Before introverted word-nerd Zoe gains the courage to enter the National Scrabble Championship, she meets her emotional match in Marty, an irascible recluse. She finds him equally pitted against the opposing forces in her life - other people - including family, co-workers and a couple of particularly irksome adversaries standing in the way of her dream to become the world's second female National Scrabble Champion.

A group of three friends head to a cabin in the woods for the weekend. On their way they discover an arm in the road, blood coming from something wrapped in the back of a truck, and other strange things that unfold before their eyes. They plan on a weekend of partying, boozing, drugs and sex. Of course there is a campfire tale of a killer in the woods, the kids get split up, and the blood starts to flow.

Smith's Grove Sanitarium is being shut down due to state budget cuts. They must transport the most dangerous THREE to the Livingston County Jail (just outside Haddonfield, IL) temporarily - let's just say things don't go as planned.
