Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Cory Barlog (born September 2, 1975) is an American video game designer, director, and writer who is the current creative director of video game development at Santa Monica Studio. He is best known for his work on the God of War series. Barlog was born in Sacramento, California, on September 2, 1975, the son of fantasy novelist J. M. Barlog. In his early career, Barlog worked as a lead animator at Paradox Development on Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This at Home and X-Men: Next Dimension. After joining Santa Monica Studio, he was the lead animator for God of War (2005) and directed God of War II (2007), for which he won a BAFTA for his writing work on the game. He also served as game director of God of War III (2010) for the first eight months of its development. Although not part of Sony at the time, he helped in writing God of War: Ghost of Sparta (2010). Barlog was a keynote speaker at ECAROcon 2008 and later worked at LucasArts. In an interview, he announced that he was working on a tie-in video game for the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. He was reported to be in Sweden to develop the title with Avalanche Studios, best known for Just Cause. Despite various gaming websites confirming that the game was in development over the coming years, Barlog had left Avalanche Studios early in its development and the game never materialized. In March 2012, it was announced that Barlog had joined Crystal Dynamics to direct the cinematics for the new Tomb Raider game and direct an unannounced game. However, he left the company in April 2013. In August 2013, it was announced that Barlog would return to Santa Monica Studio. He currently serves as the studio's creative director and directed God of War (2018). For the game, he won the Game Award for Best Game Direction, while the game itself won Game of the Year and the BAFTA Games Award for Best Game. He also wrote the foreword to the novelization of the game, which was written by his father. He also produced the sequel God of War Ragnarök (2022).

Christine Marie Evert (born December 21, 1954), known as Chris Evert Lloyd from 1979 to 1987, is an American former world No. 1 tennis player. Evert won 18 major singles titles, including a record seven French Open titles and a joint-record six US Open titles (tied with Serena Williams). Evert was ranked world No. 1 for 260 weeks, and was the year-end world No. 1 singles player seven times (1974–78, 1980, 1981). Alongside Martina Navratilova, her greatest rival, Evert dominated women's tennis for much of the 1970s and 1980s. Evert contested 34 major singles finals, a record for women's tennis. In singles, Evert reached the semifinals or better in 52 of the 56 majors she played, including at 34 consecutive majors entered from the 1971 US Open through the 1983 French Open. She never lost in the first or second round of a major, and lost in the third round only twice. Evert holds the record of most consecutive years (13) of winning at least one major title. Evert's career winning percentage in singles matches of 89.97% (1309–146) is the second highest in the Open Era, for men or women. On clay courts, Evert's career winning percentage in singles matches of 94.55% (382–22) remains a WTA Tour record. She also won three major doubles titles, two partnering Navratilova and one partnering Olga Morozova. Evert was born in 1954 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Colette (née Thompson) and Jimmy Evert, and raised in a committed Catholic household. She is a 1973 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale. Evert's father was a professional tennis coach, and tennis was a way of life in his family. Chris and her sister Jeanne became professional tennis players; their brother John played tennis on scholarship at the University of Alabama and later at Vanderbilt University, and brother Drew had a tennis scholarship to Auburn University. Stuntman, stunt coordinator, and second unit director Terry Leonard is regarded as a legend in the film business, having worked with too many Oscar-winning directors and talent to name. Leonard attended the University of Arizona and was a decathlete for the 1964 Olympic trials. Moreover, Terry played professional football for the British Columbia Lions in Vancouver, Canada until his burgeoning football career was abruptly curtailed by a back injury. In the wake of said back injury, Leonard contacted veteran stuntman Chuck Roberson about getting work in Hollywood, California. Terry worked as an extra on the film McLintock! (1963) and performed his first big stunt for the Western movie El Dorado (1966). Leonard subsequently went on to have a long and impressive career as a stuntman, stunt coordinator, and second unit director on a slew of films and a handful of TV shows that have encompassed several decades. In 2003 Terry was the recipient of a Golden Boot Award for his sterling and significant contributions to the Western genre.

Marcelle Ranson-Hervé (10 October 1929 – 3 April 2020) was a French actress. Ranson-Hervé was born in Marseille. Her father, Louis Rançon, was an orchestra conductor, who conducted musicians such as Annie Cordy, Bourvil, and Georges Guétary. Her grandfather, Anthonin Rançon, ran a movie theater in Auriol, which hosted Fernandel. Ranson-Hervé entered the Conservatoire de Paris in 1949, and was in a graduating class alongside Jean Rochefort and Jean-Paul Belmondo. She had a long career as an actress, and gave music lessons at the Conservatoire de Rosny-sous-Bois. Marcelle Ranson-Hervé died on 3 April 2020 in Marseille at the age of 90 due to COVID-19.
