The Story of the West Quarter

Hoda, a poor girl, gets the chance to marry a millionaire and travel with him. When she returns to Egypt, she establishes her own business where she resorts to illegal ways and fishy connections, which only causes her trouble.

Set in old Cairo, Hassouna (Hamdy Gheith) is a mean thug who collects money from people for protection. He prosecutes Ashour El Nagy's (Ezzat El Alaily) family, who transform from wealth to poverty. Hassouna forces Ashour to divorce his wife and leave the neighborhood, and then tries to marry her.

Three women, a doctor, a lawyer, and a farmer from Upper Egypt, each with a story, are wrongly accused and all sentenced to prison. But they decide to escape so that the peasant woman gives birth to her son outside the prison walls.

An Egyptian social comedy series, the events of which take place in separate connected episodes between the families of (Kamal Al-Hamrawi) and (Sayed Al-Akhdar) adjacent to the residence in the same building, and in each episode there is a new comic situation between them that puts the members of the two families in funny situations.

The events of the series revolve around the story of the rise from the bottom to the top of Abdel Ghafour Al Borai (Noor Al Sharif), starting from the agency of Hajj Ibrahim Sardinah (Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra) until he becomes a private business owner who makes a fortune, during which he has admired Fatima (Abla Kamel), a saleswoman.
