After the Iron Fist King shows up at Master Chien’s and defeats his top fighter, Chi Hung, Master Chien decides to comply with the townspeople’s wishes, but little does everybody know that Master Chien has a backup plan that will cause everybody to suffer the consequences and that includes his own self.

The powerful mobster Leung, who is protected by the dangerous and wicked Huan Fai, sells two hundred Japanese weapons and ammunition to a Chinese gang. Yueh Feng writes and directs a clever love-and-kung-fu triangle, Cheng Kang both writes and directs kung-fu courtesans battling brigands, and the "godfather of the kung-fu film," Chang Cheh, creates a cliff-hanging, swashbuckling mini-movie with maxi-action.

Chiao Tzu Wei hires a killer under the premise that the local government (run by the local kung fu school) is corrupt and extorting the people of the town. The killer happens to be Hsieh Chun (aka Hsiao Hu) who left town ten years ago. (When Hsieh Chun opens up a suitcase full of knives, you know that there is going to be tons of killing!). Thinking that the local kung fu school is bad, he goes over there to fight them. There is some reuniting of lost friends and some love between two of them. The bad guys are constantly double crossing everyone and this leads to total mayhem and carnage. The final fight scene (which is actually several fight scenes going from one to the next) is incredible, especially the blood soaked finale between the evil Japanese leader of the opium ring and the two brothers.

The Legal Illegals is a Hong Kong crime movie starring Chan Wai-Man and Alan Tang.

Against the Blade of Honour is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Gu Long's novel Yuanyue Wandao. The series was first run on TVB in July 1997 in Hong Kong.

Daiyu becomes close to her cousin, Jia Baoyu, but Wang Xifeng, a daughter-in-law, schemes to marry Baoyu to Xue Baochai, a relative of the family's matriarch. When Baoyu falls ill after losing a jade, the family forces him to marry Xue Baochai, pretending that she is actually Daiyu. Daiyu is heartbroken and dies shortly after. The family eventually declines, and Baoyu becomes a monk.

During the later years of the Kangxi Emperor's rule, his many sons were vying for the throne. The fourth prince, aided by Lusi, Nian Gengyao, and Han Chong, while the fourteenth prince had the support of martial arts master Zeng Jing. The competition between the two became intense. Lusi developed a romantic relationship with the fourth prince while Zeng Jing also had feelings for her, making their situation more complicated. Later, the fourth prince killed Kangxi and altered the imperial edict, successfully usurping the throne and naming himself Emperor Yongzheng. Meanwhile, Muslim princess Ma Xianglei seeks Han's help to retrieve the Quran stolen by Qianlong. Xianglei and Qianlong develop mutual feelings, and so do Shiyu and Kong Kong, but they face many obstacles. Ultimately, Qianlong succeeds in dismantling the Society, but Xianglei is murdered. The culprit incites more conflict to harm Qianlong, who vows to avenge Xianglei by finding the true killer.

During the late Eastern Han dynasty, warlords fought for power and control, and Cao Cao held the Emperor captive as a means of controlling other lords. Zhuge Liang, a talented scholar, lived through this turbulent period, but did not prioritize fame and wealth. He was asked to help rescue a monastery from disaster and discovered that there were people within the monastery who were collaborating with the Yellow Turban rebels to kidnap young boys and girls. While assisting a kidnapped girl in finding her family, Zhuge Liang met Xiao Qiao from the Eastern Wu empire, and they fell in love despite her earlier engagement to Zhou Yu. Their love was complicated by these circumstances. Meanwhile, Liu Qi, Zhuge Liang's friend, was determined to contact other like-minded figures to rebel against Cao Cao and to kill him. Upon learning of a secret decree from the Emperor, Liu Qi and Zhuge Liang joined forces to plan their next move.
