Biography

Pierfrancesco Diliberto, nicknamed Pif (born 1972), is an Italian television host, film director, actor and writer. Pif was born in Palermo, Italy on 4 June 1972. He is the son of the Italian director Maurizio Diliberto and has had a passion for cinema since his youth. In 1998 he worked as assistant director to Marco Tullio Giordana for I cento passi (The Hundred Steps), a famous film against the mafia. In the same year he started working as a television author at Mediaset. In 2001 he started participating in Le Iene (The Hyenas), an Italian TV show with journalistic reporting characterized by a sharp satirical style. In 2007 he started his own TV show, Il Testimone (The Witness), on MTV. In the show, he uses an Autovox to create amateur-like reports in Italy and abroad. In the same year he published his book Piffettopoli. Le fatiche di un quasi vip. In 2012 he published the short story Sarà stata una fuga di gas (It Must Have Been a Gas Leak) in the book Dove eravamo. Vent'anni dopo Capaci e Via D'Amelio (Where We Were. Twenty Years After Capaci and Via D'Amelio), a miscellaneous volume commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the death of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, two famous Sicilian judges who fought against the mafia and, after being assassinated, became symbols of the fight against the mafia in Italy. In 2013 he started his film career by writing and directing The Mafia Kills Only in the Summer, in which he also plays the leading role, and from which he created the homonym TV series, directed by Luca Ribuoli. Debbie Evans

Biography

Debbie Evans is a prolific American stuntwoman. An accomplished motorcyclist, her entertainment roots began with halftime shows at various stadium events, which included her famous headstand on the seat of a balancing motorcycle. Not one to shy away from the challenge of a male-dominated field, she accepted the offer to do a motorcycle jump over a 30-foot ravine for the movie Deathsport. This job would be the beginning a stunt career that would span decades, and garner her accolades and awards for future work to come. Shortly after her path started, things exploded for Debbie when she tied for second overall in the 1978 CBS Stunt Competition as the only female competitor, and won first place in the car race, beating out all of the top male stunt drivers. Debbie honed all aspects of her physical ability, performing just about every stunt there is, but never steering too far from her first love...motorcycles and cars! Debbie has won 7 Taurus World Stunts Awards, one of the highest acknowledgements in her industry. She has also been inducted into the American Motorcyclist (AMA) Hall of Fame, The Hollywood Stuntman's Hall of Fame, along with many other awards and nominations.

Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Blake Lindsley

Biography

Blake Lindsley practically grew up around acting for most of her life. Born on December 19, 1973 in Los Angeles, in 1986, while attending the Westlake School for girls, she acted in school plays. At this time, Blake was also a Varsity member of the Equestrian Team. Shortly following her graduating from high school in 1992, Blake enrolled at Yale University as a theatre major. During her time in college she performed in numerous plays. She focused her studies on dramatic literature at Yale. Upon graduating from Yale, Blake received the Saybrook Master's Prize for the Arts. Her career in acting spans well over 20 years, appearing across both movie and television screens in a variety of films and television series. She is a competitive horseback rider and has won many championships including the prestigious Foxfield medal finals in 2010. She lives in the Hollywood Hills with her husband, producer Stephen Nemeth, their son Lincoln and daughter Louise.

Jean-Claude Pascal

Biography

Jean-Claude Pascal (b. 24 October 1927 in Paris, France as Jean-Claude Villeminot. d. 5 May 1992) was a French singer. After surviving the Second World War in Straßburg, Pascal first studied at the Sorbonne-university and then turned to fashion-designing for Christian Dior. On his work for costumes for the theatre-play Don Juan he came into contact with acting and made his first cinema-movie in 1949 with Quattro rose rosse. Many movies should follow, among them La Belle et l'empereur ("Die schöne Lügnerin", 1959) (aside to Romy Schneider) or Angelique and the Sultan (Angélique et le sultan, 1968) aside to Michèle Mercier. Pascal won the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg singing "Nous les amoureux" (We the lovers) with music composed by Jacques Datin and lyrics by Maurice Vidalin. He later represented Luxembourg again in the 1981 contest and finished 11th of 20 singing "C'est peut-être pas l'Amérique" (It may not be America) with words and music he composed along with Sophie Makhno and Jean-Claude Petit. John Romita Sr.

