From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Emmanuelle Riva was a French actress, best known for her roles in the films Hiroshima mon amour and Amour. In 2013, Riva won the BAFTA Award and the César Award for her lead role in Michael Haneke's Amour as Anne Laurent, and was nominated for the Academy Award for the same role.[2][3] She had previously been nominated for a BAFTA Award in 1960 for Hiroshima mon amour, and had won Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival in 1962 for Thérèse Desqueyroux.

Daniel Mays was born on March 31, 1978 in Epping, Essex, England as Daniel Alan Mays. He is an actor, known for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (2011), The Bank Job (2008) and Atonement (2007). He has performed five plays at the Royal Court Theatre in London including two in the theatre's 50th Anniversary year in parts that were specifically written for him. He won the Best Actor prize at the Palmare Television Festival 2003 for his performance in the hard hitting improvised BBC film Rehab. He has made two films with the acclaimed British director Mike Leigh. Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Helene Millard

Biography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Helene Millard (September 30, 1905 – September 20, 1974) was an American supporting actress of the 1930s and 1940s. She started her film career in a featured role in 1929's The Thirteenth Chair. During the 1930s, she appeared in 18 films, mostly in supporting or featured roles, but her roles diminished near the end of the decade. She made six films at the beginning of the 1940s, all in supporting roles, after which she left the film industry in 1942. She returned to films briefly in 1952-53, when she made four more films, before leaving the film industry for good. Her final film appearance was in a small role in Remains to Be Seen (1953), starring June Allyson and Van Johnson. During the early 1950s, she appeared in several television shows, as well, before retiring for good in 1954 after an appearance on Topper. She died on September 20, 1974, in Laguna Hills, California.

Ricardo López-Nuño Díez, better known as Ricardo Palacios, was a Spanish actor, film director and screenwriter. Born in Reinosa (Cantabria), Palacios graduated from the Official Film School in Madrid as an actor and director. He debuted in the 1961 TV series Poly. He participated in about 150 films and television series, being mainly active in the Spaghetti Western genre, and he was also a recurring presence in films directed by Jesús Franco. In 1987, Palacios made his directorial debut with the comedy film ¡Biba la Banda!, starring Alfredo Landa, and in 1997 he directed the TV-series La Banda de Pérez. After spending over a month in hospital with heart problems, Ricardo died on 11 February 2015 of heart failure.

Charles Andre Martinet (born September 17, 1955) is an American actor, who formerly portrayed both Mario and Luigi in the Super Mario video game series. Martinet developed the voices of the Mario brothers first used in mainline entries from 1996 to 2022. He also voiced other characters in the series such as Wario, Waluigi, and their baby equivalents, prior to stepping down as voice actor to become an official brand ambassador for the series. Nuufolau Joel "Joe" Seanoa is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Samoa Joe. He is currently under contract with WWE. He has also worked for the Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Noah, as well as the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) brand as well.
