Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Rena Murakami

Biography

Rena Murakami is a Japanese actress and former AV idol. After beginning her career as a gravure idol, Murakami made her adult video (AV) debut in the March 1988 h.m.p. Miss Christine release, Hatsujō Kansen (発情感染). In December of her debut year she also had a role in Toei's mainstream drama release, Koiko no mainichi (恋子の毎日). In addition to continuing her AV career, Murakami had another role in a mainstream drama, appearing in Bandai Visual's Shin dōtei monogatari: Hong Kong virgin boy (新・童貞物語 ホンコンバージンボーイ) in March 1990. Also in 1990 she appeared in pioneering pink film director/producer Kan Mukai's Code Name 348: Onna keiji sashiba (コードネーム348 女刑事 サシバ). She also had roles in a number of V-Cinema films. Her work became popular in Hong Kong, and led to her getting roles in several Category III films of Hong Kong cinema, starting around 1991. Her most significant film there was the 1991 cult favorite, Sex and Zen. In a review of the DVD release of Sex and Zen, a reviewer described her as one of "Asian cinema's most beautiful actresses". Her last film in Hong Kong, 1/3 Lover, was released in 1993. There was a minor scandal when news leaked that she might have had sex with the Sultan of Brunei during his visit to Japan in 1993. For several years starting in the late 1990s, she toured various strip theaters around Japan, such as the famous Asakusa Rokku-za (ロック座). In 1997, she produced and starred in the pink film Murakami Rena: kyūkyoku meigizuma (村上麗奈 究極名器妻), through Runa Films. The film was distributed theatrically by XCes, scripted by pink film actress Kiyomi Itō, and directed by Satoru Kobayashi, director of the first pink film, Flesh Market (1962). The film was re-issued in June 2003 as 村上麗奈 極上けいれん妻. Later, Murakami had a small part in the 2008 Japanese comedy, Serial Dad. Since 2018, Rena Murakami has been a radio personality on a talk radio program in Osaka.

Lamberto Maggiorani

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Lamberto Maggiorani (28 August 1909; Rome – 22 April 1983; Rome) was an Italian actor notable for his portrayal of Antonio Ricci in Ladri di Biciclette ("Bicycle Thieves"). He was a factory worker (he worked as a turner) and non-professional actor at the time he was cast in this film. After he became famous by his performance in Ladri di Biciclette, he also found himself being unemployed and this forced him to become a full-time actor. David Proval

David Aaron Proval (born May 20, 1942) is an American actor, known for his roles as Richie Aprile on the HBO television series The Sopranos and as Tony DeVienazo in the 1973 Martin Scorsese film Mean Streets opposite Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel. Proval was born in Brooklyn, New York of Jewish heritage,  the son of actress Clara Katz of Romanian origin.  He has appeared in such feature films as The Shawshank Redemption, Mob Queen, Four Rooms, UHF, Innocent Blood, The Siege, a cameo appearance in Smokin' Aces, and has had recurring roles in television shows such as Picket Fences, Boomtown and Everybody Loves Raymond. In 1977 his voice was heard in the cult animated film WIZARDS, as the robot assassin Necron 99. In 2008, David Proval starred in the comedy City of Shoulders and Noses. The film is being produced by Sybil Danning, George Parra, and Tommy Ardolino. Diana Napier

