Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor and film producer. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993), and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009). He also performed in dramatic roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017), starred in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Green Lantern (2011), 6 Underground (2019) and Free Guy (2021), and provided voice acting in the animated features The Croods (2013), Turbo (2013), Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019) and The Croods: A New Age (2020). Reynolds' biggest commercial success came with the superhero films Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), in which he played the title character. The former set numerous records at the time of its release for an R-rated comedy and his performance earned him nominations at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

Walter Walker

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Walter Walker (March 13, 1864 – December 4, 1947) was an American actor of the stage and screen during the first half of the twentieth century. Born in New York City, Walker would have a career in theater prior to entering the film industry. By 1915 he was appearing in Broadway productions, his first being Sinners, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Owen Davis. His film debut was in a leading role in 1917's American – That's All. He had a lengthy career, in both film and on stage, appearing in numerous plays and over 80 films. From 1915 through 1930 Walker would appear over a dozen times on the Great White Way, with some of his more notable plays being An American Tragedy, taken from the best-selling novel of the same name by Theodore Dreiser, and Holiday, produced and directed by Arthur Hopkins. During the late 1910s, and through the 1920s, Walker would combine his stage career with appearances in several films, having mostly starring or featured roles in over half a dozen. He appeared in his last Broadway production in 1930, with a featured role in Rebound, written by Academy Award winner Donald Ogden Stewart. In 1931, Walker would devote his acting energies to the big screen, appearing in over 75 films throughout the rest of the decade. In one of his first films during this decade, he would reprise his role of Henry Jaffrey in the film version of Rebound, which starred Ina Claire, Robert Ames and Myrna Loy. Some of the more notable films in which Walker had either a featured or supporting role include 1933's Flying Down to Rio, the original version of Imitation of Life in 1934, the 1935 version of Magnificent Obsession, the Mae West vehicle Go West, Young Man in 1936, and as Benjamin Franklin in the 1938 film Marie Antoinette. Walker would reprise the role of Franklin for the 1938 short The Declaration of Independence. His final screen appearance in a feature film was in a supporting role in The Cowboy and the Lady in 1938. Walter Walker died on December 4, 1947 while visiting his daughter and her husband in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Engelbert Dollfuß

Biography

Engelbert Dollfuss (German: Engelbert Dollfuß, IPA: [ˈɛŋəlbɛɐ̯t ˈdɔlfuːs]; 4 October 1892 – 25 July 1934) was an Austrian clerical fascist politician who served as Chancellor of Austria between 1932 and 1934. Having served as Minister for Forests and Agriculture, he ascended to Federal Chancellor in 1932 in the midst of a crisis for the conservative government. In early 1933, he dissolved parliament and assumed dictatorial powers. Suppressing the Socialist movement in February 1934 during the Austrian Civil War and later banning the Austrian Nazi Party, he cemented the rule of "Austrofascism" through the authoritarian First of May Constitution. Dollfuss was assassinated as part of a failed coup attempt by Nazi agents in 1934. His successor Kurt Schuschnigg maintained the regime until Adolf Hitler's annexation of Austria in 1938.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. Diane Hsu

Born to Chinese immigrant parents, Diane Lee Hsu was a classically trained pianist from age 6 who was performing with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra by age 17. While studying modern dance in college (she'd graduate with a degree in such from the University of Utah), Diane began modeling, which led to a tryout for Playboy Magazine. Under the name Diana Lee, she'd become only the third Playmate on Asian descent after being chosen to become the magazine's Playmate of the Month in May 1988. Soon after, film and TV roles followed. Hsu made her film debut in the James bond film License to Kill (1989), where she played Hong Kong narcotics agent Loti and was also one of the silhouette models in the opening title sequence. She'd go on to other film roles, played a semi-recurring role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, had guest spots on shows like Family Matters and The West Wing and has done voice work for video games like Everquest II and Prototype.

Neil Gorsuch

Neil McGill Gorsuch (born August 29, 1967) is an American jurist who serves as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. He was nominated by President Donald Trump on January 31, 2017, and has served since April 10, 2017. Gorsuch spent his early life in Denver, Colorado, then lived in Bethesda, Maryland, while attending Georgetown Preparatory School. Upon graduating, he matriculated at Columbia University, where he became an established writer. Gorsuch received his legal education at Harvard Law School and, after 15 years as a practicing attorney, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in jurisprudence from the University of Oxford on a Marshall Scholarship. His doctoral thesis concerned the morality of assisted suicide under the supervision of legal philosopher John Finnis. From 1995 to 2005, Gorsuch was in private practice with the law firm of Kellogg, Hansen, Todd, Figel & Frederick. He was the principal deputy associate attorney general at the United States Department of Justice from 2005 until his appointment to the Tenth Circuit. President George W. Bush nominated Gorsuch to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit on May 10, 2006, to replace Judge David M. Ebel, who achieved senior status that same year. Gorsuch is a proponent of textualism in statutory interpretation and originalism in interpreting the United States Constitution. Along with Justice Clarence Thomas, he is an advocate of natural law jurisprudence. Gorsuch clerked for Judge David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit from 1991 to 1992 and U.S. Supreme Court justices Byron White and Anthony Kennedy from 1993 to 1994. He is the first Supreme Court justice to serve alongside a justice for whom he once clerked (Kennedy). During his tenure on the Supreme Court he has written the majority opinion in landmark cases such as Bostock v. Clayton County on LGBT rights, McGirt v. Oklahoma on Native American law, Kennedy v. Bremerton School District on personal religious observance, 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis on free speech, and Ramos v. Louisiana on juries' guilty verdicts.

Loretta King (August 20, 1917 – September 10, 2007) was an American actress, best known for the brevity of her career and her relationship with director Ed Wood. Loretta King was the star of Ed Wood’s 1955 film “Bride of the Monster,” with Bela Lugosi. She played investigative newspaper reporter Janet Lawton. King appeared in several episodes of Hallmark Television Playhouse the same year, but then quickly retired from film work. After her 1970 marriage to Herman Hadler, Loretta King re-emerged briefly as an actress. She appeared in two films under the name Loretta Hadler. Loretta King was portrayed by actress Juliet Landau in the 1994 Tim Burton bio-pic, “Ed Wood.” Interviewed in the 1996 documentary, “The Haunted World of Edward D. Wood Jr,” Loretta disputed many of the anecdotes that other people had told of her Ed Wood period. She denied that she was ever allergic to water, or that she received her “Bride of the Monster” role in exchange for financing the film. Both of these allegations had been dramatized in 1994’s “Ed Wood.” In 1994, King was portrayed in the Tim Burton bio-pic, Ed Wood, by actress Juliet Landau. After high school he studied German literature, journalism and theatre arts. In 1992, he launched a one-year intensive acting study at private acting studio in Berlin-Friedrichstrasse, to prepare for the entrance examination at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig. From 1993 to 1995, he studied music and theatre in Leipzig. He then moved to Dresden State Theatre and went through two years of studio training. In 1992, he graduated from training with an award. His television career began in 1998 in the ZDF series A strong team.
