Sean Connery

Biography

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. María Concepción Alonso Bustillo (born June 29, 1957), better known as María Conchita Alonso, is a Cuban-born Venezuelan-American actress, singer, songwriter, former beauty queen, and philanthropist. Throughout her career, she has participated in multiple productions both in film and on television, having been nominated for the Independent Spirit Award as Best Leading Actress in 1996 for her role in Caught. Born Gameel Abu-Bakr Raateb (November 1928 – Cairo) is an Egyptian actor. In 1940s, Gameel first appeared in the film “Al-forsaan al-thalaatha i.e. The three musketeers”, his family refused the idea and his scenes were removed. Raateb traveled to Paris to study Law and Economy, yet he preferred studying Theatre and appeared in Shakespeare’s “Much ado without nothing (1947)”. To provide living expenses, Gameel worked in small jobs besides acting and then became a notable member of the “Comédie Française”. American filmmaker Carol Reed presented Gameel Raateb in “Trapeze (1956)” along with Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis and Gina Lollobrigida. Gameel also showed in many TV series like; “Rehlat al-million i.e. The journey to be a millionaire” and “Sonbol ba’d al-million i.e. Sonbol..a millionaire”. He played the villain his unique way and excelled in authoritarian and aristocrat roles especially with Faaten Hamaama in “Hekaaya waraa koll baab i.e. A story behind every door”.

Henry Lau, commonly referred to as Henry, is a Canadian singer, dancer, musician, songwriter, composer, entertainer, model and actor mostly active in South Korea and China. He debuted in 2008 as a member of Super Junior-M. Aside from group activities, he has also produced several songs for various artists, television dramas and is a part of a composing team Noize Bank. In June 2013, Lau debuted as a solo artist with his first extended play, Trap. It peaked at #2 on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and spawned the single with the same name, which peaked at 28 on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, also peaked at #18 on the Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100 Weekly singles. In April 2018, Lau left SM Entertainment following the expiration of his contract with them and effectively left Super Junior-M. In July 2018, Lau established his own studio, Henry Workshop. Her career on regional offices of France 3 and Radio France where she meets Bruno Carette. She is the mother of Jennifer Ayache (born 1983), singer of the French rock band Superbus.
