Biography

Jeffrey Cobb is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he is a member of the United Empire stable. Prior to coming to NJPW, Cobb wrestled in Lucha Underground (as the masked wrestler Matanza Cueto), Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He is a former PWG World Champion and is also the winner of PWG's 2018 Battle of Los Angeles tournament and a former one-time World Tag Team Champion with Matt Riddle. In NJPW, he is also a former NEVER Openweight Champion and a two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion (with Great-O-Khan). In ROH, he is a former ROH Television Champion.

Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Penelope Mitchell

Penelope Mitchell (born July 24, 1991) is an Australian actress, best known for playing the role of Letha Godfrey on the American horror television series Hemlock Grove and Liv Parker on The Vampire Diaries. She is a cousin of actress Radha Mitchell. Mitchell finished in the top one-percent of her graduating year, with an International Baccalaureate diploma. She attended Melbourne University, with the intention of becoming a lawyer. During her time there she continued to perform and wrote prolifically for various publications. Mitchell completed her undergraduate degree in Arts: Media Communication, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She began acting a few years before she landed her role on Hemlock Grove, appearing on television shows.

Sasa Handa

Biography

Sasa Handa is a Japanese model, actress and former AV Idol who was born on April 18, 1985 in Okinawa, Japan. She has also used the name Chieri Haruyama. Under the name Chieri Haruyama she appeared in a number of wrestling catfight videos beginning in September 2003. The DVD series, Idol Fight MetoMix, was produced from full-length live wrestling tournaments with the women attired in bikinis. She appeared in volumes 1-2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 of the series released over the period from September 2003 to October 2004. She also starred in a number of "gravure" videos starting at least as early as December 2003 with the DVD release Computer Angels Vol. 2. By August 2005, she was using the name Sasa Handa and was featured in the erotic horror V-Cinema film Onna Onmyōji - Jain kakusei directed by Shōji Tsuyoshi and released by TMC. Handa also appeared in other media including a regular role in the TV show Yarisugi kōji as well as appearances on the TV Asahi variety show Kusano Kid and the TV Tokyo documentary Kyuuyo meisai. In February 2006 she appeared in the movie Tōkyō Daigaku Monogatari as the character Eri Suzuki, in what was her first nude role. Tōkyō Daigaku Monogatari was produced by the adult video studio Soft On Demand and soon afterwards that studio announced that Handa had signed with them as an AV actress. She made her AV debut with SOD in July 2006 with the video Debut. Despite only performing in AV for the second half of 2006, Handa received a number of awards for that year's work. At the 5th Annual SOD Awards in 2006, Handa received the SOD Award for contributions to the company's sales and images, the Best New Actress Award, and one of the Actress Awards for Excellence. She was also given one of the Best New Actress Awards for Excellence from the AV Actress Grand Prix contest in 2006. Additionally, All About AV columnist Kemuta Otsubo picked Handa as #3 on his list of the ten top AV actresses for 2006. In addition to continuing her AV career, in 2007 Handa also appeared in the role of Koichi Omote in three V-Cinema releases of the popular erotic comedy action series Kekko Kamen: Kekko Kamen Royale, Kekko Kamen Premium and Kekko Kamen Forever. Her co-star in the series was fellow AV actress Maria Ozawa. She was also a featured player in the May 2007 theatrical movie, Zero Woman R, part of the Zero Woman film series. Later in 2007, Handa starred in the V-Cinema erotic horror production Undead Pool, also known as Attack Girls Swim Team vs the Unliving Dead, which was released in Japan in December 2007 and with English subtitles in the US in December 2008. Anna Netrebko

Biography

Anna Yuryevna Netrebko (born 18 September 1971) is a Russian-Austrian operatic soprano with an active international career who has performed prominently at the Salzburg Festival, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, and The Royal Opera. Discovered and promoted by Valery Gergiev, she began her career at the Mariinsky Theatre, collaborating with the conductor in the theater and performances elsewhere. She was noticed globally after playing Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the 2002 Salzburg Festival. She had been known for her rendition of lyric and coloratura soprano roles but proceeded into heavier 19th-century romantic roles, such as Leonora in Il trovatore and the role of Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Since 2016, she has turned her focus to verismo repertoire. In 2015 she married Azerbaijani tenor Yusif Eyvazov, with whom she has been performing frequently since. She has been an exclusive artist for Deutsche Grammophon since 2002. She has won multiple Echo Klassik Awards, and was included on the Time 100 list in 2007. She was named a People's Artist of Russia in 2008, and an Austrian Kammersängerin in 2017.