Biography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Diana Napier (31 January 1905 – 12 March 1982) was an English film actress. She was born Alice Mary Ellis in Bath, Somerset and died in Windlesham, Surrey, aged 77. Napier, known to her family as "Mollie", was married three times. Her first husband was the actor G.H. Mulcaster whom she married in 1927 and later divorced. Her second was the Austrian tenor, Richard Tauber (1891–1948), to whom she was married from 1936 until his death, and her third was the Polish artist, Stanislaw Wolkowicki (1902-1965), whom she had met during the war and married in 1953. He died in 1965, and she was buried with him in the Churchyard of St Michael and All Angels, Sunningdale, Berkshire in 1982. Napier was the daughter of Major APB Ellis, an ENT specialist and sometime army surgeon, and Alice Napier. She took her mother's maiden name as her screen name. Having spent much of her childhood in South Africa, where she attended the Maris Stella School in Durban, the family returned to England and she embarked on a stage career. After a few years in repertory, she was offered a screen test by Alexander Korda, and made a few films before he dropped her. She then appeared in 1935 opposite Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. in Mimi, a film directed by Paul L. Stein, a childhood friend of Richard Tauber, who had directed Tauber's first British film Blossom Time in 1934. It was through Paul Stein she met Tauber, and appeared with him in three films made in 1935/36, the first of them, Heart's Desire, under Stein's direction. For five years, 1935 until 1940, she rented the Villa Capri at Elstree, where she lived with Tauber from the time of their marriage. In April 1940 she joined the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry, and after basic training joined an Ambulance Unit in Scotland, where she cared for Polish Soldiers, eventually becoming an NCO in a Polish unit. She later joined the Polish Welfare Unit in London, early in 1945 she travelled to Holland with the Red Cross to care for Polish soldiers escaping from Germany, and after VE Day moved to Meppen in Germany, receiving a high commendation from General Clemens Rudnicki for her work on behalf of Polish Servicemen. Shortly before Tauber's death, she set up an artists studio in Beauchamp Place, which became the design and display company Diana Display Ltd. (later DNT Associates) based in Parsons Green, Fulham, London. She published a biography of her husband in 1949, a volume of autobiography (My Heart and I, 1959), and collaborated with Charles Castle on This was Richard Tauber, a book and a film issued in 1971 to mark what would have been Tauber's 80th birthday.

Jane Watson

Biography

Jane Watson is a professional stage and film actress, writer and entrepreneur. She started performing in elementary school and has never looked back. Discovering her passion for theatre motivated her to study as much as she could as a young artist; she was one of the first teenagers to attend the Centre in the Square Summer School for the Performing Arts. That experience came full circle when, after completing her undergraduate degree in Theatre at U of T and her Masters from Binghamton University in New York, she was asked to teach and direct at the same school. Since she is a believer in life long education, Jane has continued to take acting courses, most recently completing intensives with Matthew Harrison and the Actor's Foundry based in Vancouver. Jane performs regularly in TV and film; most recently in the blockbuster "Pacific Rim" directed by Guillermo del Toro. Her stage life is varied and active, and she was seen last at the Fergus Grand Theatre in "Murder by Natural Causes", and plans to reappear at this same theatre in "Peter Pan" this fall. Before that, she will appear in "Asphalt Jungle Shorts: The DecaDance" as part of the Impact 2013 Festival. Jane will also be shooting several short films this fall, including "Crystal Aggregate."

Prior to his acting career, he became a world recognized dancer in the world of Salsa, traveling extensively to teach and perform at Salsa festivals and events world-wide. Several more tv shows upcoming like Stalker on CBS, Revenge on ABC and Criminal Minds on CBS. He also is due to star in two upcoming features - Bad Ass 2 starring Danny Trejo and Danny Glover and has the lead role in the feature, La Guapa (The Beautiful One), as Detective Antonio Pensiero, both completed and scheduled for release in 2014. Ryan Hansen (born July 5, 1981) is an American actor, best known for having portrayed Dick Casablancas on Veronica Mars and Nolan in Friday the 13th. He also played Kyle on the Starz show Party Down. Hansen was born in Fountain Valley, California and raised in El Cajon, California, but has since moved with his wife Amy to L.A. Hansen began acting with guest starring roles on series such as Grounded for Life, That's So Raven, and Las Vegas. In 2004, Hansen auditioned for the role of Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars but lost out to Teddy Dunn. However, Rob Thomas told him to try out for the role of Dick Casablancas. He is set to play Ted Warner a new addition to the cast in the 4th Season of the popular television show House Of Cards. Ryan is involved in the campaign Invisible Children and has appeared in the online series The LXD, of which 50% of the profits is going to the Invisible Children Campaign. In 2008, Hansen appeared in Superhero Movie, released on March 28. Also in 2008, Hansen appeared in the CCT original musical Alice as Trevor McKnight/ White Night. The show opened on July 31 and ran through August 10, in San Diego. Hansen will appear as a series regular on the upcoming sitcom Friends with Benefits, which will air on NBC as a midseason replacement during the 2010-11 television season. Magda Vizcaíno

