Your Fingers Smell Like Incense

The dramatic story captures the hard and dangerous life of the partisan group "Čapajev" led by Ľudovít Kukorelli during World War II. It retrospectively presents the course of the Slovak National Uprising in eastern Slovakia.

Certain circumstances force the successful businessman Viktor to stay in a small seaside city longer than he had planned. It’s the New Year’s Eve. To “kill the evening”, the hero gets acquainted with a young salesgirl, Lyuba. Quite unexpectedly, they fall passionately and fatally in love… A lyrical variation on the theme of a gallant prince and a poor Cinderella, starring the inveterate lady-killer of Russian screen Sergey Zhigunov (“The Princess on a Bean”) and the young primadonna of the Aleksandrinsky Theatre Yuliya Marchenko (“Swan Paradise”), with the musical accompaniment of the famous Gypsy group “Loiko”.

In a remote village in Karelia, Sergeant Vaskov commands an anti-aircraft unit that protects a rail depot. A seriously ill patient is brought to the clinic of a research institute. Young doctor Falko, a resident at the institute, insists on an urgent operation, but his supervisor Druz believes that in this case therapeutic treatment will be more effective and, moreover, will not be associated with risk. Professor Shostenko nevertheless undertakes to operate on the patient. The successfully completed operation confirms the diagnosis made by Falko. Parallel to the events in the clinic, the action unfolds in the house of the director of the institute Shostenko, where his son Igor returns after a three-year absence. The complicated relationship between Igor and his wife, the love story of Shostenko's daughter and Druz - the canvas of the second plot of the film.

Sea elements are fraught with many secrets. No crew is safe from emergencies that may occur at sea when they enter the open sea. The film tells a story that happened with the crew of an old tugboat "Dolphin". The ship fell into a terrible storm and, unable to overcome weather conditions, stood on stones. The crew led by the captain promptly leaves the ship, only the engineer Samokhin remains on the ship.

The film takes place in a small southern town, the main problem of which is the lack of uninterrupted water supply. The young deputy chairman of the city executive committee proposes to speed up the construction of a water pipeline by passing it through the village of Shanghai, which was arbitrarily built up by people, thereby depriving hundreds of families of shelter...
