Sameer, Bejoy, Aneesh, Shanu, Paul and Abu are the best of friends. They all wanted to dress up in branded outfits and look stylish in all manner. As they hail from a middle-class family, seldom do they afford the luxury brands. The hankering for luxury brands led them to steal dresses, shoes, and accessories. The turn of events starts when they broke into a villa and get stuck inside. How does this incident change the lives of these 6 friends and inmates of the villa is what the film is about.

Mullankolli is a rustic remote village in northern Kerala. Velayudhan (Mohanlal) is an orphan who came floating during floods and he was brought up by Valiya Nambiar (Madhu) a do-gooder and a feudal landlord of the area. Velayudhan grows up into a riff-raff, drunkard and a local rowdy with a good heart. He hates injustice and has set his own rules for the villagers who are scared of him including local moneylender and politician - Member Kurupu (Jagathy) and Gopinathan Nambiar (Siddique), son-in-law of Valiya Nambiar who wants to rule over the village in his own way.

Avan Chandiyude Makan is a 2007 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Thulasidas. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vijayaraghavan and Vakkom Jayalal in lead roles. The film had musical score by Sanjeev Lal.
