Farhad has lost his eyesight due to an injury sustained in battle. As part of his recovery, he is transferred to a temporary hospital, where he encounters young nurse Sheida. Sheida is surprised by his tolerance to the pain of his injury, but soon realises that her recitation of Quran verses has a miraculous calming effect on him. And as the two start to grow closer and Farhad begins to heal, they find themselves on the path between faith and hope, and the true nature of both is revealed to them.

A young woman tries to deal with the insight that her brother is dying. Shabnam is a photographer and sister of a famous war photographer, Hamed. Just before she goes to a party, she is told that the brother has been injured and is in hospital. Shabnam is dragged into a series of strange events, where the boundary between rus and reality is blurred. The debuting feature film directors are also film and art critics in Iran, Bonakdar himself artist - hardly surprising given the film's strong image awareness. It also has to be overlooked with the bit-wise banal depictions of cocaine scrambling and dangerous men.

"From Afar" traces the malaise of a young artist and intellectual in three episodes: Book Burning, Breathing and Dawn. The Young protagonist lives in contemporary Tehran and he appears as a film student, an asthmatic businessman and a successful architect. In each story, he journeys toward a spiritual insight or emotion.

A minstrel named Kamous is standing before Rostam. One out of many stories he has recited for people is: What befell Sohrab with Rostam. Rostam believes that the story the minstrel is narrating-- the Tragedy of Sohrab, is inverted, gone astray and wrongful. And he questions the minstrel "why?" Here, with Rostam questioning the minstrel another story begins which is the opening of our narrative.

It tells the story of a man named "Bardia Barazandeh" who owns a beauty center and is rich and miserly. But soon, with the revelation of the secret of Berdia's wealth, the situation of his family will improve.

The show stars Mehran Modiri, as Shir Farhad, the son of Lower Barare's khan, or leader. He lives with his sister, Saharnaz; mother, Shadone; and father, Salar Khan. The show begins when a journalist, Kiyanush, from Tehran is arrested for writing an article criticizing the government, escapes capture, and then is bitten by a snake. Shir Farhad finds him collapsed and brings him to the village of Barare, nurtures him to health, and gradually introduces him to the town and the other characters in the show, such as the families of Upper and Lower Barare's Khans, as well as the flamboyant village poet, Baguri, and village doctor. Later in the series, new characters such as the village gendarme and Upper Barare's Khan's son and daughter, Keivun and Leilun, join the cast. Davune doesn't appear in this.

Hedayat and Arsalan are two down and out ex-cons with a conscious who have fallen on hard times. When they hear that Meshkat, an old billionaire without any heirs, is in a coma and likely to die, they come up with a plan to once and for all relieve themselves from their misfortunes.
