A young woman leaves her hometown of Bangkok to visit her fiancé's family on their isolated farm. Although the family embrace her, she doubts if she will ever adapt to their rural lifestyle.

Near a coastal village of Thailand, a local fisherman rescues a stranger, who does not speak a word, offers him his friendship and names him Thongchai. When the fisherman suddenly disappears at sea, Thongchai slowly begins to take over his friend's life—his house, his job and his marriage.

Laila leaves Bangkok, besieged by law enforcement due to political and social unrest, and embarks on a road trip to the town of Pattani, in the far south of Thailand, along with her brother Sugood and Toi, a friend of his, to visit Sainab, the brothers' aunt, whom they barely know.

The mother wants to see a real confession. And money. The intense emotionality the death of a child evokes is, as it were, sculpted in space while the tension between the mother and the visitors is captured more subliminally by a roving camera.

Ananda has returned home from abroad. Unsure of his career plans, he accepts an invitation to act in a new movie for a famous director. During the filming in a small seaside town, Zoe, his American girlfriend from University, arrives for a week-long visit. Jimmy, a 40-year-old former popstar turned engineer, is sent to the region of his childhood to supervise the renovation of an old hotel. Once settled, Jimmy finds out the once flamboyant hotel has become a ruin, a maze of narrow corridors and a relic of a bygone era, which still bears the scars of the American occupation. In the heart of this mysterious place, Jimmy will wander between dream and fantasy and retrace his family’s history.
