When progressive rock icon Neal Morse was preparing to tour his highly acclaimed 2012 studio release, "Momentum," he turned to YouTube to audition touring players to support his faithful duo of Mike Portnoy (drums) and Randy George (bass). He had high hopes, but the final players selected from more than 70 applicants dramatically surpassed his expectations. They hit the road for an 8-stop North American tour. And now that band's epic New York performance is captured on the new "Live Momentum" 2DVD/3CD Box Set.

With 2DVDs and 3CDs, Testimony 2 - Live in Los Angeles is Neal's most opulent live release as a solo musician. Both the DVDs and CDs capture the concert at the Whittier Community Center from May 28, 2011. The tour itself was Neal's biggest tour ever to date and, for the US gigs only, features the reunion of most of the musicians from the original Testimony band: Neal's 2011 album Testimony 2 - the sequel to Testimony (2003) - could thus be performed live in full length by some of Neal's longtime friends Mike Portnoy, Eric Brenton, Rick Altizer and Mark Leniger. Mike Portnoy's wish to "finally" perform some of the greatest longtracks of Neal's solo catalog on a stage could be fulfilled. Wonderful renditions of "The Separated Man" and "Seeds of Gold" are surely a highlight on this release.

The Neal Morse Band's triumphant double-album, The Similitude of a Dream, is the most acclaimed release that Morse has helmed to date. The 2017 tour was their largest yet, including new continents for the band. At the O13 in Tilburg, Holland, the stars aligned for the most commanding performance of the run, captured for live release in stunning quality. "An epic night on an epic tour," proclaims Neal.

The Neal Morse Band, the progressive rock collective comprised by singer/guitarist/keyboardist Neal Morse, drummer Mike Portnoy, bassist Randy George, keyboardist Bill Hubauer and guitarist Eric Gillette, released their critically admired double-disc concept album The Similitude of a Dream, almost two years ago on November 11th, 2016. It was the eighth studio album with the core of Morse, Portnoy and George, and the second as a true collaboration with this current lineup.

When The Neal Morse Band released their acclaimed The Similitude Of A Dream album - a progressive rock retelling of John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress) back in 2016, it began a journey of epic proportions, with the companion piece The Great Adventure arriving in 2019.The band embarked on a worldwide tour in early 2019 & it was in Brno, Czech Republic that the band chose to film THE GREAT ADVENTOUR 2019 - LIVE IN BRNO, the definitive record of the tour, as George explains: "This was our first time playing there and this venue had a different look and vibe: the audience also turned out to be very energetic. The IC release for this month is a video tape shot by John Vis of our concert last October in Zeche, Bochum. It was quite a good gig and this is something that John put together with several cameras, I think three or four cameras, it’s really nice! The audio is the audio just live out of the room I think out of one of the cameras. But it’s not too bad, you get to hear us, you know! good things and bad things, the mistakes and all that. This is a very nicely shot DVD at a solo-acoustic gig that Neal did in Seattle. Randy George’s group Ajalon joined Neal for "Wind at my Back", "Sing it High", "We All Need Some Light", as well as a few others. A really nice version of "Heaven in My Heart". And some rather obscure songs that Neal doesn’t usually do. There’s a nice acoustic Spock’s Beard medley, as well as some songs from Testimony 1. This month’s Inner Circle is audio and video footage from the 2019 Morsefest Inner Circle Concert. Theremin Fever is a quirky gem of a documentary, shot over the course of Texas' first theremin festival. The film highlights five amazing thereminists: Dorit Chrysler, Armen Ra, Rob Schwimmer, Randy George and Thomas Grillo.