Actress Ashley Dyke is best known for her roles as Anna in Steve McQueen's Academy Award winning film "12 Years A Slave", and as Stacey in John Krasinski's "The Hollars". Ashley was raised in Fairfax, Virginia. She is the daughter of two lawyers, Ellen Dyke and the Honorable James W. Dyke, Jr., the first African-American Secretary of Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia and immediate past Chairman of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. Her mother is Jewish of Hungarian and Polish decent and was born and raised in New York City. Her father is an African-American Christian and was raised in Maryland and Virginia. They met at Howard University School of Law from which they received their law degrees. Ashley is the third of four children She went to Fairfax High School where she was highly involved in student government and was an All American Athlete. She went on to get her degree in theater from the prestigious University of Virginia, and also studied at the celebrated New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she acquired her first taste of television as a series regular on a campus produced show called "Stratagem." She also performed in several productions while in college including a lead role in "The Vagina Monologues". Ashley moved to Los Angeles to further her career in film and television and hasn't looked back since. She continues to work in theater landing lead roles at theaters including, Second City, Acme Theater, and La Mirada Theater For the Performing Arts. Building a solid career in Hollywood in both comedy and drama. Ashley most recently guest starred on Robin Williams show on CBS "The Crazy Ones", the series finale of Stephen Merchant's HBO show "Hello Ladies", CBS's season finale of "CSI: NY," NBC's "The Cape", and the CW's "90210." Ashley has successfully portrayed a wide range of characters, a young tormented slave in "12 Years A Slave", the wildly outrageous Gigi in "Bud'z House", a young girl struggling in a half-way house in the thriller "New Hope Manor"; on stage, as a young woman surviving a concentration camp in "I Never Saw Another Butterfly.", and as a young black woman living in the segregated 1940"s Ohio, in the theater production of Toni Morrison's, "The Bluest Eye".

Buddy Campbell

Biography

Buddy Campbell grew up in the Ozark Foothills of Arkansas. While getting his degree from Arkansas Tech University he took several jobs including a position with his hometown newspaper as a movie critic. While getting paid to watch every movie that came to town, he became hooked on the cinema. He got leads in college plays but when he graduated he thought his acting career was over. For the next twenty years or so he made a living in the real world doing "real" jobs but his love for movies never died. In 2013, he answered an open casting call for a feature film that was dear to his heart. The movie was called Greater and it was the true story of one of his beloved Arkansas Razorback football players who died tragically in a car crash several years earlier. He auditioned for the movie and was asked to play the role of a high school teacher in the movie. While he had no lines, the experience of being on a genuine movie set gave him the bug to do more of it. He decided to attend a class for new actors at Excel Models and Talent in Little Rock. The experience of working with like-minded people as well as the words of wisdom from owner Melissa Moody cemented his desire to make acting his new life goal. He was cast by producer James Wood in a short movie called Hare Trigger directed by Donavon Thompson. His performance in Hare Trigger was noticed. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to join the cast of a feature film called The Boo. This was followed by a string of offers that included more feature films and movie shorts as well as a TV series and a commercial. He finally believes his life is on the path he was destined for and couldn't be happier with the results so far.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Bess Flowers (November 23, 1898 – July 28, 1984) was an American actress. By some counts considered the most prolific actress in the history of Hollywood, she was known as "The Queen of the Hollywood Extras," appearing in over 700 movies in her 41 year career. Born in Sherman, Texas, Flowers's film debut came in 1923, when she appeared in Hollywood. She made three films that year, and then began working extensively. Many of her appearances are uncredited, as she generally played non-speaking roles. By the 1930s, Flowers was in constant demand. Her appearances ranged from Alfred Hitchcock and John Ford thrillers to comedic roles alongside of Charley Chase, the Three Stooges, Leon Errol, Edgar Kennedy, and Laurel and Hardy. She appeared in the following five films which won the Academy Award for Best Picture: It Happened One Night, You Can't Take it with You, All About Eve, The Greatest Show on Earth, and Around the World in Eighty Days. In each of these movies, Flowers was uncredited. Including these five movies, she had appeared in twenty-three Best Picture nominees in total, making her the record holder for most appearances in films nominated for the award. Her last movie was Good Neighbor Sam in 1964. Flowers's acting career was not confined to feature films. She was also seen in many episodic American TV series, such as I Love Lucy, notably in episodes, "Lucy Is Enceinte" (1952), "Ethel's Birthday" (1955), and "Lucy's Night in Town" (1957), where she is usually seen as a theatre patron. Outside her acting career, in 1945, Bess Flowers helped to found the Screen Extras Guild (active: 1946-1992, then merged with SAG), where she served as one of its first vice-presidents and recording secretaries.

Howard Winchester Hawks (May 30, 1896 – December 26, 1977) was an American film director, producer and screenwriter of the classic Hollywood era. He is popular for his films from a wide range of genres, including screwball comedies [Bringing Up Baby (1938), His Girl Friday (1940), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)], westerns [Red River (1948), Rio Bravo (1959), El Dorado (1967)], adventure films [Only Angels Have Wings (1939), To Have and Have Not (1944)], films noirs [The Big Sleep (1946)] and gangster films [Scarface (1932)]. Notable characteristics of his films are independent and tough-talking female protagonists ("Hawksian woman") and witty and fast-paced dialogues. In 1975, Hawks was awarded the Honorary Academy Award as "a master American filmmaker whose creative efforts hold a distinguished place in world cinema," and in 1942 he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director for Sergeant York. Hawks has been considered by film critics to be an auteur because of his recognizable style and frequent use of certain thematic elements. Andrew Sarris in his influential book of film criticism The American Cinema: Directors and Directions 1929–1968 included him in the "pantheon" of the 14 greatest film directors who had worked in the United States.
