector Bobo Pritzger. Clarence has starred in many TV movies including Playing for Time, Mystery of the Morrow Castle and The Killing Floor. He has made many guest appearances on prime time TV series, including Kojak, Hill Street Blues, Alien Nation, Dream On, L.A. Law and NYPD Blue. On Broadway, he co-starred with Christopher Walken in Macbeth, with Glenn Close in Love for Love, Colleen Dewhurst in Queen & the Rebels and Meryl Streep in Memory of Two Mondays. He played Debbie Harry's [Blondie] father in Teaneck Tanzi. Johnnie To Kei-Fung, born 22 April 1955, is a Hong Kong film director and producer. Popular in his native Hong Kong,  To has also found acclaim overseas. Intensely prolific, To has made films in a variety of genres, though in the West he is best known for his action and crime movies, which have earned him critical respect  and a cult following. His films, often made in collaboration with the same group of actors, screenwriters and cinematographers, frequently explore themes of friendship, fate and the changing face of Hong Kong society. Sometimes described as "multifaceted and chameleonic"  due to his ability to switch tones and genres between movies, To is nonetheless seen as having a consistent style, which involves mixing subdued realism and social observation with highly stylized visual and acting elements. Kevin Ian "Kip" Pardue (born September 23, 1975) is an American actor and model best known for his roles in the films Remember the Titans, Driven, The Rules of Attraction, and Thirteen. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Dunwoody High School in Atlanta. He qualified for the Honor Roll with a 3.6 GPA in junior high and was treasurer of the French Club during his freshman year of high school. The name "Kip" comes from the initials of his full name. After graduating from Yale University where he played football, he was discovered by Molly Ringwald's publicist. He has been a model for Armani, Polo, and Abercrombie & Fitch. is a Mexican professional wrestler currently working under the ring name Heavy Metal for AAA. He is the son of referee Pepe Casas and part of the Casas wrestling family; the brother of Negro Casas and Felino Heavy Metal and his brothers including Negro Casas and El Felino went to International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) in 2005. The duo teamed and was able to capture the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Champion by defeating Black Tiger, Pantera II, Pentagon Black. The team lost the titles to Scorpio, Jr., Veneno, and Cerebro Negro in early 2006. Heavy Metal defeated Scorpio, Jr. for the IWRG Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion in 2005 but later lost back to him in late 2005. Biography

Deonna Kupryk is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling, where she is a former two-time Impact Knockouts Champion. She also appears in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) — with which Impact has a partnership — where she is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. She is also a former Ring of Honor Women's World Champion. Deonna began her career in 2012, wrestling in various independent promotions, eventually appearing national promotions Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and Ring of Honor (ROH). She also worked for the Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom). In 2018, while under contract with ROH, she was announced to be part of the independent event All In. Later she signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to the NXT brand. However, she was released in 2020. After her release, Deonna signed with Impact Wrestling (the former TNA) and quickly rose through the ranks in the women's division, and would become a four-time women's champion between Impact, AAA, and ROH.
