Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Pavlína Němcová (born 18 February 1972 in Děčín, Czechoslovak Socialist Republic) is a Czech model, actress and producer. Němcová enrolled into the Actors Studio in New York, taking Jack Waltzer’s classes for one year. After acting in a few American independent film projects, such as Salome’s Kiss and Damaged, and playing small parts in European films like Colditz and Modern Love, Němcová obtained the role of the American journalist who interviews Edith Piaf/Marion Cotillard in La Vie en Rose. She was then cast as Olga in La Guerre des Miss – The War of the Beauty Queens, released in France in January 2009. Bo was discovered by a agent in North Carolina at the age of 9 months. The agent approached Bo and his mother during a shopping trip in a mall, saw Bo's potential, thinking he was 2 years old due to his size and walking at such a young age. His first job at age 11 months was a print ad, Bo continued from there with many more print and commercials, from Landrover to Nikon, before starting to work in TV and Film at about age 5. From there Bo has become one of the Carolina's most famous. He still lives in Aiken, South Carolina but travels the East coast and out to the West coast often. Bo appeared in the 2007 ABC series October Road in which he played Doodie, and Little Big Shots where he plays himself - a Simon Cowell show he worked on in LA Summer of 2006. Bo also worked on a show called Fridays on Cartoon Network. Bo's most recent TV series is HBO's EastBound and Down where he works with many great Actors like Danny McBride and Will Ferrell. Bo owns his own business. Bo started his company Hollywoodsinc at age 7 and has a great Entrepreneuer talent. Starting his first business owning the copyright to all of his logos and jingles. The first business was Hollywoods Tropical Sno, over 100 flavors of the finest shaved ice in the south, with over 3 Huts running. He employed about 15 teens every summer. Nanette Joan Workman (born 20 November 1945, Brooklyn, New York, United States) is a singer-songwriter, actress and author, who has been based in Quebec, Canada, during much of her career. She holds dual citizenship of both the United States and Canada. She was raised by musician parents in Jackson, Mississippi, where she began her first performances. Although raised as an English speaker, she mainly performs in French. She has recorded with well-known musicians in the U.S., Canada, UK and France and has been recognized in Mississippi by being elected to that state's Musicians Hall of Fame and having a Francophone house named after her at the state university. Workman was born in Brooklyn, New York, on 20 November 1945, to musician parents. Her mother, Beatryce Kreisman, was in the chorus of Naughty Marietta with the New York City Opera Company, and her father, Ernest Workman, played trumpet in Tommy Dorsey's orchestra. She grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. As a child she studied piano and began her career at 11, appearing in the local WLBT television series Mr. Magic (later Junior Time) until she was given her own weekly show, Teen Tempos. She graduated from Provine High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, leaving college at 18 for Broadway. After understudying the lead of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, she played the role of Rosemary in 1964 and later played the lead in summer stock. In 1966, Workman met Tony Roman and recorded her first French single, "Et Maintenant", for him in Canada, where the song remained on the charts for fifteen weeks after becoming number one. Over the next two years she became a Canadian recording and TV star, finally hosting Fleurs d'amour, fleurs d'amitié. In 1969, Workman moved to England where she appeared weekly on Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's comedy series Not Only... But Also. Mistakenly credited as Nanette Newman, Workman sang backing vocals on "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Country Honk" (the acoustic precursor to Honky Tonk Women), tracks from The Rolling Stones' 1969 album Let It Bleed (she's credited as Nanette Newman, and some have confused her with the British actress married to director Bryan Forbes). She also worked with John Lennon and Elton John. In addition, she appeared in one of the black-and-white episodes of The Benny Hill Show (appearing as Nanette), performing "Everybody's Singing Like Now" on the 24 February 1971 edition. ... Wendy Kilbourne

Kilbourne was only eighteen when she has appeared in television for the first time. It was March 1983, when she guest appeared in one of the Matt Houston (1982) episodes. She reprised that role once again, next year (it's unknown if she has done some commercials earlier or not). In the same year she played in the TV movie Calendar Girl Murders (1984). But currently, her most popular was her her next role, which was Constance Flynn/Hazard from the "North and South" trilogy. In 1985, she met her future husband James Read. It was on the set of North and South (1985). They played a married couple. They continued their affair during making  North and South, Book II (1986) and finally got married two years later. They live in California and have at least one son; Jackson (born 1991). They remain in touch with other co-stars from "North and South" - Genie Francis and Jonathan Frakes (also married). Since "North and South" times Kilbourne has played in plenty of TV movies and a couple of TV series. None of them, though, has allowed her to become a big Hollywood star.
