Gary Wayne Coleman (February 8, 1968 – May 28, 2010) was an American actor, known for his childhood role as Arnold Jackson in the American sitcom Diff'rent Strokes (1978–1986) and for his small stature as an adult. He was described in the 1980s as "one of television's most promising stars". After a successful childhood acting career, Coleman struggled financially later in life. In 1989, he successfully sued his parents and business advisor over misappropriation of his assets, only to declare bankruptcy a decade later.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Carlotta Monti (January 20, 1907 – December 8, 1993) was an American film actress, who was W. C. Fields' companion in his last years. Born Carlotta Montijo in Los Angeles, California, Monti appeared in B-movies including Kiss of Araby (1933), Tarzan the Fearless (1933) and Night Cargo (1936), usually cast as an exotic temptress. She met Fields in 1932 and their relationship lasted until his death in 1946. She had small roles in his films Man on the Flying Trapeze (1935) and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break (1941).

She is also a member of The Yeates School of Graduate Studies, and the Graduate Program in Communication & Culture, where she also earned my MA in 2007. Her first book, Beauty in a Box: Detangling the Roots of Canada’s Black Beauty Culture, was published by Wilfrid Laurier Press in 2019. Peggy Stewart

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Peggy Stewart (born Margaret O'Rourke; June 5, 1923 - May 29, 2019) was an American film actress who starred mostly in B-movies during the 1930s and 1940s. Her sister, Patricia O'Rourke, was an Olympic swimmer, and was married to World War II hero and well known B-movie actor Wayne Morris. Stewart's career began when she was cast in the 1937 film Wells Fargo, alongside Joel McCrea. By the early 1940s she was on contract with Republic Pictures, starring regularly with Allan Lane, Sunset Carson, and Wild Bill Elliott. During that time she played in several episodes of Adventures of Red Ryder. She usually played the part of the tough heroine, rather than a passive girl needing to be saved. Along that time she married western actor Don Barry. From 1944 to 1951 she starred in thirty-five films, most of which were serials and westerns. She also starred with Gene Autry several times during that period as well as appearing on several episodes of The Cisco Kid including "Oil Land" which first aired on 10-10-1950. In 1949, she played alongside Jim Bannon in Ride, Ryder, Ride. She again played the part of heroine to Bannon in 1950, starring in The Fighting Redhead. In 1952 she starred with Bill Elliott in Kansas Territory. Her career slowed in the 1960s, and by the 1970s she was residing in Studio City, California. Stewart won the Golden Boot Awards in 1984. Semi-retired, Stewart still continued to act on occasion, and played a bit role on one episode of Seinfeld in 1990 titled "The Implant". In that episode she played the part of the aunt to George Costanza's temporary girlfriend. More recently she has played Pam Beesly's "old-fashioned" grandmother Mee-Maw on The Office episode "Niagara, and once more in the episode when they baptise Jims and Pams daughter CC. Kenneth Cranham

Biography

Scottish born actor Kenneth Cranham is one of the most recognisable character actors in Britain. Having trained at the National Youth Theatre and RADA, Cranham first came to prominence as Noah Claypole in the 1968 Carol Reed musical Oliver! In the late '70s, Cranham memorably played Sapper Salt in Euston Films' Danger UXB, before taking the title role in the popular postwar set period comedy drama Shine on Harvey Moon. His most famous film role from around this time was Dr. Philip Channard in Hellraiser II. In more recent years he has starred in the HBO series Rome, as well as the films Hot Fuzz, Layer Cake, Valkyrie, Made in Dagenham, Maleficent and Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool. Among many stage credits are West End productions of Entertaining Mr Sloane, Loot, An Inspector Calls (both transferring to Broadway), The Ruffian on the Stair, The Birthday Party and Gaslight (at the Old Vic). For his role as Inspector Goole in An Inspector Calls, he was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award. In 2016, Cranham won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role as Andre in Florian Zeller's The Father. The play originated at the Theatre Royal Bath's Ustinov Studio in the Autumn of 2014, before touring the country and transferring to the West End in the Summer of 2015, and returning to the Duke of York's Theatre in Spring 2016. The play received an unprecedented five star review from every leading national press publication, and Cranham's performance was described as "the performance of his life" His first wife was actress Diana Quick. He has two daughters: Nancy Cranham with actress Charlotte Cornwell, and Kathleen Cranham with his second wife, actress Fiona Victory, whom he met on the set of Shine on Harvey Moon.

Bruno Langley

British actor who came to fame playing Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street, a role he played on and off for sixteen years from 2001 to 2017. He was sacked from the show in October 2017 prior to his pleading guilty to two counts of sexual assault in November of that year. He was sentenced to a twelve month community order and registered as a sex offender. Langley also played Adam Mitchell, a brief companion to Christopher Eccleston's Doctor in the 2005 series and appeared as Damon in the movie The League of Gentlemen Apocalypse.

Kelly Adams (born 16 October 1979 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire) is an English actress. A pupil of North Kesteven School in North Hykeham, Adams trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Wood Green, London. Initially playing Tara Palmer-Tomkinson in a docu-soap about Prince William, she later appeared in Doctors before playing Mickie Hendrie in Holby City from 2004 to 2006. Her ambitious character left for Newcastle Medical school to study to be a doctor. Adams has since appeared as the servant Eve in the Robin Hood episode "A Thing or Two About Loyalty", and is currently[when?] co-starring with Adrian Edmondson on the BBC Radio 2 comedy show, Teenage Kicks. In 2009 Adams joined the cast of long-running BBC1 drama series Hustle for its fifth season, playing the role of Emma Kennedy, a new member of Mickey Bricks' crew of con artists. She has continued in the role of Emma for two further seasons of the drama, the most recent of which (Season 7) aired from 7 January 2011. In an episode of Series 6 Adams plays the role of Kylie Minogue as a parody of Adams striking resemblance to the Australian singer. In 2010 Adams appeared in the movie My Last Five Girlfriends as Wendy. She also had a small role in the 2009 biographical film Bronson, about the notorious prisoner Charles Bronson, and in a British science fiction thriller Beacon77, which was shown at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Adams married long term partner, fashion photographer Chris Kennedy, in a ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in February 2011, after proposing to him on a trip to Bruges.
