Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Tara Leigh Patrick (born April 20, 1972), professionally known as Carmen Electra is an American glamour model, actress, television personality, singer, dancer and sex symbol. She gained fame for her appearances in Playboy magazine, on the MTV game show Singled Out, on the TV series Baywatch, and dancing with the Pussycat Dolls, and has since had roles in the parody films Scary Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Disaster Movie. Electra was born in Sharonville, Ohio, the daughter of Patricia, a singer, and Harry, a guitarist and entertainer. She attended Ann Weigel Elementary School and then studied dance at Dance Artists dance studio under Gloria J. Simpson, in Western Hills, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. Her mother died of a brain tumor in 1998. Her older sister Debbie died from a heart attack, also in 1998. Carmen graduated from Princeton High School in Sharonville. Carmen Electra also attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in the Cincinnati Public School District. She has Irish, German, and Cherokee ancestry. Electra started her professional career in 1990 as a dancer at Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio in the show "It’s Magic", one of the more popular shows in the park's history. In 1991, she moved to California and met Prince. Soon after meeting Prince, Electra signed a recording contract with Prince's Paisley Park Records and began a short-lived singing career.During her time at Paisley Park Records, she officially became known as Carmen Electra. Electra on June 3, 2008. In 1995, Electra started appearing in television programs. In May 1996 she was featured in a nude pictorial in Playboy magazine, the first of several. This exposure led to higher profile television appearances, including Baywatch (cast member from 1997–1998, as Leilani "Lani" McKenzie) and MTV's Singled Out. She returned to Baywatch for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. Electra was featured in Playboy four more times, with her second appearance in June 1997, third in December 2000, fourth in April 2003 and her fifth in the January 2009 anniversary issue. She was on the cover three times, in December 2000, April 2003 and on the 55th anniversary Issue in January 2009. Electra has appeared in films such as American Vampire (1997), Good Burger (1997), The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999), the horror spoof Scary Movie (2000) and also appeared in Meet the Spartans (2008), Scary Movie 4 (2006), Epic Movie (2007), Date Movie (2006), Disaster Movie (2008), the remake of the 1970s TV show Starsky & Hutch (2004) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. She won an MTV Movie Award (best kiss) for Starsky & Hutch. She also appeared in an episode of House in which she portrayed herself as an injured golfer and an injured farmer, playing out House's fantasy. In 1999, she appeared in the Bloodhound Gang's music video of "The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope." In 2005, she joined the voice cast of the animated series Tripping the Rift, replacing Gina Gershon as the voice of the sexy android "Six". Also in 2005, she began the Naked Women's Wrestling League, acting as the commissioner for the professional wrestling promotion. In late 2006, Carmen began to be featured in commercials by Taco Bell.

His nationally syndicated series The Cobblestone Corridor (for which Erik served as writer, director, showrunner and lead actor) is the winner of three New England Emmy® Awards and recipient of nine nominations. Erik's sophomore feature Ten Minutes to Midnight (starring Caroline Williams & Nicole Kang) world premiered at Popcorn Frights, played a 50-city theatrical run, and is now on digital & VOD via 1091 Pictures. Samy Seghir (born 29 June 1994 in Saint-Denis) is a French actor of Algerian descent. From an Algerian family, Samy began his career in 2006, when his mother replied to an advertisement in a local newspaper, Aubermensuel. He participated in the audition for Michou d'Auber and was noticed by producer Luc Besson. Living in Émile-Dubois, like the character he was playing, Messaoud, Samy starred in this historic film alongside Gérard Depardieu and Nathalie Baye. In 2006, he starred in a TV movie, Harkis, notably with Smaïn. In 2007, he also starred in Big City, a film by Djamel Bensalah. In 2009, he won the lead role in Neuilly sa mère !, which was the result of his previous collaboration with Djamel Bensalah, the producer. Samy Seghir presented an award at the NRJ Music Awards on 23 January 2010, alongside Maxime Godart and Victoria Silvstedt. He was part of the last fifteen contenders for a César Award, for the Most Promising Newcomer. In the end, he was not on the list of the final five nominees. Camélia Jordana Riad-Aliouane (born 15 September 1992) is a French pop singer and actress. She rose to fame after participating in the television show Nouvelle Star, the French version of Pop Idol, in 2009, where she came in third. Jordana was born on 15 September 1992 in Toulon, to French parents of Algerian descent. Her father Hachemi is of Berber Kabyle origin and her mother Zélihka is from Oran. She grew up in La Londe-les-Maures with her older sister and younger brother. At the age of sixteen, she decided to audition for the seventh season of Nouvelle Star in Marseille, and managed to convince the jury with her version of Louis Armstrong's What a wonderful world. She finished in third place. After her elimination, she signed a record deal with Sony Music and released her eponymous debut album on 29 March 2010. It sold 10,169 copies in its first week and managed to enter the French SNEP Album Chart at #9. Although Jordana's debut single Non Non Non (Écouter Barbara) was only released as download single in France, it peaked at #3 on the French digital chart. It also charted at #3 in Belgium and #48 in Switzerland. She participated in a song for the album So in Love by Nouvelle Star judge André Manoukian in April 2010. Jordana was interviewed and played several songs on the TV5Monde programme 'Acoustic' on 7 November 2010. She was on the jury of the Semaine de la Critique section at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
