Biography

Blake Edwards was an American film director, screenwriter and producer. Edwards' career began in the 1940s as an actor but he soon turned to writing radio scripts at Columbia Pictures. He used his writing skills to begin producing and directing, with some of his best films including: Experiment in Terror, The Great Race, and the hugely successful Pink Panther film series with the British comedian Peter Sellers. Often thought of as primarily a director of comedies, he was also renowned for his dramatic work, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Days of Wine and Roses. His greatest successes, however, were his comedies, and most of his films were either musicals, melodramas, slapstick comedies, and thrillers. In 2004, he received an Honorary Academy Award in recognition of his writing, directing and producing an extraordinary body of work for the screen.

Frank Vincent

Biography

Frank Vincent (August 4, 1939 - September 13, 2017) was an American actor, musician, author and entrepreneur. He was a favorite performer of director Martin Scorsese, having played important roles in three of Scorsese's most acclaimed films: Raging Bull (1980), Goodfellas (1990) and Casino (1995). He often played a gangster and worked both in features and television. He also lent his voice talents to video games. He played the New York Boss Phil Leotardo in the HBO series The Sopranos. Mae Margaret Whitman (born June 9, 1988) is an American actress and singer. She began acting in commercials as a child, making her film debut at the age of six in the romantic drama When a Man Loves a Woman (1994). She achieved recognition as a child actress for her supporting roles in One Fine Day (1996), Independence Day (1996), Hope Floats (1998), and her television roles on Chicago Hope (1996–1999) and JAG (1998–2001). Sean Connery

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Morena Baccarin (born June 2, 1979) is a Brazilian-born American actress most widely known for roles in several American science fiction television shows: as Inara Serra in the series Firefly; as Adria in the series Stargate SG-1; and as Anna in the 2009 version of the series V. Baccarin was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her mother is Brazilian stage and TV actress Vera Setta, and her father is Italian journalist Fernando Baccarin. When she was 7, Baccarin moved with her family to Greenwich Village, New York, as her father was transferred to Globo TV's headquarters in the United States, working as editor. Baccarin attended Public School 41 and New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies, where she and Claire Danes were classmates. She later attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before she entered the theater program at Juilliard. Baccarin landed her first movie role in the improvised fashion world comedy Perfume (2001).

Michelle Meyrink

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Michelle Meyrink (born September 1, 1962) is a Canadian actress who performed roles during the 1980s in both television and in films, mostly playing roles as offbeat teen girls. She is best remembered as the hyperactive whiz-kid Jordan Cochran in the 1985 film Real Genius and as the female nerd Judy in 1984's Revenge of the Nerds. Meyrink was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She appeared in many comedy films, including 1983s Valley Girl as Suzi Brent, 1983's The Outsiders as Cherry Valance's best friend Marcia. In 1984 she guest-starred on the television show Family Ties as Mallory's friend (and Skippy's latest infatuation). Her last Hollywood role was in the 1988 film Permanent Record. Thereafter, she gave up acting as a career, deciding she wanted more out of life than the profession provided. During this transition period she became interested in the practice of Zen. Toward her goal of reshaping her life, she moved to the Dominican Republic to be near family members. She later moved back to her hometown of Vancouver and in 1996 met her future husband John at the Zen Centre of Vancouver. As of 2010 Meyrink lived with husband John and their three children (then, ages 17, 15, and 11) on Bowen Island, just off the coast of Vancouver. She and her family were the subjects of a 2004 episode of the Canadian television series Quiet Mind, which focused on their embrace and practice of Zen Buddhism. Anton Karastoyanov

Anton Mitev Karastoyanov was a Bulgarian actor. He was born on April 14, 1939 in Elhovo, Bulgaria. He graduated National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1966 with a degree in "acting". He worked in the Gabrovo Drama Theater, in Satire Theater and in the National Theatre. Anton was called by friends and colleagues "Tony the Wrinkle". Viewers have remembered his roles in "The Boy is going", "Tattoo", "Perverse Man", "Love", "Glow over Drava", "Rural Area", "Buna", "Daughter in Law", "Addendum to the Law on Protection of the State" and "The Double". He played memorable characters in the theater in "Learning to Fly" by Yordan Radichkov, "Major Barbara" by Bernard Shaw, "Last time" by Valentin Rasputin, "Ivan Kondarev" by Emilian Stanev and "Under the Yoke" by Ivan Vazov. Karastoyanov was awarded the title "Honored Artist" in 1981. He won Second prize of the Review of the Soviet drama for his role in "Optimistic tragedy". He died on December 21, 2004 in Sofia.

Cheryl Chou was born and raised in Singapore until she was eight years old. She then moved to China with her parents where she lived for ten years. In 2016, Cheryl was crowned Miss Universe Singapore and was given the opportunity to represent Singapore in the finals held in Manila, Philippines, in January 2017, during her reign as Miss Universe Singapore 2016, she became the brand ambassador of Beaute Hub (Facial and Slimming Wellness Center) and PHS Hair Science (Scalp Treatment Center). Cheryl is also an advocate for living an active and healthy lifestyle. She trains six times a week, mainly doing HIIT workouts and live on a predominately plant-based diet. She was trained for cinematic kung-fu with Hong Kong based martial arts trainer and choreographer, Chris Collins. She also partakes in Muay Thai classes as part of her fitness regimen. In 2018, Cheryl landed her first major supporting role on Mediacorp TV Singapore’s Channel 8 drama, 29th February (229明天見), alongside with Aloysious Pang. In 2019, Cheryl nailed the role of Girly Danker in the TV adaption of Dick Lee’s musical “Fried Rice Paradise”, broadcasted on MediaCorp TV Singapore Channel 5. She also nailed her first main female lead role in a Channel 5 drama, Love By Numbers. Aside from acting, Cheryl is also an experience emcee. She has hosted events for brands including Lancome, Armani Beauty, Fenty Beauty and Puma.

An English musician, singer and songwriter. Best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, he has also had a successful solo career spanning more than 40 years and possessing a powerful wide vocal range (particularly using his trademark high-pitched vocals). Plant is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock and roll, and he has influenced contemporaries and such later singers as Freddie Mercury, Axl Rose and Chris Cornell. In 2006, heavy metal magazine Hit Parader named Plant the "Greatest Metal Vocalist of All Time".
