Adan Canto

Biography

Joseph Adan Canto (December 5, 1981 - January 8, 2024) was a Mexican actor. He was known for his role as Sunspot in the 2014 superhero film X-Men: Days of Future Past. On television, Canto played Paul Torres on the Fox drama series The Following, and in 2015 starred as AJ Menendez in the ABC prime-time series Blood & Oil. Canto played real-life politician Rodrigo Lara Bonilla in acclaimed Netflix drama series Narcos. He was also well known for his role as Aaron Shore in the Netflix political drama Designated Survivor starring alongside Kiefer Sutherland. Canto wrote and directed his first short film Before Tomorrow in 2014. Canto died of appendiceal cancer at aged 42 and is survived by his wife and two children.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. She is best known for her work on the TV series Madison, on the TV series Sue Thomas F.B. Eye, and the Nickelodeon teen drama Fifteen. She currently portrays Traci Nash in the Canadian drama Rookie Blue, and is known internationally for portraying the role of Marika Donoso on the seventh season of the Fox series 24. Personal life Okuma is of Nigerian descent credited alternatively as Enuka Okuma and Enuka Vanessa Okuma. She provided the voice of Lady Une in Gundam Wing, and of Jade in the Canadian animated series War Planets and also in an episode of MythQuest. On July 2, 2011 she married Joe Gasparin.Also in 2011, she made her directorial debut in the short film, Cookie, on which she is also credited as writer, actor, and executive producer.

Born in Alassio as Federica Elisabetta De Galleani, daughter of an Italian count and of a Polish woman of Lithuanian origin, Galleani made her film debut in 1970 with a small role in Quella piccola differenza by Duccio Tessari, then appeared in a number of films with roles of more weight. Robin Tunney (born June 19, 1972) is an American actress. Tunney made her film debut in the comedy Encino Man (1992) and rose to prominence with leading roles in the cult films Empire Records (1995) and The Craft (1996). Her performance in Niagara, Niagara (1997) won her acclaim and the Volpi Cup for Best Actress. She had leading roles in the films End of Days (1999), Supernova and Vertical Limit (both 2000). Maeve Dermody (mayv DUR-mə-dee; born 2 November 1985) is a UK-based Australian actress. After a film appearance at 5 years old, her adult acting career has included work in Australian and British television, theatre, short films, and movies. While still in high school, Dermody began getting roles in Australian television series such as All Saints (1998), and in short films. Her first major film role was in the independent thriller Black Water (2007), which earned her multiple nominations for Best Supporting Actress awards in the Australian film industry. Her next major film role was in Beautiful Kate (2009), for which she was again nominated for the AFI Best Supporting Actress Award. She had a lead role in the 2010 film Griff the Invisible, and in the 2012 miniseries Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms. In 2013, Dermody starred as Claire Simpson in the 10-part Australian-Singaporean TV drama series Serangoon Road. In Christmas 2015, Dermody starred as Vera Claythorne in BBC One's version of Agatha Christie's thriller And Then There Were None. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. James Sebastian Faulkner (born 18 July 1948) is a British actor, known for his many various appearance on television and in movies, usually in supporting roles. Faulkner made his big screen debut as Josef Strauss in The Great Waltz in 1972. He appeared in other films such as Whispering Death, Minder on the Orient Express, played Lt Teignmouth Melvill in Zulu Dawn that he co-produced, and appeared as Uncle Geoffrey in both Bridget Jones films. He played Herod in BBC's 1976 television adaptation of I, Claudius. In 1988 he portrayed one of the biggest enemies of Sherlock Holmes, as Stapleton in Granada Television's production of The Hound of the Baskervilles, opposite Jeremy Brett. In 1991, he played Alex Mair, the manager of the Larksoken nuclear power plant, in an Anglia production of the P.D. James novel featuring her character Inspector Adam Dalgleish, Devices and Desires. He has also portrayed Agent Smith in the film Hitman. He was also the principal antagonist Baron Mullins in the short-lived US/UK television show, Covington Cross. Jaycie Dotin

Biography

Jaycie is an American born actor who now calls Vancouver, British Columbia home. She started her "one-woman show" at the ripe age of 3 atop the coffee table in her living room and no one has been able to stop her since. Hailing from Akron, Ohio (no, she doesn't know [link-nm1429908]) she was inspired to pursue a career in the arts by her father, Richard Dotin, former lead vocalist and keyboard player of the Billboard Award nominated disco band, LaFlavour. After years of early childhood training in small theatres, performing arts programs, and dance studios (shout out to Theatre 8:15) Jaycie attended Wright State University's BFA program and declared Musical Theatre as her major. After two short years in the program, Jaycie was hired as a lead vocalist on Holland America Cruise Lines and proceeded to work for Royal Caribbean and Princess where she was a backup vocalist for Adrian Zmed. She then went on to become a lead vocalist in "Donn Arden's: Jubilee" at Bally's hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. After her stint in Vegas, Jaycie moved to Los Angeles where she started her commercial career representing international brands such as Clorox, Crayola, and Dr. Scholls. Shortly after her move, Jaycie was nominated for a Los Angeles Ovation Award for her performance as Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde the Musical. After her well deserved nomination, Jaycie joined the Broadway National Tour of Jersey Boys the Musical as "Loraine". Once her time on tour ended, Jaycie took her talents over the border and became a permanent resident of Canada, where she currently resides. Once settled in Vancouver (otherwise known as Hollywood North), Jaycie decided to focus on her film and television career and the industry welcomed her with open arms. Within the first few years, she was honored to work with some heavy-hitters like Marc Webb on the CBS pilot Republic of Sarah (2019), J.D. Dillard on CBS's The Twilight Zone (2019), and Christina Voros for a recurring role on ABC's hit show Big Sky (2020). Jaycie has accumulated over 28 film/TV credits, appeared in a dozen print/commercial campaigns, and is currently co-writing her first feature screenplay (2021). She attributes her success to the never ending support of her family, her dog, and a steady supply of snacks.
