Merrick Watts

The Merrick & Rosso Show is an Australian comedy television series which airs on The Comedy Channel, which premiered on 2 October 2008. It is hosted by Tim Ross and Merrick Watts, who are better known as comedy duo Merrick and Rosso. Their breakfast radio show is broadcast on Nova 96.9. The comedy duo have also previously hosted the television shows Merrick and Rosso Unplanned on the Nine Network and the The B Team for Network Ten. They also hosted Planet Merrick and Rosso and Super Planet Merrick and Rosso for The Comedy Channel. Merrick Watts has also appeared in the comedy series The Hollowmen and Thank God You're Here. The show also appears on a six day delay on FOX8. On 28 January 2009, The Comedy Channel approved a second season for the series, which began airing on 2 April 2009.

Merrick and Rosso Unplanned was a free-form talk show hosted by Australian comedians Merrick Watts and Tim Ross, based on the UK talk show Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned. Produced by Granada Productions, the series debuted on the Nine Network on 3 September 2003. The show was the network television debut for the comedy duo. A highlight of the series involved comedian Scott Thomson who was dragged on stage to perform a hilarious stand up comedy routine which poked fun at Australian personalities, in particular Nikki Webster and Democrats politician Natasha Stott-Despoja. A telephone number appeared on screen at the end of the segment for viewers to call who had taken offence at Thomson's material.

Rove, formerly Rove Live, was an Australian television variety show which premiered on the Nine Network on 22 September 1999, before moving to Network Ten which aired the program from 2000 until November, 2009. The show was hosted by comedian Rove McManus, and featured an ensemble cast, who presented various segments throughout the course of the show. The show won the Logie Award for "Most Popular Light Entertainment Program" five times.
