Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. ​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Jay Karnes (born June 27, 1963) is an American actor, born in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of Kansas (class of '89). He is well known for his role as L.A.P.D. Det. Holland "Dutch" Wagenbach on the FX hit drama The Shield, which finished its seventh (and final) season on November 25, 2008. In 2008 Karnes played the recurring role of ATF Agent Josh Kohn on FX Network's new original series Sons of Anarchy, created by writer/actor Kurt Sutter of The Shield. Karnes was an antagonist to SAMCRO vice president Jax Teller and his sometime girlfriend Tara Knowles. Two of the films he has starred in are The Joyriders (1999) and The Next Best Thing (2000). His most recent films are the 2008 movies Chasing 3000 and Broken Angel. Currently in 2011 he featured in season 2 of V (2009) and is set to appear as a main character in season 3. Jay Karnes has made guest appearances on several TV shows, including Frasier, Judging Amy, Chicago Hope, The Pretender, Star Trek: Voyager as Lieutenant Ducane in the fifth-season episode "Relativity", and House. Recently, he has had a recurring role on Burn Notice as Tyler Brennen, a sinister gunrunner with a predilection for kidnapping relatives of those he wishes to leverage. In the mid-1990s Karnes was a company member with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, playing major roles in such plays as Love's Labours Lost and Tom Stoppard's Arcadia.

Tarun Kumar is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in few Tamil and Malayalam films. He has received three state Nandi Awards and the National Film Award for his works. He received the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991, for his work in Mani Ratnam's Anjali, which was India's official entry to the Oscars for that year. Tarun won critical acclaim with the Malayalam children's film, Abhayam (1991), which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film for that year, and Tarun won the Best Child artist Award at the Furoshiki Film Festival in Japan. As a child artist, Tarun starred in super hits such as Manasu Mamatha (1990), Surya IPS (1991), Aditya 369 (1991), Teja (1992), My Dear Muthachan (1992), and Johny (1993). Massimo Troisi

Biography

Massimo Troisi began his acting career in the theater and became famous for roles in television series. He is best known for his roles in his own film Ricomincio da tre (1981), and in Michael Radford's The Postman (Il Postino) (1994). The filmmaker Ettore Scola has also made him one of his leading performers, with three consecutive works: Splendor, What time is it? and The Voyage of Captain Fracasse. Heart disease when he had to shoot The Postman. His doctor had advised him not to do the filming to have the operation. He decided to postpone the operation after the shooting, this film being close to his heart. He died of a heart attack, barely twelve hours after the end of filming. He was posthumously nominated for two Oscars and two Golden Globes.

Alena Mudrová is a young actress from Prague. She has been practicing gymnastics and attending drama classes since childhood. At the age of fourteen, she made her first television film, Stepbrother, alongside Viktor Preiss and Tatyana Medvecka. After successfully passing the talent exams, she studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory. During her studies, viewers could see her, for example, in the series Black Ambulance as the main character in the episode Alone in a Car, in the film Paradise on Earth at a Glance or in the series Shop in the role of the amorous Bětka from a café. Pelle Hvenegaard is a Danish actor and writer, best known for his role in the award-winning film Pelle the Conqueror (1987). Hvenegaard is named after the title character of Pelle from Danish author Martin Andersen Nexø's 1910 novel Pelle the Conqueror. At age 11, director Bille August chose Hvenegaard to play the character he is named for, after the crew auditioned 3,000 children. August decided on Hvenegaard, who he said demonstrated concentration, patience and self-control. Since 2008, Hvenegaard has been the host of Dagens Mand, the Danish version of Taken Out.
