Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs is an American actor and singer. He has appeared in a number of films and television programs, including Claudine (1974), Cooley High (1975), Roots (1977), Welcome Back, Kotter (1975), Bangers and Mash (1983), and The Jacksons: An American Dream (1992). Lawrence's name, at least as shown in the credits of Welcome Back Kotter, was Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs. Lawrence was born in New York City, New York, United States, the fifth child of nine to West Indian parents Hilton Jacobs (deceased 2009) and Clothilda Jacobs (deceased c. 2000). He attended Wilkes University for a short time before his acting career took off. He began his acting career in the summer of 1969 and graduated from the High School of Art and Design in 1971. Afterward, he studied acting with the world famous Negro Ensemble Company and the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble. In 1975, he won the part of Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington on the ABC hit comedy series, Welcome Back, Kotter. Hilton-Jacobs starred in a few commercials over the years, including an early 1970s commercial for The United Negro College Fund.

In 2016, she did double roles of Ranjini Moorthy and Bhadra in TV serial Saagaram Sakshi. In 2017, she was a contestant of reality show Dare the Fear.[9] and Tamaar Padaar. In 2018, she hosted Thakarppan Comedy and Mimicry Mahamela in Mazhavil Manorama. She also appeared in Amrita TV's tele-serial Kshanaprabha Chanchalam in the same year. In 2019, she played the female lead Lily in Arayannangalude Veedu aired on Flowers TV. She was also seen as a contestant in Star Magic in the same year. From 2022, she is playing the female lead in soap opera Bhavana in Surya TV.

She was a favorite star of director Paul Verhoeven's films and is perhaps best known for her work in his 1980 release, Spetters. Soutendijk is the mother of actress Caro Lenssen. A former Olympic athlete in gymnastics, Amsterdam-born Renee Soutendijk began her film career in Germany. The blonde, powerfully built young actress scored a hit playing loose-cannon "heroines" in a brace of Paul Verhoeven-directed cult films, Spetters (1980) and The Fourth Man (1983). Soutendijk's first English-language assignment was as Eva Braun in the made-for-TV Inside the Third Reich. Her subsequent TV movie roles included Anna Mons in Peter the Great (1986) and Mrs. Simon Weisenthal in Murderers Among Us (1987).
