My Best Friend is the outrageous story of two men, friends since childhood, who have spent their lives tormenting one another. It is only when Constantinos discovers Alekos in bed with his wife that their friendship and their respective marriages finally collapse into a death spiral of sex, deceit and irrepressible humor. As events unfold another deception, one concealed by both men's wives, opens the door to incredible erotic intrigue.

A shy and reluctant Theology high school teacher in Thessaloniki-Greece decides to solve his erection problem by consulting a doctor for the first time after two years. The doctor just replies that the problem can be solved by R20. R20 is played fabulously by Dimitris Starovas. He is a former psychologist (now operating his father's import export meat business) that uses company trucks as moving brothels. R20 actually stands for: "Russian 20 years old" which eventually means that Lakis Lazopoulos has to cheat on his wife to solve his problem.

Manos, a Greek school teacher, is forced to travel to Melbourne, Australia when the man who murdered his grandfather 57 years ago surfaces there. While the reluctant Manos is tutored in the art of revenge by old friend Stephanos, he also attempts to patch things up with his former fiance Nicki.

Michael falls in love with an American woman while borrowing his cousin's apartment, but the discovery of the contents of her suitcases gets them involved with the police, among other troubles.

Chryssa Ropa, as a modern Penelope, tries to keep the house, the child, the life that is lost. But love and affection are crushed in the years of infidelity and greed.
