Jiří Štěpnička, by his own name Jiří Samec (* 16 April 1947 London) is a Czech actor. He is the son of Czech actress Jiřina Štěpničková and a drawing professor from Strakonice Jan Samka, for whom Jiřina Štěpničková married shortly before the son's birth. The place of his birth was given English citizenship, and he received five names in baptism according to his godparents: Jiří Jan Jaroslav Martin Otto. Jan Antonín Duchoslav

Biography

Jan Antonín Duchoslav (* May 1, 1965 Prague) is a Czech actor and moderator. He studied high school, but did not finish it. According to him, it was mainly due to the popularity that occurred after the film Snowdrops and Gnats. During his military service, he was sentenced to ten months unconditionally for bullying, but thanks to President Husák's amnesty, he was released from prison after only 19 days. Since the 1980s, he has made a living as a props, pusher, businessman with women's shoulder pads, producer, ski instructor and illuminator. He is divorced. He and his ex-wife Klára Stibůrková, who is a lawyer by profession, have two children - sons Antonín (2008) and Jan (2012). Shannon Wilcox was widely known for her acting on the big screen. Wilcox's early roles were in comedies like "Songwriter" (1984) starring Willie Nelson, the Robert Redford film "Legal Eagles" (1986) and "Hollywood Harry" (1986) with Robert Forster and Kate Forster. She also appeared in the TV movie "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" (NBC, 1978-79). Born in Churubusco, a suburb of Mexico City, and raised in Texas, he studied at California Polytechnic State University where he graduated with an engineering degree. He began his acting career at the stage in Mexico City, entering films there in 1935. During the next years he made 42 Spanish-language films, among them "Maria Candelaria" (1943) and "La Perla" (1947), becoming one of Mexico`s top film stars. His first American film was "The Fugitive" for RKO in 1947. Since then he costarred in more than 80 films in Hollywood, England, France, Germany and Italy. Credits include "Fort Apache" (1948), "Three Godfathers", "We Were Strangers" (1949), "El Bruto" (1952), "The Littlest Outlaw" (1955), "The Conqueror" (1956), "La Cucaracha" (1958) and "The Wonderful Country" (1959). When Armendariz was taken ill while filming the second James Bond film "From Russia With Love" his scenes were rushed through so he could return to L.A. for treatment and he entered UCLA Medical Center. Learning he had terminal cancer he killed himself there with a gunshot.

Jeff Celentano (born 24 May 1960), also credited as Jeff Weston, is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. As a character actor, Celentano has starred in such films as American Ninja 2: The Confrontation, Puppet Master II, and Demonic Toys. In 1994, he turned to directing with his first short film, Dickwad. He also directed Under the Hula Moon, Gunshy, and most recently Moscow Heat. Edward John Markey (born July 11, 1946) is an American lawyer, politician, and former Army reservist serving as the junior United States senator from Massachusetts since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he served 20 terms (18 full, two partial) as the U.S. representative for Massachusetts's 7th congressional district from 1976 to 2013. Before his congressional career, he was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1973 to 1976. In 2013, after John Kerry was appointed United States Secretary of State, Markey was elected to serve out the remainder of Kerry's Senate term in a 2013 special election. Markey defeated Stephen Lynch in the Democratic primary and Republican Gabriel E. Gomez in the general election. He was elected to a full term in the Senate in 2014. Markey fended off a primary challenge from Joseph Kennedy III and was reelected in 2020 by a wide margin. Markey is a progressive who has focused on climate change and energy policy and was chair of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming from 2007 to 2011. He is the Senate author of the Green New Deal. Markey is the dean of the Massachusetts congressional delegation, having served in Congress since 1976. His progressive policies have led to widespread support among young voters. The Hill has called him "an icon to Gen Z activists".

Roger Whittaker

Roger Henry Brough Whittaker (born 22 March 1936) is a British singer-songwriter and musician, who was born in Nairobi to English parents. His music is an eclectic mix of folk music and popular songs in addition to radio airplay hits. He is best known for his baritone singing voice and trademark whistling ability as well as his guitar skills. He is widely known for his version of "Wind Beneath My Wings" (1982), as well as his own compositions "Durham Town (The Leavin')" (1969) and "I Don't Believe in If Anymore" (1970). American audiences are most familiar with his 1970 hit "New World in the Morning" and his 1975 hit "The Last Farewell", which is his only single to hit the Billboard Hot 100 (it made the Top 20) and also hit No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. He is also known for his renditions of "Ding! Dong! Merrily on High" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas". His final top-charting hit was "Albany", which scored No. 3 in West Germany in 1982. Whittaker's parents, Edward and Vi Whittaker, were from Staffordshire, England, where they owned and operated a grocery shop. His father was injured in a motorcycle accident and the family moved to a farm near Thika, Kenya, because of its warmer climate. His grandfather sang in various clubs and his father played the violin. Roger learned to play the guitar. Upon completing his primary education, Whittaker was admitted to Prince of Wales School (now Nairobi School). Upon completing his high school education, he was called up for national service and spent two years in the Kenya Regiment fighting the Mau Mau in the Aberdare Forest. In 1956 he was demobilised and decided on a career in medicine. He enrolled at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. However, he left after 18 months and joined the civil service education department as a teacher, following in his mother's footsteps. To further his teaching career, Whittaker moved to Britain in September 1959. For the next three years, he studied zoology, biochemistry and marine biology at University College of North Wales and earned a Bachelor of Science degree while singing in local clubs, and released songs on Flexi discs included with the campus newspaper, the Bangor University Rag. Shortly afterwards, he was signed to Fontana Records, which released his first professional single, "The Charge of the Light Brigade", in 1962.
