This film does well to document his life, the younger generation who is unaware of his charisma will get to know him. The film chronicles his life , his acting career well. It gives a good overview of how the drama companies were run and how he influenced the running. His values and character stand out amidst all the tragedies in his life.

Sai lives a middle class life he is the only earning member of his family. He takes a loan from bank but is unable to pay the installments on time following which the bank will take control of his house.

Representing thousands of Marathi's, Dinkar Maruti Bhosle, feels he is lost in Aamchi Mumbai and voices his concern about being overlooked and victimized over other communities. Ultimately he curses his ancestors for being born a Marathi. That's when Shivaji Raje gets his attention and gives him a piece of his mind
