Jaroslav Vozáb

Biography

Christy Johnson

Biography

Christy Johnson is an up-and-coming triple threat in the film, stage, and music industries. She has been submerged in the arts since she was signed to Marilyn's Model and Talent Agency at six months old and started off in print modeling and pageants. She went on to acquire the title of Miss Greensboro. She landed her first leading role in community theatre in sixth grade and soon fell in love with musical theatre, which she studied through high school and college before earning her MA and BA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The UNCG Alumni Association honored her with the Young Alumni Award for her accomplishments in the industry. She has performed in several professional musical theatre productions, though her current acting concentration is focused on film, television, commercials and music videos. Her experience as a vocalist goes back to the age of two, when she had memorized all of the commercial jingles on television and would sing along. She began choral training in fifth grade and was a member of her school's top auditioned ensemble/show choir in eighth grade. Later, she sang with the Gold Madrigals at Grimsley High School, and performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as two international tours in Europe. A notable solo performance was when she sang for the Mayor of Greensboro at the 75th Anniversary celebration of the Carolina Theatre, entitled "Thrill of The Showplace". She went on to form Dreamkiller [Independent Artist Music Awards Rock Band Of The Year], a melodic hard rock band that presents elements of soulful melodies, jazzy harmonies, catchy rock hooks and prides themselves on colorful lyrics that include positive themes of strength, perseverance, conquering your fears head-on, as well as pushing with no limits to accomplish your goals. Through that endeavor she has been recognized with numerous awards, including Los Angeles Music Awards National Female Vocal Performer of The Year and International Music & Entertainment Awards Rock Female Vocalist of The Year. Music from Dreamkiller has been featured in over 15 different films, many of which have been released worldwide and have also won numerous awards. Their track "Lyrik's Battle" was named as #7 of the Top 10 Most Requested Tracks on the nationally syndicated FM/internet broadcast Rock Solid Pressure Show. They have played the main stage of Rockapalooza, performed at the Vans Warped Tour, toured nationally and in Canada, including numerous music conferences in support of their full-length concept album "Sleepless Dreams". They have also released numerous singles and worked with Grammy award winning producer, Toby Wright. Christy's brand new solo music is unveiling a compelling level of depth to her well-rounded aptitude in songwriting and vocal ability. This is reflected in her latest accolade from the Producer's Choice Honors as "Outstanding Female Singer Songwriter" for the Las Vegas F.A.M.E. Awards. Christy's debut releases include "Shadows of My Soul", "The Devil's Den", "Fuel The Sun" and "One Day at a Time", with much more music on the way.