Biography

John Victor Romita Sr. (January 24, 1930 – June 12, 2023) was an American comic book artist best known for his work on Marvel Comics' The Amazing Spider-Man and for co-creating characters including Mary Jane Watson, the Punisher, and Wolverine. Romita is the father of John Romita Jr., also a comic book artist and husband of Virginia Romita, for many years Marvel's traffic manager. His first comics work was in 1949 as a ghost artist for Timely Comics, the precursor to Marvel, through which Romita met editor-in-chief Stan Lee. In 1951, Romita began drawing horror, war, and romance comics for Atlas Comics (previously Timely), and also drew his first superhero work, a 1950s revival of Captain America. He began working exclusively for DC Comics from 1958–1965 and was the artist for many of their romance comics. During these years, Romita further developed his ability to draw beautiful women, which he later became well-known for. Romita joined Marvel in 1965, initially drawing Daredevil comics. In 1966, Spider-Man artist and co-creator Steve Ditko left Marvel, and Romita was chosen by writer Lee as the new artist for The Amazing Spider-Man title. Within a year of Romita becoming the Spider-Man artist, The Amazing Spider-Man rose from Marvel's second-best-selling title to the company's top-seller. Romita brought a new romance style to Spider-Man comics that soon became the new house style for the character. In June 1973, Romita was promoted to Marvel's art director and heavily influenced the look of Marvel comics throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Michael McGlone

Michael McGlone is an American actor, singer and songwriter. He is perhaps best known as the film noiresque spokesman for GEICO insurance posing rhetorical questions in the vein of Robert Stack or Rod Serling, which are then acted out in humorous fashion. McGlone's best-known film credits include two castings as actor Edward Burns's brother in 1995's "The Brothers McMullen" and 1996's "She's the One" (opposite Jennifer Aniston). He has also had large supporting roles in the 1998 crime film "One Tough Cop" opposite Stephen Baldwin and Chris Penn, and the 1999 thriller "The Bone Collector" which starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. On television, McGlone's credits include "Crash" on the StarzNetwork and "The Kill Point" on the cable channel Spike TV. Voice-over credits include TLC's "Trauma: Life in the E.R.", Court TV's "I, Detective", and The History Channel series "Dead Reckoning." He has also acted on stage. His writing credits include the novels "And All the Roses Dying...", "Dice", and "Hourigan's Song". He has recorded and produced two albums, Hero (1999) and To Be Down (2002). Solange Piaget Knowles (born June 24, 1986), who performs under the mononym Solange, is an American recording artist, actress and model. Knowles was born and raised in Houston, Texas along with her older sister singer Beyoncé, a former member of R&B group Destiny's Child. Showing an interest in music recording at an early age, she eventually broke into the music scene at 16. She has released two studios albums: Solo Star in 2003 and Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams in 2008, which peak at number nine in the US Billboard 200 chart. Aside from recording, Knowles has ventured into film, modeling, and entrepreneurship. She co-launched the junior apparel collection Deréon, a sister line to House of Deréon that was established by her mother and sister. Knowles has been compared to her sister by the media, but she dismisses the notion, saying they are artistically different. Gary Michael Cole (born September 20, 1956) is an American stage and screen actor, best known for his supporting roles in numerous television and film productions such as Jack "Nighthawk" Killian in Midnight Caller or as Bill Lumbergh in Office Space. In 1984, he played the lead role of Green Beret Army Officer Jeffrey MacDonald, along with Karl Malden and Eva Marie Saint, in the true crime TV mini-series Fatal Vision, based on the book of the same name. Based on the real-life murders of the wife and daughters of U.S. Army officer Jeffrey R. MacDonald at Fort Bragg in 1970. He landed the lead role on NCIS in 2021, taking over as the team's supervisor.
