Biography

Marika Nicolette Green (born 21 June 1943) is a Swedish-French actress. She is mostly famous for appearing in Pickpocket (1959) and Emmanuelle (1974). Born in Södermalm, Stockholm, Stockholm County, she left Sweden for France in 1953. She played the lead female role in Robert Bresson's Pickpocket at the age of 16. She is the aunt of Eva Green and older sister of Walter Green, husband of Marlène Jobert. Green married Austrian cinematographer Christian Berger, regular collaborator of Michael Haneke. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Biography

Alan Irwin Menken (born July 12, 1949) is an American composer, pianist, music director, and record producer, best known for his scores and songs for films produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Menken's music for The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), and Pocahontas (1995) has each won him two Academy Awards. He also composed the scores and songs for Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Newsies (1992), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules (1997), Home on the Range (2004), Enchanted (2007), Tangled (2010), and Disenchanted (2022), among others. His accolades include winning eight Academy Awards — becoming the second most prolific Oscar winner in the music categories after Alfred Newman (who has 9 Oscars), a Tony Award, eleven Grammy Awards, seven Golden Globe Awards, and a Daytime Emmy Award. Menken is one of nineteen people to have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony ("an EGOT").

Biography

(Angélica María) Angie Cepeda Jiménez is an actress born on August 2, 1974 in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia). His parents are both lawyers, Yadhira Jiménez and José Cepeda. She lived in Barranquilla before moving to Bogota, where she worked as a model. In the 1990s she began participating in the soap operas "The curse of paradise", "Only a woman" and "Candela". The 1996 Angie debuted in cinema with the film by Sergio Cabrera, Ilona Arrives with the Rain. At the end of the 1990s she strengthened her broadcasting career with the recording of telenovelas such as "Luz Maria", "Las Juanas" and "Pobre Diabla". On the big screen she played one of her best roles with her character of the Colombian in the adaptation of Francisco Lombardi, Pantaleon y Las Visitadoras (2000). Other titles in the filmography of Cepeda are Samy and Me (2002), Argentine comedy co-starring Ricardo Darin, Love for Rent (2005), and The Dead One (2007), horror fantasy co-starring Wilder Valderrama. In the film For the Good of Others (2010) she shared center stage with Eduardo Noriega and Belén Rueda. The actress also took part in "The Protected", "Vientos de agua" and "Fuera de lugar" among other television productions.

Nancy Robertson

Biography

Nancy Robertson is a Canadian actress, best known for portraying Wanda Dollard of the Canadian television series Corner Gas, and for her role as Millie Upton in the series Hiccups. Robertson was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Robertson appeared in the mockumentary film The Delicate Art of Parking with fellow Corner Gas star Fred Ewanuick. She also starred in the CBC sketch comedy series The 11th Hour from 1999 to 2000. She made a brief appearance in Ice Cube's movie Are We There Yet?. She had a brief but memorable guest appearance on Dead Like Me in 2003. She was also in the television mini-series Alice as the dormouse. Robertson is an alumnus of the Vancouver Theatre Sports League improvisational comedy troupe. Beginning March 1, 2010, Robertson stars in the TV series Hiccups on CTV, playing a children's author with anger management problems. Like Corner Gas, the series was created by and co-stars Brent Butt. On November 19, 2005, Nancy married her Corner Gas co-star Brent Butt. They live in Vancouver.

Vyacheslav Tikhonov

Biography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia He was born in Pavlovsky Posad near Moscow. His mother was a kindergarten teacher and his father an engineer in the local textile factory. Vyacheslav dreamed of acting but his parents envisioned a different career, and during the war he worked in a munitions factory. After employment as a metal worker, he began [training for an] acting career in 1945 by entering, not without difficulty, the Actors’ Faculty of VGIK. After graduating VGIK with honours in 1950, he began his acting career on stage of Theatre Studio of Film Actor, where he worked for six years. In 1948 he married Nonna Mordyukova, a popular actress at the time (the couple had one son, Vladimir, also an actor who died in 1990). The marriage was dissolved in 1963. Later Tikhonov married a second time to Tamara Ivanovna Tikhonova and had one child with her, Anna Tikhonova (also an actor) in 1969. He died on 4 December 2009 in Moscow, Russia. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has expressed his condolences to Tikhonov's family.

Her other roles include various guest-starring roles on TV shows. Prior to her role as Marisa Perkins, she had a featured role as Alice McRaven, the best friend of Sandy Duncan's character, Sandy Stockton on Funny Face, in the 1970s. In 1990, the two worked together again when Ms. Armstrong had a guest role as Mrs. Gordon, in an episode of Miss Duncan's later series, The Hogan Family.
