Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. She may be best-known for her role in the hit lesbian film And Then Came Lola She co-stars on the television series, Dante's Cove, as well as 3Way, a lesbian web series, with Cathy Shim, Maile Flanagan and Maeve Quinlan. She is now producing a webseries entitled "We Have to Stop Now". Season 1 is being released this summer and showing at Frameline and Outfest LGBT film festivals. Thomas Langmann

Biography

Thomas Langmann (born 24 May 1971) is a French film producer and actor, known for producing The Artist (2011), for which he received an Academy Award for Best Picture as producer in 2012. Langmann began his career as an actor in his father's films when he was a teenager, earning Cesar Award nominations for Most Promising Newcomer for Les années sandwiches in 1988 and Paris s'éveille in 1991, as well as a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 1993 for Le nombril du monde. He became a film producer in the early 2000s. During the filming of Asterix at the Olympic Games, he was arrested for employing prostitutes and purchasing narcotics. In 2011, Langmann produced the black and white, silent film The Artist with director Michel Hazanavicius. He was unable to attract investors to the risky project and self-financed the film. He won the Academy Award for the film at the 2012 Oscars and won the Producers Guild of America Award for Best Theatrical Motion Picture. He was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in June 2012 along with 175 other individuals. Langmann was born in Paris, France, the son of Anne-Marie Rassam and film director Claude Berri. His uncle was the late producer Jean-Pierre Rassam and his brother was the late French actor Julien Rassam. Both his mother and his brother committed suicide, in 1997 and in 2002, respectively, while his father died of a stroke in 2009. He has a younger half-brother from his father's later relationship, Darius Langmann. His father Claude Berri was Jewish, and his mother Anne-Marie Rassam, who was born in Lebanon, was Lebanese Christian. In 2008, Langmann was sentenced to four months in prison for assaulting his long-term girlfriend Frédérique, with whom he had a daughter in 2002. Carlos Guerrero was born and raised in Miami, Florida the second of six children of Daisy and Cuban Actor/Poet Jorge Raul Guerrero. His first appearance on stage and camera were in the arms of his father as a small child. Carlos has played a wide range of diverse dramatic and comedic Leading and Guest Star roles on theatre, television, and films. He directed and co-wrote Little Nicky and directed Mr. Deeds, Without A Paddle, Heavyweights and Drillbit Taylor. He has had cameo roles in all three Mighty Ducks movies, and appeared in The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds and Knocked Up, although his role in the latter has been miscredited to Judd Apatow. He also appeared as the Barfly in Sex, Lies, and Videotape. As a director, Brill was one of the central players (alongside Harvey Weinstein) in the 2007/2008 Fanboys reshoot/editing controversy. Eva Mottley

Biography

Eva Mottley was a Barbadian-born British and Nigerian raised actress, who began her acting career following a 15 month prison sentence for possession of LSD. Her most famous role was Bella O'Reilly in the television drama Widows. She was due to star in the sequel but left the production claiming that she had been racially and sexually abused by the production team. By the time the sequel aired on TV (with Debby Bishop taking up the role of Bella) Mottley had committed suicide from an overdose of barbiturates and alcohol after running up a £25,000 from cocaine addiction. Mottley's other credits include the films Scrubbers and Superman III and Corinne, Denzil's wife, in Only Fools and Horses. She was romantically involved with David Bowie for two years and was part of a well-known political family in Barbados; Her grandfather, Ernest Motley, was the first mayor of Bridgetown, whilst her uncle, Elliott Motley, and cousin Mia Mottley are both politicians.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Matthew J Vogel II (born October 6, 1970) has been a Muppet performer for the Jim Henson Company since the 1990s. On Sesame Street, Vogel served as the assistant puppeteer for Ernie, performing either one or both hands while Steve Whitmire performed the head and vocal. Eventually, Vogel's ability to mimic the sound and performance of Caroll Spinney's Big Bird was put to use. As of 2006, Vogel's primary performances as Big Bird are the "Journey to Ernie" segments. He's also taken over Jerry Nelson's characters, by the recommendation of Nelson himself. Vogel is, as of 2008, the voice of Floyd Pepper, Lew Zealand, Crazy Harry, Robin the Frog, & Camilla the Chicken. He has also taken over the puppetry of Jerry's most famous character, Count von Count, but Jerry is still providing the voice. Vogel performed the muppets that were used in Kenneth the Page's view of the world in the 30 Rock episode, "Apollo, Apollo." She played the title character in the film Alita: Battle Angel. Rosa Bianca Salazar was born on July 16, 1985. She is of Peruvian and French descent. She grew up in Washington, D.C. and nearby Greenbelt, Maryland. Salazar attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, and was active in the school theatre program.
