Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Sandra Peabody

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Sandra Peabody (born 11 January 1948) is an American film and stage actress, screenwriter, producer and acting coach. She is best known for her role as Mari Collingwood in Wes Craven's 1972 film The Last House on the Left (1972). A cult hit, the film established her as a prominent actress in horror, and she subsequently starred in Voices of Desire (1972), Massage Parlor Murders (1973), and Legacy of Satan (1974). Peabody's other notable role is Bird in the comedy film Teenage Hitchhikers (1975). Outside of film, she has starred in a variety of stage productions including Robert Kalfin's Tarot (1970). Peabody quit acting and has since became an acting coach and a screenwriter whose focus is on children orientated programming. Judi Dench

Dame Judith Olivia "Judi" Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA (born 9 December 1934) is an English film, stage and television actress. Dench made her professional debut in 1957 with the Old Vic Company. Over the following few years she played in several of William Shakespeare's plays in such roles as Ophelia in Hamlet, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. She branched into film work, and won a BAFTA Award as Most Promising Newcomer; however, most of her work during this period was in theatre. Not generally known as a singer, she drew strong reviews for her leading role in the musical Cabaret in 1968. During the next two decades, she established herself as one of the most significant British theatre performers, working for the National Theatre Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In television, she achieved success during this period, in the series A Fine Romance from 1981 until 1984 and in 1992 began a continuing role in the television romantic comedy series As Time Goes By. Homayoun Ershadi (sometimes spelled Homayon Ershadi), is an Iranian actor. Ershadi was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1947. He studied architecture in Italy and worked in that field. Acclaimed Iranian New Wave director Abbas Kiarostami chose him to play the leading role in Taste of Cherry. A non-professional actor, who started acting in his middle age, he has had immediate success in both cinema and television, with his expressionless, relaxed face and monotonous voice often giving his characters an intellectual personality. Most recently he can be seen in the movie The Kite Runner, playing the role of Baba. He is one of few Iran-based Iranian actors that are permitted to act in Western movies. He currently resides in Karaj, Iran.

Axelle Laffont (born 24 July 1970) is a French actress and comedian. She was born in Marseille. She is both the granddaughter of publisher Robert Laffont, and the daughter of Patrice Laffont, television presenter, and Catherine Laporte. She is also the stepdaughter of Édouard Molinaro who married her mother in 1982. Axelle Laffont participated in La Matinale d'Arthur from 1996 to 1999, but became known by intervening in La Grosse Émission from 1999 to 2000 and then presenting in 2000 and 2001 a very special weather and staggered in the show Nulle part ailleurs on Canal+, based on sketches and burlesque disguises. She also appeared in series such as Un gars, une fille, Caméra Café, H (Season 1 Episode 12: A Red Flacon) and Kaamelott (Book 3 Episode 5: Sefriane of Aquitaine). She makes a one-woman show La Folie du spectacle on a production by Serge Hazanavicius and Maurice Barthelemy of Robins des bois from 2002 to 2005. From September 2007 to January 2008, she regularly appeared in the program On n'est pas couché hosted by Laurent Ruquier on Saturday nights on France 2. In 2009, she wrote the comic, Marny. Sandy Sanders

Biography

Veteran stuntman, actor, and horse trainer Sandy Sanders was born on May 23, 1919, in Hereford, Texas. Sanders grew up all over the country. Following service in the U.S. Army during World War II, Sandy went on to put together a horse act. Sanders ran across a film crew while working in Kansas and decided to try his luck in Hollywood, California after a producer suggested that idea to him. Sandy was hired as Gene Autry's stunt double at Columbia soon thereafter. Sanders performed stunts and acted in many movies and television shows in a career that spanned four decades. Moreover, Sandy was also a rope and horse trainer, a riding stable owner, and even a riding teacher both during and in between film gigs. Sanders died at age 85 on January 2, 2005, in Santa Maria, California.

Tawny Kitaen

Julie Ellen "Tawny" Kitaen (August 5, 1961 – May 7, 2021) was an American actress, model, and media personality. She began her career as a television actress, appearing in the television films Malibu (1983) and California Girls (1985). She also starred in the comedies The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik-Yak and Bachelor Party (both 1984), and the horror film Witchboard (1986). Kitaen garnered widespread recognition for her appearances in a number of heavy metal music videos, including Ratt's "Back for More" (1984) and Whitesnake's "Still of the Night", "Is This Love" and "Here I Go Again" (all 1987). In the 2000s, Kitaen transitioned into appearing on reality television series, including The Surreal Life (2006) and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008), the latter of which documented Kitaen's issues with substance abuse. Sarah Formosa

Biography

Born and raised in the greater Vancouver area, Sarah Formosa has always had a love for performing and began dancing at the age of three. Upon graduation, she decided to go a more classical route after being accepted to the prestigious Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program in 2014 in San Francisco, California. Since Sarah's return to Vancouver in 2016, she has widened her lens, and works in all styles of dance as a freelance contemporary artist and on camera in film and television. On screen, Sarah has had the pleasure of working with Netflix (Julie and the Phantoms), HBO Max (Star Struck: A Cinderella Story), Disney (Descendants 3), Nickelodeon (Blurt), Lifetime (Death of a Cheerleader) and The ABC Network (Once Upon a Time). She is grateful to have shared the space with the amazing Michelle Johnston, Kenny Ortega and Jamal Sims during these experiences. As a live performer, Sarah had the opportunity to join Wanting Qu as a dancer and choreographer for her set for the Albatross Music Festival in Vancouver. She has worked with the Vancouver Opera (Kelly Robinson/Joshua Beamish) and is a currently a performer with 'The Smoke Show' (Jen Oleksiuk). As a contemporary dance artist, Sarah has had the opportunity to work with David Harvey, Ralph Escamillan, Heather Dotto, Heather Laura Gray, Jennifer Mcleish-Lewis, Alameda Civic Ballet Company, The Vancouver Opera (Joshua Beamish), Company Joe Ink (Joe Laughlin) and the response. Dance Company (Amber Funk-Barton). She is honoured to currently be working with the following Vancouver based companies TWObigsteps Collective, Vision Impure (Noam Gagnon), WAREhaus Dance Collective (Meghan Hunter), Raven Spirit Dance Company (Starr Muranko), Wen Wei Dance (Wen Wei Wang) and Action at a Distance (Vanessa Goodman). In the summer of 2019, Sarah took part in Springboard Danse Montreal (Alexandra Wells) where she had the opportunity to perform an excerpt of Crystal Pite's 'Betroffenheit' staged by Eric Beauchesne. In January of 2018, Sarah had her first choreographic residency with Dances for a Small Stage and her work has since been presented by Small Stage and Dancing on the Edge Vancouver. Most recently, Sarah has started her journey as an actor and is happy to be working and training with AMAW Studios under Frank Zotter and Justine Warrington. Sarah is inspired by all art mediums including voice work and as a high-level gymnast. She is excited to add acting to her bag of tricks and will continue to work and learn to become the best artist she can be.
