The film "Christmas Stories" consists of two short stories, the action of which takes place in Russia at the end of the XIX century on the eve of Christmas. The second story tells about a girl, Zhenya, who wants to sell her favorite doll to buy medicine for her sick mother.

In order to please Maryushka, he arranges a real rout in a fashion boutique, choosing his outfits and driving madly unhappy saleswomen. Other grooms also marry to the beautiful Maryushka. But Maryushka love Ivanushka the fisherman and she will find her happiness only thanks to the Goldfish ...
