Christian Oliver

Biography

Christian Oliver (March 3, 1972 - January 4, 2024) was a German actor. Oliver was born in Celle and grew up in Frankfurt am Main. He relocated to the US to work as a model and subsequently take acting lessons in New York and Los Angeles. In 2003 and 2004, Oliver co-starred in 28 episodes of the German action TV series Alarm für Cobra 11. He died alongside his two daughters in a plane crash off the coast of a Caribbean island. Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. She is an American actress known primarily for her role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix science fiction drama series Stranger Things. Her career began around the age of twelve in 2009, in the family comedic drama Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) starring Miley Cyrus. It was not until her late teens, did she land her breakthrough role on Netflix's horror drama series Stranger Things (2016). Luke Ostermiller (born September 1st, 1995) is an award-winning film director and founder of Denver-based production company Loste Films. His work has been screened in festivals across the United States, distributed on curated streaming platforms and aired on television. Luke is known to edit all of his own films and has also done the editing and cinematography for several other films. In 2017, Luke was seen on the big screen for the first time in the campy satire film "Where Are We?". He is currently credited for working on over 35 productions.

Noted for her portrayals of tragedy and sorrow, Roy was idolized for her acting ability,and was often called the "Queen of Misery" in Hindi film circles. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Annabella Piugattuk (born December 19, 1982 in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada) is a Canadian Inuit actress, notable for her role in The Snow Walker. Piugattuk was raised in Igloolik, a village with a population of 1286 in the Nunavut territory of Canada. Since starring in The Snow Walker she has moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. She was approached by a casting agent about auditioning for The Snow Walker while at a dance with some friends in Igloolik. Like the character she portrays in The Snow Walker, she is an Inuit throat singer, and can fish, hunt seal and walrus, and make clothing out of caribou hides. For her role in The Snow Walker, Piugattuk received a Genie nomination as best supporting actress in 2004. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Chaz Thorne (born 1975, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian actor and television and film director. He graduated from the National Theatre School in 1996. He has appeared on stages across Canada as well as in numerous film and television projects, including The Event and Lucky Girl. Thorne founded Toronto’s Jack in the Black Theatre in 1996. His first film projects as writer and director were two half-hour comedies for CBC television: Table Dancer and One Hit Wonder. His first feature film screenplay was produced in 2006 as Poor Boy's Game, co-written and directed by Clément Virgo and starring Danny Glover. Just Buried is Chaz's directorial debut. His film, Whirlygig, was featured in the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Thomas Edward Hulce (born December 6, 1953) is an American actor and theater producer. He is best known for his portrayal of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the Academy Award-winning film Amadeus (1984), as well as the roles of Larry "Pinto" Kroger in Animal House (1978), Larry Buckman in Parenthood (1989), and Quasimodo in Disney's animated film The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996). Awards include an Emmy Award for The Heidi Chronicles, a Tony Award for Spring Awakening, an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for Amadeus, and four Golden Globe nominations. Peter Henry Fonda (February 23, 1940 – August 16, 2019) was an American actor. He was the son of Henry Fonda, younger brother of Jane Fonda, and father of Bridget and Justin Fonda. Fonda was a part of the counterculture of the 1960s. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Easy Rider (1969), and the Academy Award for Best Actor for Ulee's Gold (1997). For the latter, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama. Fonda also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film for The Passion of Ayn Rand (1999).
