Biography

Ariel Gardner is a writer, director, and editor from Los Angeles, CA. Half of the directing duo Alex & Ariel, they were known for their prolific output of dark comedy short films & web-series, including KILL THE BABY (2015), JUDY (2016), SOUND SPEEDS (2016), NANCY (2016), A RIPPLE OF NOTHING SIGNIFICANT (2016), TOPLESS MAID (2016), AWESOMEFUNTV (2017) and the Adult Swim late night short, COOL DAD (2018). In 2017, the duo released their debut feature film ON THE ROCKS. Gardner has since released acclaimed works such as the Channel 101 web-series CHOIR BOYZ (2017) , the Slamdance short MOLLY'S SINGLE (2019), the documentary YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING (2018), and the experimental short HOUSES (2020).

Julia Ling

Biography

A native of Southern California, Julia Ling first expressed her creative side at age 3 when she drew pictures of her parents drinking tea. By age 6, her artwork had been featured in local magazines, festivals and newspapers, including the Pasadena Star News, which gave her a front-page spread. Also at age 6, Ling wrote and narrated a creative story that won her the "Best Storyteller Award" by the Chinese World Newspaper. By age 9, Ling was performing award-winning solo dances throughout California, and her umbrella dances had aired on national television. In high school, Ling was student body president and president of German Club, Amnesty International, Literature Society and Junior Statesmen Debate Team. She competed in dance, varsity tennis and swimming. In 1997, Congressman David Dreier recognized Ling for her community service at the local hospital. At age 16, she was selected as a state finalist in the Miss America Pageant and after nine years of playing the piano, graduated from the Royal Board of Music. She graduated high school second in her class with a 4.0 GPA and perfect SAT scores. Pursuing a career in medicine, Ling majored in biomedical chemical engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was Treasurer of Chemical Engineering Society, Vice President of the Engineering Society of UCLA and honorary member of the Society of Women Engineers. She left it all to pursue her love of performing. In 2003, Julia Ling made her network television debut on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, playing opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar. Over the next two years, she starred in over 20 independent short films and returned to prime time television in roles on House (FOX) and ER (NBC) in 2006. She guest starred in the recurring role of Kim Tao on the critically acclaimed Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip (NBC). Her next major guest starring role was on the television drama ER, playing the recurring character of Mae Lee Park, a surgical intern. She also guest starred in The O.C., and Grey's Anatomy. Most notably known for her work on prime time television, Ling starred as the popular Anna Wu on NBC's CHUCK. After voicing and filming the live action character "Izumi" for the video game, Command and Conquer (EA), Ling toured the world for autograph signing and charity fundraising. In the 2007 Jackie Chan Disciples martial arts competition, Ling was selected as one of the top four finalists to compete in the International Top 100. Her performance also won her "Best Acting Award". In 2011, Ling joined the cast of FOX sitcom, I Hate My Teenage Daughter and voiced a sketch for Conan O'Brien. Most recently, she worked on a movie performing opposite Academy Award winner Adrien Brody. The movie will premiere in theaters June, 2012.

Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. José María Yazpik (born November 13, 1970) is a Mexican film and television actor. Yazpik was born in Mexico City in the bosom of a wealthy family, the son of a successful gynecologist, Dr. Jose Maria Meza, and Cristina Yazpik. His first acting job came from a friend of his father, who produced the TV movie The brute with the angel of death. He moved to Mexico City to study at CEA of Televisa. At the CEA he studied with future celebrities like Arath de la Torre, Fabián Corres and Eduardo Rill. Upon graduating he was offered minor roles in youth soap operas on Televisa, which he wanted to refuse, however the exclusive contract with the station forced him to accept all the roles he was offered, and was additionally punished with two months without pay.He received his first major role on television in the soap opera The Dove in 1995, produced by José Rendón, which stopped production because of the tragic death of its protagonist, actor Gerardo Hemmer. The following year he participated in his second telenovela, Song of Love, produced by Luis de Llano Macedo, and in the film Última llamada, directed by Carlos Garcia Agraz. In 1997 his career began to take flight with interests in television increasingly important, playing the villain role of youth in telenovelas Pueblo chico, infierno grandeand Ángela, both produced by José Alberto Castro.

Eva Koldits (born Eva Klemets; born February 14, 1977) is an Estonian actress and director. She graduated from Kehra Middle School in 1995 and studied Estonian philology at Tallinn Pedagogical University in 1996-1999. In the years 2000–2004, she studied directing at the Estonian Academy of Music Higher School of Performing Arts. In 2006, she completed her master's degree. In 1998-1999, she worked at the Tallinn Music High School. In the years 2004–2006, she worked as a director at the Tallinn City Theater, in the years 2007–2010 as an actress and director in Vanemuise. From 2010 to 2018, she was an actor and director of Theater NO99. Her productions "Et kogien mind valvaks" (2004) and "Sugrierror.com" (2011) have been nominated for a special prize at the Estonian Theater Annual Awards, and the production "Tokerjad" (2014) has been nominated for the best director prize. In 2013, she was nominated for the best supporting actress award at the Estonian Theater Annual Awards for her role in Teater NO99's play "Suur ogimine". Since 2006, she has been a member of the Estonian Directors' Union.

Meghan Oberholzer

Biography

Meghan starred in the South African feature film "Cut- Out Girls" written and directed by award winning writer and actress Nicola Hannekom. It premiered at the Silwerskerm Film Festival in Cape Town in 2018 as well as the Cape Town International Film Festival that same year. It then went on to screen at the Rapid Lion Film Festival in Johannesburg in 2019 and later that year released in cinemas nationwide throughout South Africa. It has recently been released on DSTV Box Office and is available to rent throughout South Africa. It has also been nominated for a South African Film and Television Award (SAFTA) for best editing. Meghan also went on to play the part of a environmentalist reporter in Asylum's "Monster Island" alongside Eric Roberts and Toshi Toda (2019).
