The Swedish summer is on and Göran, recently dumped by his girlfriend, is searching for the woman of his dreams. Life coach Sven travels to Thailand to fulfil his dreams as a writer. He meets Gitte a yoga-practising free spirit from Norway. Then along comes Anja, an editor who works for a Swedish publisher. What does he really want to do with his life, and who does he want to do it with?

"Monica Z" is a biopic about the Swedish singer and actress Monica Zetterlund focusing on her journey from a job as a telephone operator in a small town in Sweden to stardom in the clubs of New York and Stockholm.

Selma is a successful chick lit author who decides to start over, writing "real literature". At the same time, she embarks on parallel relationships with two different men - the bookish Nils and a rock star wannabe named John.

After hiring Micke, a carpenter from Stockholm, to help renovate her kitchen, upper class Veronica develops immediate feelings for him. The two are keen to start a relationship, but their two children are less enthusiastic. Veronica decides a holiday to Bohuslan where her parents live is just what the couple needs.

The story revolve around five couples of different generations. Their lives are woven together by coincidences but sometimes through very deliberate choices where the common driving force is the search for love.

A street racing legend Dennis who neglected his marriage and 16 year old daughter Hanna. One day he finds out that his daughter will participate in a race with her new boyfriend. To stop Hanna, Dennis and his ex-wife Tove go on a trip.

Hey Baberiba was a comedy show on TV4 in Sweden, where three comedians made impersonations of different Swedish celebrities. The show was a success for TV4 and ran for four seasons. It received a lot of publicity and many fans for its portrayal of the Swedish Royal Family. No new season is planned by TV4. The three hosts all continued to the show Fredag Hela Veckan, a Swedish version of Saturday Night Live. The name comes from Hey Baberiba, a Swedish cover of Hey! Ba-Ba-Re-Bop.

Stockholm - Båstad

100 höjdare was a Swedish TV series which was produced and aired on Kanal 5. Six seasons of the show were produced and it ran from 2004 to 2008. It was hosted by the comedy duo Filip Hammar & Fredrik Wikingsson. In the first three seasons the hosts presented funny moments, often in the form of video clips, listing their 100 all-time favorites. In season two and three they also discuss the clips with celebrity guests. By season four the format changed and instead of showing clips, Filip and Fredrik made impromptu interviews with people, often in their homes.

Fredag Hela Veckan is a Swedish TV show on TV4, a Swedish version of Saturday Night Live. Among the famous Swedish comedians in the show, there were David Hellenius, Peter Magnusson and Christine Meltzer, stars from the prior Friday entertainment Hey Baberiba. Other cast members included Josephine Bornebusch, Mackan Edlund, Ulrika Kjällander, Ulf Kvensler and Andreas Nilsson. Kvensler hosted the in-show show Senaste Nytt, which is similar to SNL:s Weekend Update.

TV-Domarna

The first season of Sweden's Idol premiered in August 2004 and continued until its grand finale on 26 November. It is a spin off of Britain's Pop Idol.

Schulman show is a web-TV program on aftonbladet.se which premiered 30 October 2009. It is structured as a talk show in which TV host Alex Schulman talks with recurrent Ann Söderlund and Markus Larsson and usually a guest in each program. The topics are current entertainment events. Each program has had between 350,000 and 500,000 viewers, making it the Swedish breakthrough for Web TV.
