Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. ​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Drexel Jerome Lewis Bixby (January 11, 1923 in Los Angeles, California – April 28, 1998 in San Bernardino, California) was an American short story writer, editor and scriptwriter, best known for his work in science fiction. He also wrote many westerns and used the pseudonyms D. B. Lewis, Harry Neal, Albert Russell, J. Russell, M. St. Vivant, Thornecliff Herrick and Alger Rome (for one collaboration with Algis Budrys). He is most famous for the 1953 story "It's a Good Life" which was the basis for a 1961 episode of The Twilight Zone and which was included in Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983). He also wrote four episodes for the Star Trek series: "Mirror, Mirror", "Day of the Dove", "Requiem for Methuselah", and "By Any Other Name". With Otto Klement, he co-wrote the story upon which the classic sci-fi movie Fantastic Voyage (1966), television series, and novel by Isaac Asimov were based. Jonathan Corbblah

Biography

Jonathan Corbblah (born October 21, 1979) is an American game show competitor and USCF expert chess player. At one point in 2013, his regular rating came within one point (2199) of him achieving the coveted master title. His game show debut was in 1991 at age 12, when he appeared on Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?. He has appeared on 13 game show programs and NPR radio show Ask Me Another. In 2019, he became a "Trivia Expert" on the game show Best Ever Trivia Show as well as it's reincarnation Master Minds. He co-hosted two chess entertainment programs, America's Next Chess Star and the Extreme Chess Championship with US Women's Chess Champion Jennifer Shahade. He coaches chess for national champions PS 166 and the Trinity School.

Born in 1977, Camille Chamoux studied in hypokhâgne and khâgne. She went on to study acting at the Conservatoire du 7e arrondissement, as well as at the Théâtre du Rond-point. In 2008, she made her first steps in television, in various successful series such as "Clem" and "WorkinGirls". Dan Hennessey

Biography

Canadian voice actor who, early on in his career, performed with a children's comedy troupe (with John Stocker, Bruce Gordon, Harriet Cohen, and Jerelyn Homer). That same year, he played Claudius, King of Denmark in his first film, a Canadian adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet play. A decade later, he was the voice of Chief Quimby and other characters on DiC's Inspector Gadget and starred as Dizzy in Nelvana's first feature film, Rock & Rule. His best-known role is the voice of Brave Heart Lion in the animated Care Bears franchise (he also voiced Loyal Heart Dog as well as the Irish voice of Good Luck Bear on an episode of the television series).

Carl Warren Reindel (January 20, 1935 – September 4, 2009) was an American actor, known for portraying Lieutenant Kenneth M. Taylor in the epic war film Tora! Tora! Tora!. He also played "Stanton" in Steve McQueen's hit film Bullitt (1968) and "Lt. Comroe" in classic science fiction film The Andromeda Strain (1971). He also made several appearances on popular TV series. In 1964, he appeared on Perry Mason as defendant and title character Barry Davis in "The Case of the Drifting Dropout," and in 1966 he played golf caddy and murderer Danny Bright in "The Case of the Golfer's Gambit." In 1966, Episode 25, on the series, Gidget, he played Scott Baker, a paid watchful eye, to make sure Gidget was safe on a weekend away at a surfboard competition. He also appeared on Gunsmoke (S7E31 - "Cale"), as the title named young cowboy set on doing things his way, but usually for good, The F.B.I., Bonanza, The Virginian (as Carl Reindell), and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and also played the son of a man bent on vengeance on the western series Wagon Train before leaving show business in the early 1980s.

Looking for opportunities outside of the stigmatized band, drummer Hona Ikoka has decided to become an actress. She has signed with Oscar Promotion, home of the likes of Aya Ueto and Yonekura Ryoko. For her acting career, Hona Ikoka will become “Sato Honami.” She will be using her real name as an actress but using the hiragana form (さとうほなみ) as opposed to the kanji form (佐藤穂奈美). Richard Erdman

Richard Erdman (June 1, 1925 - March 16, 2019) was an American film and television actor and director. In a career that has spanned seven decades, his best known roles are that of the barracks chief Hoffy in Stalag 17, and McNulty in the classic Twilight Zone episode "A Kind of a Stopwatch". In Tora Tora Tora he played Colonel Edward F. French, the officer who responded to the failure to transmit the warning to Pearl Harbor using Army radio to instead use commercial telegraph rather than using the Navy or FBI radio systems. Erdman appeared as the blackmailer, Arthur Binney, in the Perry Mason first season TV episode "The Case Of The Gilded Lily" aired May 24, 1958. In 1960, he co-starred with Tab Hunter in the short-lived The Tab Hunter Show on NBC, which aired opposite The Ed Sullivan Show on CBS and Lawman with John Russell on ABC. He was very funny when he appeared as a Broadway wardrobe man named Buck Brown on "The Dick Van Dyke Show". In 1962, Erdman had a recurring role as Klugie, the photographer, in the short-lived Nick Adams-John Larkin NBC series Saints and Sinners.