Biography

Daughter of José de Jesús Vizcaíno, one of the most prolific writers of the golden age of radio in Mexico. Since the beginning of her career, her voice has accompanied the history of Radio UNAM, Radio Educación, IMER, XEW and XEQ. Graduated from INBA and CUT, she was part of the National Theater Company of UNAM, which with the plays Divinas Palabras (dir. Juan Ibáñez) and Olímpica (dir. Héctor Azar) toured various cities in Europe during 1964 and 1965, winning multiple awards. For the play La Ronda de las Arpías (dir. Mercedes de la Cruz, Pablo Leder) she was recognized as Best Supporting Actress in 1991. Throughout her life she has participated in dozens of plays. On television, her first role was as a storyteller on a program that was broadcast every Sunday on Channel Five. Later she participated in teletheaters, soap operas and educational programs, among which Santa (Miguel Sabido) and Fonda Susilla stand out. In cinema, she started with films such as Para servir a usted, Maten al león and Los indolentes by José Estrada and Divinas Palabras and A Fuego Lento by Juan Ibáñez. Her voice was immortalized as the narrator of the classic El grito, México 1968, by Leobardo López Arretche. With her performance in Martha, by Marcelino Islas, which debuted at the Venice Critics' Week, she conquered audiences around the world and was recognized in Mexico with the Ariel for Best Actress. In 2019, she starred in Encuentro, by Ivan Löwenberg, becoming one of the eldest actresses ever to portray an LGBT+ character.

s an American professional wrestler working under the ring name of Annie Social. She has worked for the promotions Juggalo Championship Wrestling, Women Superstars Underground, IWA Mid-South and Women's Extreme Wrestling among others. Becker broke into the wrestling business in 2002. A promoter for Women's Extreme Wrestling found her at a bar she worked at in Center City (Philadelphia) and asked her if she wanted to oil wrestle. She started training in Pro Wrestling at PWU's Animal House with Trent Acid, Gary Wolfe and Mike Kehner. GLOOW aka DWOW Joined the promotion as Casey and later changed her name to Annie Social. Naked Women's Wrestling League Social debuted in the Naked Women's Wrestling League in 2006, at their Naked Revolution pay-per-view. In 2008, she was challenged by adult film actress Trina Michaels. Women Superstars Uncensored (2007) She debuted in Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) on December 22, 2007 in a losing match against Alexa Thatcher. Later in the night she wrestled against Alere Little Feather but their match went to a No Contest. In early 2008 she teamed with Roxie Cotton forming the Beatdown Betties, accompanied to the ring by Rick Cataldo. On October 11, 2008 they took part in a Tag Team Tournament to declare the first WSU Tag Team Champions. In the first round they defeated the team of Melissa Coates and Trixxie Lynn. They also defeated the team of Miss April and Malia Hosaka. In the final round they defeated Amy Lee and Missy Sampson to became the first ever WSU Tag Team Champions. She debuted as part of the first Show where she was able to score an easy pinfall over the Canadian Mary Lollipop. As part of the second show she was able to defeat Amber, a former wrestler for WSU. In the third show she was able to score two win against Mia Yim and Autumn Breeze. On January 9, 2010 Annie Social defeated Sumie Sakai in a match that also saw involved the D-Factor. She had her first title match against Sara Del Rey for the JAPW Women's Championship at Notorious Thunder on May 22, 2010 due to her undefeated streak. However she suffered her first loss and wasn't able to win the title.
