Based on Jo Brand's critically acclaimed novel of the same name, The More You Ignore Me is a warm, comedy drama focusing on the life of an unconventional family in 1980s rural England. The film focuses on Gina, a young mother, whose efforts to be a loving mother and wife are undermined by her declining mental health. Things deteriorate when she develops an obsession with the local weatherman, which leads to an admission to the nearby psychiatric hospital. Over the years, as she grows up, her daughter Alice struggles to relate to her heavily medicated mum, and causes chaos when she comes up with a plan to reconnect with her, which divides the family forever and leads to a moving climax. Set to the songs of The Smiths, The More You Ignore Me provides a sometimes stark, yet comical insight into life within this quirky household, whilst addressing mental health issues and their impact on the family.

Hollyoaks Later is a spin-off from the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. Broadcast on E4 with a late night slot, the series began in 2008, and was an annual event for the soap until 2013, when there was a break, until it returned with a special episode in 2020. Each of the original series was shown over five consecutive nights. The late night airing allowed for more sexual content, "edgier" storylines, and stronger language. Each series is a stand-alone story, although each ties in with events on the main show at the time, with the producers often taking advantage of the later broadcast time to tie up loose ends on the more violent and controversial storylines.

STARStreet is a British children's television series, starring the pop group allSTARS*. The 'STARS' in allSTARS* and STARStreet represents the first letter of each member's name – Sandi, Thaila, Ashley, Rebecca and Sam. The series saw the band living together in a fictional crazy colourful house, where anything out of the ordinary could happen. It was produced for two series by Carlton Television, in association with Byrne Blood Productions. The first series first aired as part of the ITV children's Saturday morning show, SMTV Live in 2001. Due to its success, the first series was later repeated on CITV. The second series aired on CITV in 2002. Production of STARStreet was cancelled in 2002 due to the allSTARS* splitting up.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks is a comedy panel game show with a pop and rock music theme. The show is infamous for its dry, sarcastic humour and scathing, provocative attacks on the pop industry.
