Lola Marois-Bigard

Biography

Lola Marois, born in Paris, also known as Lola Marois-Bigard and Lola Bigard, is a French singer and comedian. She was born in about 1983. Marois's father was a fashion photographer; her mother was a writer of Algerian descent. She grew up in Spain, Los Angeles and Paris, where she earned a degree in literature with a minor in theater, and a DEUG in modern literature. She then took a Cours Florent at the Oscar Sisto Academy. She made her theatrical debut at 12 playing more than 10 pieces of Parisian theater from baroque to contemporary. Next, she played comic roles in the Théâtre Comédia, Théâtre Hébertot, Théâtre Saint-Georges. In May 2011 she married comedian Jean-Marie Bigard, with the mayor of the 7th arrondissement of Paris officiating. The couple became the parents of identical twins in 2013. Five years later, in 2017, Marois started a recurring role as Ariane Hersant in Plus belle la vie, a popular soap opera. She has released an album of pop music, Lola Marois, in Spain. Laurence Rickard

Laurence Carl "Larry" Rickard (born 14 June 1975) is an English actor, writer and comedian. He is best known for his roles in the TV series Horrible Histories (2009-2013), Yonderland (2013-2016), and Ghosts (2019-). He also appeared and co-wrote for the film Bill (2015). He is also one half of the comedy writing/performance duo "Larry and George" with George Sawyer. He has written for numerous UK comedy shows, notably including The Armstrong and Miller Show (2007–2010), The Charlotte Church Show (2006–2008) and The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson (2009–2011), as well as children's programme Me and My Monsters (2010–2011). He is perhaps best known for his role as a principal cast member, lyricist and writer for the award-winning CBBC programme Horrible Histories, in particular for creating and performing the character of 'Special Correspondent' Bob Hale. He has also appeared regularly on the spin-off game show Horrible Histories: Gory Games and in the Horrible Histories BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. He is also the co-creator, -writer and -star of Yonderland, a family fantasy comedy series that premiered on SkyOne on 10 November 2013. In addition, he is the co-writer of Bill, a BBC-produced comedy film which is based loosely around the early life of William Shakespeare. He is also a writer and performer on Tracey Ullman's Show (2016–2018) and Tracey Breaks the News (2017–2018). He co-wrote and starred in the 2019 BBC sitcom Ghosts. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Danielle Andrea Harris (born June 1, 1977) is an American actress. She is known as a "scream queen" for her roles in multiple horror films, including four entries in the Halloween franchise: two films as Jamie Lloyd (Halloween 4 and 5; 1988–89), and the Halloween remake and its sequel as Annie Brackett (2007–09). Other such roles include Tosh in Urban Legend (1998), Belle in Stake Land (2010), and Marybeth Dunston in the Hatchet series (2010–17). In 2012, she was inducted into the Fangoria Hall of Fame. Harris began her career as a child actress, with various appearances on television and prominent roles in films such as Marked for Death (1990), Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991), The Last Boy Scout (1991), Free Willy (1993) and Daylight (1996). Stephen Arthur Frears (born 20 June 1941) is an English director and producer. He has directed numerous acclaimed films since the early 1980s, including My Beautiful Laundrette (1985), Dangerous Liaisons (1988), The Grifters (1990), High Fidelity (2000), The Queen (2006), Philomena (2013), Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), and Victoria & Abdul (2017). He has received two nominations for the Academy Award for Best Director. Frears is also known for his work on various television programs, including Fail Safe (2000), The Deal (2003), Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (2013), A Very English Scandal (2018), State of the Union (2019), and Quiz (2020). Soviet film director, screenwriter, actor. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (03.17.1964). People's Artist of the RSFSR (7.01.1977). People's Artist of the USSR (10/14/1983). Vladimir Basov went to the front in July 1941. First, the lieutenant of the quartermaster’s service, Basov served as the head of the club of the 4th Separate Rifle Brigade, for the excellent organization of amateur performances in combat conditions, he was awarded the medal "For Military Merit". And then his military fate makes a sharp turn and Vladimir Basov becomes a mortar man. A lot of feats were made by the mortar battery of senior lieutenant Basov, he was wounded on February 23, 1945, returned to service after being wounded. The war ended with the rank of captain and as deputy chief of the operational department of the 28th separate artillery division of the breakthrough of the reserve of the High Command. In 1947 he entered the directing department (workshop of Yutkevich and Romm). Member of the CPSU (b) since 1948. Since 1952 - director of the Mosfilm film studio. In 1952, after graduating from VGIK, as an assistant director, he participated in the filming of the film "Przhevalsky" (the director of the film was his teacher Sergei Yutkevich). The first directorial work was a film adaptation of the performance of the Theater Studio of the film actor "The Workman" (1953, together with Mstislav Korchagin). As a film actor he made his debut in his film School of Courage (1954). He starred in more than 80 films. Vladimir Basov is a brilliant character and comedian. One of the best directorial work of Vladimir Basov was the film "Shield and Sword" (1968). Vladimir Basov died on the morning of September 17, 1987 from a second stroke in his Moscow apartment. He was buried at the Kuntsevsky cemetery in Moscow.

Jaromír Kallista

Biography

Jaromír Kallista was born on December 18, 1939 in Prague. As a production graduate of Prague Film Academy (1959-1964), he worked at Barrandov Studios until 1970, when he decided to operate outside the state system as an independent film-maker. In this period he worked on the production unit for a number of feature films by Evald Schorm and Antonín Máša, as well as several documentaries. From 1973 to 1988 he was head of production at the Laterna Magica. Since 1989 he has taught at FAMU (Prague Film Academy). In 1983, together with Jan Švankmajer, he formed an independent film production company that, in 1992, became a legal entity with the creation of ATHANOR Ltd.

Pierre Nougaro

Biography

Pierre Nougaro (27 April 1904 in Toulouse - 26 October 1988 in Marseille) was a French operatic baritone, the father of the singer Claude Nougaro. As a child, Nougaro enrolled in the evening classes of the Conservatoire de Toulouse at the instigation of his parents, who were themselves choristers. He obtained a first prize for singing. Nougaro was director of the Théâtre Ledoux in Besançon in the 1950s and then of the Rennes theatre in 1958. In Rennes, Nougaro increased audiences by expanding the repertoire, including operettas in the season, and a world premiere every year. He also brought in the famous opera stars. In 1967, he retired from the Rennes theatre (later called the Opéra de Rennes). From the 1970s and for many years to come, his dramatic talent opened the door to a new career in television and film.
